The LINDY USB 2.0 Active Extension Pro System enables you to extend your USB 2.0 devices
by up to 56m, with true USB 2.0 High Speed performance of up to 480 Mbps!
The USB 2.0 Active Extension Pro System consists of four different units (each sold
seperately):
° USB 2.0 Active Extension Pro 8m (LINDY Number 42780)
° USB 2.0 Active Extension Hub Pro 8m (LINDY Number 42781)
° USB 2.0 Active Extension Pro 12m (LINDY Number 42782)
° USB 2.0 Active Extension Hub Pro 12m (LINDY Number 42783)

Please Note: Only the USB 2.0 Active Extension Pro 8m and USB 2.0 Active Extension Hub
Pro 8m can be connected directly to your computer.
If you are creating an extension using multiple units from the Extension Pro System then the
first unit must always be the USB 2.0 Active Extension Pro 8m (Lindy Number 42780).
Once the first cable has been connected you can then cascade up to a further four cables to
achieve a maximum distance of 56m. The final part of the extension can be any of the four parts
of the Extension Pro System.
If you need to extend more than one port, or if your USB device requires more than 100mA to
operate, then you should use either the 8m or 12m Hub Pro units as the final part of the
extension. Please Note: The 12m Hub Pro unit can only be used at the end of an extension
while the 8m Hub Pro also can be used directly connected to a computer.

If you connect your USB device(s) to the final part of the extension using a standard USB cable,
please ensure that the cable used is no longer than 3m.

Das LINDY USB 2.0 Active Extension Pro System ermöglicht die Überbrückung von USB-
Distanzen bis 56m mit USB 2.0 High Speed-Geschwindigkeit bis zu 480 Mbit/s!
Das USB 2.0 Active Extension Pro System besteht aus 4 verschiedenen Segmenten (jedes
kann einzeln bezogen werden):
° USB 2.0 Aktivverlängerungskabel Pro 8m (LINDY Artikelnummer 42780)
° USB 2.0 Aktivverlängerungshub Pro 8m (LINDY Artikelnummer 42781)

Hinweise zur Benutzung
Bitte beachten Sie, dass nur das USB 2.0 Aktivverlängerungskabel Pro 8m oder der USB
2.0 Aktivverlängerungshub Pro 8m als erstes Segment direkt am Computer
angeschlossen werden kann. Eine Verlängerung, die aus mehreren Segmenten des USB 2.0
Active Extension Pro Systems besteht, muss immer mit dem USB 2.0 Aktivverlängerungskabel
Pro 8m (Lindy Art. Nr. 42780) beginnen.
Nach Anschluss des ersten Kabels können weitere vier Kabel bis zu einer maximalen Distanz
von 56m hintereinander geschaltet werden. Als letztes Segment kann jedes der vier Segmente
des Extension Pro System angeschlossen werden.
Wenn Sie mehr als einen Port verlängern möchten oder wenn der Strombedarf Ihres USB-
Devices über 100mA beträgt, können Sie den 8m oder 12m Hub als letztes Segemnt
verwenden. Der 12m Hub Pro kann nur am Ende einer Verlängerung verwendet werden,
der 8m Hub Pro kann auch als erstes Segment direkt am Computer angeschlossen
werden.

Wenn Sie Ihre USB Devices am Ende der Verlängerung mit einem Standard-USB-Kabel

Le système actif d’extension LINDY USB 2.0 permet la rallonge des distances USB jusqu’à

Le système actif d’extension USB 2.0 se compose de 4 différents segments (chacun peut être
commandé séparément):
° Rallonge active USB 2.0 Pro 8m (LINDY N°Art. 42780)
° Rallonge active USB 2.0 Pro + hub, 8m (LINDY N° Art. 42781)

Notes pour l’utilisation
Notez que seules les rallonges USB actives Pro de 8m ou rallonges USB active Pro de
8m avec hub peuvent être utilisées comme 1er segment. Une rallonge, qui comprend
plusieurs segments de rallonges actives USB 2.0, doit toujours commencer avec la rallonge
active USB 2.0 Pro 8m (Lindy N°Art. 42780).
Après la connexion du 1er câble, 4 autres câbles peuvent être connectés à la suite, soit une
distance maximale de 56m (8 + 12 x 4). Le dernier segment peut être n’importe quelle rallonge
Pro.
Si vous voulez étendre plus qu’un seul port, ou si la consommation de votre périphérique USB
est supérieure à 100mA, vous pouvez utiliser le hub 8m ou 12m comme dernier segment. Le
hub Pro 12m peut être utilisé à la fin d’une rallonge, le hub Pro 8m peut aussi être
connecté au début et à la fin d’une rallonge.

Nota bene: solo la USB 2.0 Active Extension Pro 8m e USB 2.0 Active Extension Hub Pro 8m
possono essere collegate direttamente al computer.
Per creare qualsiasi sistema di estensione con questo Extension Pro System avete sempre
bisogno di utilizzare come prima unità la USB 2.0 Active Extension Pro 8m (Lindy art 42780).
Una volta collegato il primo cavo potete connettere in cascata altre quattro prolunghe per
raggiungere una distanza massima di 56m. L’ultimo segmento deve essere sempre una di
queste prolunghe della serie Extension Pro System.
Se vi occorre più di una porta USB o se il dispositivo USB da estendere richiede più di 100mA
per funzionare, dovrete utilizzare l’Hub Pro da 8m o da 12m come ultimo segmento. Nota bene:
l’Hub Pro da 12m può essere utilizzato solo come ultimo segmento della prolunga mentre la
versione da 8m può anche essere collegata direttamente al computer.

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of
all waste electrical and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away
electrical and electronic equipment. Instead, these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in
slightly different ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any
electrical or electronic products. More details can be obtained from your national WEEE
recycling agency.

Verschrottung und das Recycling von Elektro- und Elektronikprodukten geschaffen. Diese
wurden von der Bundesregierung im Elektro- und Elektronikgerätegesetz – ElektroG in
deutsches Recht umgesetzt. Dieses Gesetz verbietet vom 24.März 2006 an das Entsorgen von,
auch alten, Elektro- und Elektronikgeräten über die Hausmülltonne! Diese Geräte müssen den
lokalen Sammelsystemen bzw. örtlichen Sammelstellen zugeführt werden! Dort werden sie
kostenlos entgegen genommen. Die Kosten für den weiteren Recyclingprozess übernimmt die
Gesamtheit der Gerätehersteller.
