INSTALLING FRONT ANTI-TIPPERS
(FIGURE 1)
The following recommendations are made for safe in-
stallation and adjustment of the Front Anti-tippers:
NOTE: Refer to the INSTALLATION WARNINGS in
the SAFETY SUMMARY of this instruction sheet.
GENERAL WARNINGS
DO NOT insta ll or use this kit without first re a ding

1. Remove the locknuts and the lug bolts from the anti-
tipper bracket clamps.
2. Positiontheanti-tipperbracketclampoverthewheel-
chair frame behind the front caster as shown in FIG-
URE 1.
NOTE: Position the anti-tipper arm on the outside of
the wheelchair as shown in FIGURE 1.
INSTALLATION WARNINGS

ma y oc c ur.
3. Squeezebracketclampstogetherandinsertthebolts.
4. Installthelocknutsontothelugbolts. Tightensecurely.
5. Repeat STEPS 1-4 on the opposite side of the
wheelchair for the remaining anti-tipper.
6. Measure from the floor to the bottom of the wheels of
the triangular assembly.

swing front riggings a side a nd/or flip up footpla tes
so the y a re out of the wa y BEFORE pla c ing fe e t
firmly on the floor whe n e nte ring or e xiting the
whe e lc ha ir. This will pe rmit individua ls to sta nd
c lose to front e dge of the se a t a nd lowe r him-
se lf/he rse lf we ll e nough ba c k onto the se a t.
7. Perform one (1) of the following:
TRIANGULAR ASSEMBLY 3/4-INCH FROM
FLOOR - Repeat STEPS 1-2 for the opposite tri-
angular assembly.
TRIANGULAR ASSEMBLY NOT 3/4-INCH
FROM FLOOR - Adjust the height of the triangular
assemblies.RefertoADJUSTINGFRONTANTI-TIP-
PERS in this instruction sheet.
