Screen Mesh Doors
These doors have been tested for use with the Carolina Outdoor Gas Fireplace. Check with your local building code
agency before you begin installation to ensure compliance with local codes, including the need for permits and follow-up
inspections. If you encounter any problems regarding code approvals, or if you need clarification of any of the instruc-

CAUTION! Risk of Cuts, Abrasions or Flying Debris.
Wear protective gloves and safety glasses during installa-
tion. Sheet metal edges are sharp.

1. Remove left and right screen assemblies, lay aside or
discard.
WARNING
HOT SURFACES!
Screens and other surfaces are hot
during operation and cool down.
Hot screens will cause burns.
• Do not touch fireplace until it is
cooled
• NEVER allow children to touch
fireplace
• Keep children away
• CAREFULLY SUPERVISE children in same area as
fireplace.
2. Remove hole plugs and discard.
• Alert children and adults to hazards of high
temperatures.
High temperatures may ignite clothing or other
flammable materials.
• Keep clothing, furniture, draperies and other
combustibles away.

8. Attach door latch. Align the two holes in the door latch
with the two predrilled holes in the bottom center firebox.
Attach with the two screws provided in fastener pack.
11. Shut and lock doors: Slide the left door handle to the
left, shut door and slide handle to the right to lock. Slide
right door handle to the right, shut door and slide handle
to left to lock.

9. Close doors to check alignment (small gap between).
10.Door adjustment: Open doors and loosen the two screws
on the hinges. Slide to adjust door up and down. Tighten
screws. You may have to adjust all hinges.
