1. Bioethanol als Brennstoff

– Was ist das?

Bioethanol wird aus nachwachsenden pflanzlichen Roh-

stoffen wie stärke-, zellulose- oder zuckerhaltige Pflanzen

bzw. Pflanzenabfällen hergestellt. Häufig wird als Neben-

produkt noch hochwertiges Futtermittel gewonnen.

Bioethanol ist der Brennstoff der Zukunft. Bioethanol hat

eine hervorragende Umweltbilanz und verhält sich CO2

neutral, da es bei der Verbrennung nur soviel CO2 frei-

setzt wie es vorher durch die Pflanzen von der Luft auf-

genommen hat.

1.1 Spezifikation des Bioethanols

Ihre Bioethanol Feuerstelle darf ausschließlich mit hoch-

wertigem Bioethanol betrieben werden. Wir empfehlen

stets blomus Bioethanol, z.B. Art.-Nr. 31034, zu ver-

wenden welches speziell auf alle blomus Feuerstellen ab-

gestimmt ist und mit einer kräftigen, nahezu rußfreien

und warmen Flamme brennt. Original blomus Bioethanol,

Art.-Nr. 31034, erhalten Sie im gutsortierten Fachhan-

del oder unter www.blomus.com.

Original blomus Bioethanol besteht aus:

- ca. 96% Bioethanol

- 1 % MEK (Vergällungsmittel)

- ca. 4 % Wasser

- Bitrex (1g/100 l)

2. Sicherheitshinweise:

Ihre blomus Bioethanol Feuerstelle ist ausschließlich zum

Verbrennen von Bioethanol geeignet. Benutzen Sie nie-

mals anderen Brennstoff als hochwertiges Bioethanol.

Bei der Feuerstelle handelt es sich um eine Dekorations-

Feuerstelle mit echter Flamme. Die Feuerstelle ist nicht

als Raumheizung geeignet.

Zu dieser Anleitung

Modell 65333 ist auch für den Einsatz im Außenbereich

geeignet. Bitte bei Lagerung und Gebrauch unbedingt vor

Nässe/Feuchtigkeit schützen. Für die kurzzeitige Lage-

rung im Außenbereich empfehlen wir die blomus Schutz-

hülle 65338.

Lesen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme diese Bedienungsanleitung

und Sicherheitshinweise aufmerksam und benutzen Sie

den Artikel wie in dieser Anleitung beschrieben, damit es

nicht versehentlich zu Verletzungen oder Schäden

kommt.

Die Feuerstelle darf ausschließlich in ausreichend gro-

ßen, geschlossenen und gut durchlüfteten Räumen be-

trieben werden und ist für den Gebrauch im privaten

Haushalt konzipiert.

Nationale und örtliche Vorschriften und Bestimmungen

müssen bei Aufbau und Betrieb der Feuerstelle beachtet

und erfüllt werden. Gleiches gilt für die Lagerung von Bio-

Ethanol, der als Brennstoff zwingend vorgeschrieben ist.

Ausreichende Lüftung vorausgesetzt dürfen die Feuer-

stellen nur in Räumen betrieben werden, die folgende

Mindestgrößen aufweisen:

Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung zum späteren Nachlesen

auf. Bei Weitergabe des Artikels ist auch diese Anleitung

mitzugeben.

Nur Modell 65330: Mindestraumvolumen von 50 m³,

was einer Raumgröße von ca. 4 x 5 m bei einer Raum-

höhe von 2,5 m entspricht.

WICHTIGER HINWEIS:

Das Signalwort GEFAHR warnt vor möglichen schweren

Verletzungen und Lebensgefahr

Modelle 65331 und 65333: Mindestraumvolumen von

70 m³, was einer Raumgröße von ca. 5 x 5,5 m bei

einer Raumhöhe von 2,5 m entspricht.

schweren Sachschäden

Es dürfen keine brennbaren Materialien oder Gegen-

Fachen Sie das Feuer niemals an (Stichflammenbildung).

Lagern Sie Bioethanol ausschließlich in einem geschlos-

senen und dafür geeigneten Behälter. Der Lagerort

muss kühl und lichtgeschützt außerhalb der Reichweite

von Kindern und Tieren sein. Bioethanol niemals direkter

Sonneneinstrahlung bzw. Wärmequellen aussetzen. La-

gern Sie nie mehr als 5 l Bioethanol in Ihrer Wohnung.

Bioethanol ist leicht brennbar. Beachten Sie nationale

Vorschriften und örtliche Bestimmungen für die Lage-

rung von Bioethanol.

