Si su calefactor se apaga inesperadamente o no funciona, el
elemento de seguridad arriba mencionado podría haber sido
activado para evitar el sobrecalentamiento.
1. Asegúrese que el cable eléctrico esté conectado a un
tomacorriente eléctrico en funcionamiento.
2. Verifique la posición de su Termostato. El Calefactor puede
haberse apagado por haber alcanzado la posición de
temperatura deseada.
1. Hay un protector de sobrecarga térmica incorporado para
evitar el sobrecalentamiento.
2. Si se alcanza una temperatura de sobrecalentamiento, el
Calefactor se apagará automáticamente.Sólo podrá retomar
el funcionamiento cuando el usuario reinicie la unidad.
Para Reiniciar el Calefactor:
1. Desconecte el Calefactor y espere 10 minutos hasta que la
Unidad se enfríe.
2. Después que el Calefactor se haya enfriado, conecte
la unidad a un tomacorriente eléctrico de 120V~ y siga
las instrucciones de funcionamiento descriptas en este
manual.

It is not intended to be used in commercial, industrial or agricultural settings.

calefactor.

- NUNCA intente desarmar el Calefactor.

limpiadores duros.

the slight movement of the attached cord.Receptacles
in this condition may overheat and pose a serious fire
hazard;if covered by a curtain or drape, the fire hazard

IONIZER: (Figure 4)
The ionizer function on this Heater will operated within any speed
mode. Press the Ionizer Button once to turn this function on and
a second time to turn it off. The Heater must be ON for the ionizer
to be functional. When the ionizer is turned on this will assist in the
purification of the room air.
4. The Heater will “beep” when initially plugged in.
5. Turn the Heater ON by pressing the Power Button.
6. When initially turned on, the Heater will display the current
room temperature in ° Fahrenheit. Press the ( ) and ( ) but-
tons at the same time to change the display to ° Celsius. Press
the same two buttons together again will change the display back
to ° Fahrenheit.
7. Upon turning the Heater on, the unit will be in HIGH heat (1500
Watts) and will display the current room temperature (Figure 1)
8. Press the Mode button for LOW heat (750 Watts).
9. See Thermostat section for Automatic Control instructions.
10.To turn the Heater OFF, press the Power Button and unplug the

Louver Function

9. Para desconectar el Calefactor, APAGUE el Calefactor y luego retire el enchufe del tomacorriente.

13. Siempre coloque el Calefactor sobre una superficie estable, lisa y nivelada mientras esté en funcionamiento para evitar la posibilidad de
que el Calefactor se sobrecaliente. Ubique el Cable Eléctrico de modo tal que el Calefactor u otros objetos no estén encima de él. NO
coloque el Cable Eléctrico debajo de alfombras. NO cubra el Cable Eléctrico con alfombrillas, alfombras de protección o similares.Coloque
el Cable Eléctrico lejos del paso de las personas en la habitación y donde no exista la posibilidad de que alguien se tropiece con el mismo.
14. Este Calefactor está CALIENTE cuando está en funcionamiento. Para evitar quemaduras, no permita que la piel desnuda toque las
superficies calientes. Siempre use la agarradera cuando traslade este Calefactor. Mantenga los materiales combustibles, tales como
muebles, almohadas, ropa de cama, papeles, vestimenta y cortinas por lo menos a 3 pies (0.9 m) del frente del Calefactor y manténgalos
por lo menos a 1 pie (0.3 m) de los costados y de la parte trasera.
TheTimer Function may be activated when the Heater is in any speed
or temperature. This function allows you to set the length of time the
Heater will run before turning itself off, from 1 hour to 7 hours. Press-
ing the Timer Button will increase the length of time, in combinations
of 1, 2 and 4 hours. Continuously pressing the button will result in
the timer being set for 7 hours. The Heater will turn off when the set
time has elasped. The unit can be turned back on by pressing the
Power Button.

REMOTE CONTROL: (Figure 6)
All the functions performed with the Remote Control work identically
to the manual controls.
1. Install the two “AAA” batteries supplied.
2. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard
(carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
3. DO NOT DISPOSE OF BATTERIES IN FIRE. BATTERIES MAY
EXPLODE OR LEAK.

17. NO use Calefactores al aire libre.
18. Cuando use el control remoto de su televisor u otro equipamiento, verifique para controlar que no encienda el Calefactor también.

THERMOSTAT:
Pressing the ( ) or ( ) button allows you to set the desired tem-
perature of the room. For increased efficiency, the Thermostat will
only run in High heat. (Figure 3)
1. Press the ( ) to increase the desired set temperature or press the
( ) to decrease the desired set temperature.

TROUBLE SHOOTING TIPS
1. A thermal overload protector is built in to prevent over-
heating.
2. If an overheat temperature is reached, the Heater will be
automatically shut off. It can only resume operation when
the user resets the unit.
If your heater shuts off unexpectedly or fails to operate, the
previously mentioned safety feature may have been activated
to prevent overheating.
1. Be sure the power cord is plugged into a working electrical
outlet.
2. Check your Thermostat setting. The Heater may be off
because it has reached the desired temperature setting.
To Reset Heater:
1. Unplug the Heater and wait 10 minutes for the Heater to
cool down.
2. After the Heater has cooled down, plug the unit into a
120V~ electrical outlet and follow the operation instructions
described in this manual.
