The game of Lotería was first played in Italy around the
15th Century. Over the next few hundred years the
game spread throughout Europe and by the 18th
Century, Spanish explorers brought the game to
Mexico. Now, for the first time, you, your friends and
your entire family can play El Chavo Lotería!
How to Win:
El juego lotería fue utilizado inicialmente en Italia más o
menos en el sigo XV. Después de algunos cientos de
años este juego se extendió alrededor de Europa y en
el siglo XVIII, exploradores españoles llevaron el juego
a México, país donde nace El Chavo. Ahora, por

Before starting the game, players should decide the
amount of tokens and the formation that is needed to
win. These are the most common formations but
players can be creative and create their own:

Each player picks one of the eight Tablas and places it
in front of themselves. If this is your first time playing,
“pop” the tokens out and place them in a pile so that
everyone can reach them. Next, shuffle the cards and
place them facedown. Pick one person to be the
Caller. The Caller can either be a player in the game or
act solely as the Caller.
The Caller:
Como mencionamos anteriormente, el líder puede ser
uno de los jugadores, pero resulta mucho más
divertido cuando el líder no es un jugador. En este
caso el líder entrega pistas de la imagen que está en la
tarjeta, en lugar de decir el personaje. Por ejemplo: el
líder toma la carta del Señor Barriga, en lugar de decir

As mentioned above, the Caller can be one of the
players in the game, but sometimes it can be a lot
more fun when the Caller is not in the game. Tradi-
tionally, the Caller often reveals the image in a riddle
instead of simply stating what it is. For example, if the
Caller draws the card with Señor Barriga, instead of
simply saying “Señor Barriga,” the Caller may say
something like “he is the landlord.” Or, for example, if
the Caller picks a card with an image of a Ham and
Cheese sandwich, the Caller can say “this is Chavo’s
favorite food.” Sometimes the Caller’s riddles can be
the best part of the game.
How to Play:
Lotería is very similar to the game of bingo but instead
of just numbers, players must match up El Chavo
images. At the beginning of each round, the Caller
turns over the top card of the deck and announces
what is on the card. If any player has that image on
their Tabla, a token is placed over that image.
CÓMO JUGAR:
La Lotería de El Chavo es muy similar al juego Bingo,
pero en lugar de números, los jugadores deben utilizar
los dibujos de El Chavo y encontrar su similar en el
tablero de juego. Al inicio de cada ronda el líder toma
la primera carta de la pila y anuncia la figura que está