Gefahr für Kinder und Tiere

Halten Sie Kinder und Haustiere von der Feuerstelle fern

und halten Sie einen Mindestabstand von 0,50 m zum

angezündeten Feuer ein.

Bewahren Sie Bioethanol für Kinder und Tiere unzugäng-

lich auf.

Halten Sie Kinder vom Verpackungsmaterial fern. Es be-

steht u. a. Erstickungsgefahr.

Bewegungen im Wirkungsbereich der Flammen sind zu

vermeiden.

Warnung vor Erstickung

Bioethanol Feuerstellen nutzen den Sauerstoff der Raum-

luft für die Verbrennung. Achten Sie daher auf eine aus-

reichende Frischluftzufuhr während des Gebrauchs,

wobei Zugluft unbedingt vermieden werden muss. Ein ge-

kipptes Fenster reicht oftmals für eine ausreichende Be-

lüftung schon aus. Plötzliche Müdigkeit und mangelnde

Konzentration sind ein erstes mögliches Anzeichen für

einen Sauerstoffmangel.

Warnung vor sonstigen gesundheitlichen Schäden

Vermeiden Sie direkten Kontakt mit Bioethanol (Augen,

Haut, Schleimhäute). Atmen Sie Bioethanol-Dämpfe nicht

ein.

Achten Sie außerdem auf die Warn- und Sicherheitshin-

weise auf dem Bioethanol-Behälter.

Warnung vor Brand und Verbrennungen

Gefahr von Verletzungen

Betreiben Sie die Feuerstelle niemals unbeaufsichtigt. In

einem Umkreis von mindestens 1 m dürfen sich keine

brennbaren Gegenstände befinden (Vorhänge, Möbel,

Lampen, Dekoration, etc.). Stellen Sie keine Gegen-

stände auf die Feuerstelle oder auf Teile der Feuerstelle.

Wenn Sie die Feuerstelle auf dem Boden platzieren ach-

ten Sie darauf, dass sich die Feuerstelle nicht in direkten

Laufwegen befindet. Stolpergefahr!

Vorsicht Sachschäden

Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen keine scharfen Chemika-

lien, Benzin, Terpentin, aggressive oder scheuerndes

Reinigungsmittel.

Ggfs. am Gerät befindliche Öffnungen/Lüftungsschlitze

müssen immer frei sein.

Während und nach dem Gebrauch ist die komplette Feu-

erstelle sehr heiß. Lassen Sie die Feuerstelle mind. 15

Min. abkühlen bevor Sie diese berühren.

3. Mindestraumvolumen und Mindest-

luftwechsel im Raum

Platzieren Sie die Feuerstelle ausschließlich auf einem fe-

sten Untergrund aus nicht brennbarem Material (z. B.

Steinböden, Fliesen, etc.). Die Feuerstelle darf nicht der

direkten Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesetzt sein.

Alle blomus Feuerstellen werden vom TÜV SÜD Industrie

Service hinsichtlich aktueller Sicherheits-, Emissions- und

Brennvorschriften überprüft. Dabei wurden folgende Er-

gebnisse ermittelt:

Feuerstelle nur in einem gegen Querströmung geschütz-

ten Bereich benutzen.

• Die in der Bayerischen Feuerungsverordnung

(BayFeuV) angegebene maximale Kohlenmon-

oxidkonzentration (CO) von 30 ppm in Aufstellräu-

men wird bei den unten genannten Raumgrößen

und Luftwechselraten unterschritten.

Nehmen Sie keine Veränderung an der Feuerstelle vor.

Befüllen Sie die Brennkammer nur im komplett abgekühl-

ten Zustand durch die Befüllöffnung.

• Eine maximale Kohlendioxidkonzentration (CO2) von

5.000 ppm in Aufstellräumen wird bei den unten

genannten Raumgrößen und Luftwechselraten unter-

schritten.

Zünden Sie das eingefüllte Bioethanol niemals direkt an.

Gehen Sie immer so vor wie in dieser Anleitung beschrie-

ben.

• Bei maximalem Betrieb der Feuerstellen wurden die

maximal zulässigen Temperaturen von 85°C auf be-

nachbarte Bauteile bei Aufstellung gem. dieser

Anleitung unterschritten.

Löschen Sie das Feuer in der Feuerstelle ausschließlich

über die blomus Flammenregulierung.

Löschen Sie das Feuer niemals mit Wasser oder durch

Ausblasen (Stichflammenbildung!)

