Connecting and charging
The toothbrush is electrically safe and can
be used in the bathroom without hesitation.
• Plug the charging unit into an electrical
outlet. Place the handle on the charging
unit. Handle must be switched off.
• A full charge takes 16 hours and will
provide an operation time of approximately
20 minutes.
• For everyday use, the handle can be
stored on the plugged-in charging unit
to maintain the toothbrush at full power.
Overcharging is impossible.
Battery maintenance
To maintain the maximum capacity of the
rechargeable battery, you must discharge it at
least once every 6 months. To do this, unplug
the charging unit and allow the battery to run
down with normal use.
Using the toothbrush
The toothbrush can be used with any tooth-
paste.
• To avoid splashing, guide the brushhead to
your teeth before switching the appliance
on.
• Slowly guide the brushhead from tooth
to tooth, spending a few seconds on each
tooth surface.
• Brush the gums as well as the teeth, first
the outsides, then the insides and finally
the chewing surfaces.
• Do not press too hard or scrub, simply
let the brush do all the work.
• To thoroughly remove plaque, brush for
at least two minutes.
During the first days of using the toothbrush,
your gums may bleed slightly. In general,
bleeding should stop after a few days.
Should it persist after two weeks, please
consult your dentist or hygienist.
Dentists recommend that you replace any
toothbrush every 3 months. Therefore, the
brushhead is provided with INDICATOR®
bristles (I.a). With proper brushing twice a
day for two minutes, the color will disappear
half-way down the bristles in a 3-month
period (I.b), provided you use toothpaste.
If the bristles splay before the color recedes
(I.c), you are exerting too much pressure
on teeth and gums.

Available at retail stores or Braun Service
Centers.
Cleaning
After use, rinse the brushhead for several
seconds under running water with the handle
switched on (II). Then switch off the handle
and take off the brushhead. Rinse both parts
separately under running water (III) and wipe
them dry.
From time to time, also clean the charging
unit with a damp cloth (IV).
Environmental notice
This product contains nickel-
cadmium rechargeable batteries.
In the interest of protecting the
environment, do not dispose of the
product in the household waste at
the end of its useful life. Disposal
can take place at a Braun Service
Center.
However, if you prefer to dispose of the
battery yourself, please refer to the section
«Battery removal».

Branchement et chargement
La brosse à dents peut être utilisé en toute
sécurité dans la salle de bain.
• Brancher la base de charge sur une prise
de courant. Placer la poignée sur la base
de charge. La poignée doit être éteinte.
• Il faut 16 heures pour une charge
complète, après laquelle vous disposez
d’une durée d’utilisation d’environ
20 minutes.
• Pour une utilisation quotidienne, la
poignée peut rester en position de charge
pour
que la brosse à dents conserve sa pleine
capacité. Il n’y a aucun risque de
surcharge.
Entretien des piles
Pour maintenir la pleine capacité des piles
rechargeables, débrancher la base de
charge, décharger la poignée en l’utilisant
régulièrement, puis recharger complètement.
Cette procédure devrait être répété au moins
tous les six mois.
Utilisation de la brosse à dents
Ce produit peut être utilisé avec toute marque
de dentifrice.
• Pour éviter les éclaboussures, poser
la tête de brosse sur les dents avant de
mettre l’appareil en marche.
• Déplacer doucement la tête de brosse
d’une dent à l’autre maintenant la brosse
en place pendant quelques secondes
sur chaque dent.
• Brosser les gencives aussi bien que les

puis les surfaces intérieures, et enfin les
surfaces de mastication.
• Ne pas appuyer trop fort ni frotter,
laisser tout simplement la brosse agir.
• Pour éliminer complètement la plaque
dentaire, brosser vos dents au moins deux
minutes.
Lors des premières utilisations de la brosse
à dents, les gencives peuvent saigner
légèrement. Ce saignement devrait s’arrêter
après quelques jours. S’il persiste après
deux semaines, consulter le dentiste ou
l’hygiéniste.
Les dentistes recommandent de changer
de brosse à dents tous les trois mois.
C’est pourquoi la têt®e de brosse est pourvue
de soies INDICATOR (I.a). Lorsque le bros-
sage est fait correctement, deux fois par jour
pendant deux minutes, la couleur des soies
INDICATOR s’estompe à mi-hauteur sur une
période de trois mois (I.b).
Si les soies s’écrasent avant que la couleur
ne s’estompe (I.c), cela indique que vous
exercez une pression trop importante sur vos

Entretien
Après usage, mettre l’appareil en marche et
rincer minutieusement la tête de brosse sous

parties séparément sous l’eau courante (III),
puis les sécher.
De temps en temps, nettoyer également la
base de charge à l’aide d’un linge humide
(IV).

La total resistencia al agua del cepillo
eléctrico lo hace especialmente indicado

• Conecte el cargador a una salida de

apagada.
• El cepillo tardará 16 horas en cargarse

• Puede dejar el cepillo en el cargador
conectado permanentemente de forma
que se mantenga con la carga completa
para su utilización diaria. Es imposible
que llegue a sobrecargarse.
Mantenimiento de la batería
Para mantener la capacidad máxima de la
batería recargable, desconecte el cargador
y deje que el cepillo se descargue con el
uso diario. Luego cargue nuevamente para
máxima capacidad. Este proceso se debe
realizar cada 6 meses.
Utilización del cepillo eléctrico
Este aparato puede ser utilizado con cual-
quier tipo de pasta dentífrica convencional.
• Con el fin de evitar salpicaduras, conecte
la unidad de carga una vez introducido
el cepillo en la boca.
• Guíe el cabezal del cepillo lentamente de
diente a diente, manteniéndolo en la super-
ficie de cada diente durante unos segun-
dos antes de desplazarlo al siguiente.
• Cepille las encías al igual que los dientes,

interior y finalmente la superficie.

dos veces al día durante dos minutos, el
color desaparecerá hasta la mitad de las
cerdas al cabo de un período de 3 meses,
siempre y cuando utilice pasta de dientes
(l.b).
En el caso de que los filamentos se deformen
antes de que el color desaparezca (I.c),
significa que está ejerciendo demasiada
presión sobre los dientes y las encías.
Cabezales de recambio
Están disponibles en tiendas de Super-
mercados y en cualquier Centro de Servicio
Braun.
Limpieza
Después de utilizarlo, aclare el cabezal
bajo agua corriente durante varios segundos
con la unidad de carga conectada (II).
A continuación, desconecte el aparato
y retire el cabezal de la unidad de carga.
Aclare ambas partes de forma separada bajo
agua corriente (III) y séquelas.
De vez en cuando, el cargador deberá ser
limpiado con un paño húmedo (IV).

recargables de níquel-cadmio.
Para preservar el medio ambiente,
no tire este producto a la basura al
final de su vida útil. Puede entregarlo
en un Centro de Servicio Braun o
en lugares de recogida apropiados.

Braun concede a este producto dos años
de garantía desde la fecha de compra.
Dentro del período de garantía,

En caso de envío por paquetería, la fecha
