33-1180 Stereo Headphones and Earbuds
OWNER'S MANUAL — Please read before using this equipment.
Your RadioShack 2 Cool Personal Listen-
ing Gift Pack contains two quality head-
phones—one for home and one for on
the go.
LISTENING SAFELY
To protect your hearing, follow these guide-
lines when you use headphones.
• Set the volume at the lowest setting
before you begin listening. After you
begin listening, adjust the volume to a
comfortable level.
Closed cup ear cushions with adjust-
able headband provide better isolation
and deep bass performance.
•
Ultra lightweight earbuds with wind-up
carrying case for convenient storage.
• Do not listen at extremely high volume
levels. Extended high-volume listening
can lead to permanent hearing loss.
•
Your local Radio Shack store has a full
line of adapters, splitters, replacement ear
pads, and cable extensions to enhance
your enjoyment of your headphones.
• Once you set the volume, do not
increase it. Over time, your ears adapt
to the volume level, so a volume level
that does not cause discomfort might
still damage your hearing.
OPERATION
Traffic Safety
Caution: Turn down the volume on the
sound source you plan to use before
plugging in the headphone.
Do not wear headphones while operating a
motor vehicle or riding a bicycle. This can
create a traffic hazard and could be illegal in
some areas.
1/8
Note: Both headphones have
-inch
(3.5 mm) stereo plugs. To connect them
to ¼-inch (6.35 mm) stereo output jacks,
use an adapter (available at your local
Radio Shack store).
Even though some headphones let you hear
some outside sounds when listening at nor-
mal volume levels, they still can present a
traffic hazard.
1.
Insert the headphone plug into the
EARPHONE (or similarly marked
output jack) on your sound source.
2.
Adjust the headband for the best fit,
or place the earbuds in your ears.