• Der maximal zulässige Brennstoffdurchsatz von

0,5 l/h wurde nicht überschritten

Rauchen, essen oder trinken Sie nicht, wenn Sie Bioet-

hanol einfüllen.

• Ein maximaler CO2-Gehalt in der Raumluft von 5.000

ppm wird unter folgenden Voraussetzungen bei einem

Abbrand nicht überschritten:

6.1: Bioethanol einfüllen

Verbrennungsgefahr! Betreiben Sie die Feuerstelle aus-

schließlich mit blomus Bioethanol, z.B. Art.-Nr. 31034.

Zu Brennbeginn und gegen Brennende kann sich die

Flamme blau verfärben und ist daher schlecht sicht-

bar. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Flamme mind. 15

Minuten erloschen ist und der Brenner komplett abge-

kühlt ist bevor Sie den Brenner befüllen

4. Halten Sie den angezün-

deten Anzündstab, wie abge-

hanol im Brenner an. Wenn

die Flamme erlischt, müssen

Sie den Vorgang wiederholen. Nach ca. 15 Minuten hat

der Brenner seine Betriebstemperatur erreicht.

Flammenregulierung vollständig die Brenneröffnung.

Falls die Flamme wieder erlischt:

1. Bioethanol benötigt im kühlen Zustand oft mehrere

Zündversuche, bis die Flamme gleichmäßig und dauer-

haft brennt. Wiederholen Sie ggfs. das Entzünden wie

zuvor unter dem Kapitel 6.2 „Entzünden“ beschrieben.

3. Stellen Sie den Messbecher samt Trichter und Bioet-

hanol Behälter verschlossen und in ausreichender Entfer-

nung zur Feuerstelle ab (mind. 1 m Entfernung).

2. Wenn das Bioethanol bereits längere Zeit im Brenner

lagert, verschlechtert sich die Zündfähigkeit des Bioetha-

nols (In Abhängigkeit von Temperatur, Luftfeuchtigkeit,

etc. reichen schon wenige Stunden aus, bis ein Teil des

Ethanols verdunstet ist). Warten Sie nach den Zündver-

suchen einige Minuten und vergewissern Sie sich, dass

die Flamme vollständig erloschen ist. Entsorgen Sie das

im Brenner befindliche Bioethanol, z. B. indem Sie es in

ein leeres Bioethanol Behältnis zurück giessen. Das Bio-

ethanol darf nicht über das Abwasser entsorgt werden

(Toilette, Waschbecken, Abfluß, etc.). Das Behältnis mit

dem zurückgefüllten Bioethanol kann bei Ihrer kommuna-

len Entsorgungsstelle fachgerecht entsorgt werden.

6.2: Entzünden:

WARNUNG: Brand- und Verbrennungsgefahr!

Zünden Sie das eingefüllte Bioethanol niemals direkt an.

Entzünden Sie den Brenner nur, wenn er bis zur Füll-

standsmarkierung mit Bioethanol gefüllt ist.

Brenner unmittelbar nach dem Befüllen entzünden.

6.3: Nachfüllen:

Gießen Sie niemals Bioethanol in das noch brennende

Feuer oder in die Feuerstelle, wenn diese nach dem Ge-

brauch noch heiß ist!

1. Warten Sie, bis das Feuer vollständig erloschen ist

oder löschen Sie das Feuer mit der blomus Flammenre-

gulierung (siehe Kapitel 6.4 „Löschen“).

2. Tauchen Sie die geriffelte

Spitze des Anzündstabes in

das eingefüllte Bioethanol

und lassen Sie diese über

dem Brenner abtropfen

bar. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Flamme komplett

erloschen ist und lassen Sie die Feuerstelle vor dem

Wiederbefüllen dann mindestens 15 Minuten abkühlen.

3. Zum Befüllen gehen Sie bitte vor wie unter

Kapitel 6.1 „Bioethanol einfüllen“ beschrieben.

6.4: Löschen:

1. Warten Sie nach dem Erlöschen der Flamme minde-

stens 15 Minuten, bis der Brenner komplett abgekühlt

ist.

Löschen Sie das Feuer niemals durch Ausblasen (Stich-

flammengefahr!)

Lassen Sie den Brenner möglichst so lange brennen, bis

das Bioethanol komplett verbraucht ist. Sie verhindern

so eine mögliche Verpuffung beim Wiederanzünden und

Alkoholgeruch im Raum. Um das Feuer zu löschen

gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

3. Reinigen Sie den Brenner von innen und außen regel-

mäßig mit warmem Wasser und etwas pH-neutralen

Sollte der Versuch erfolglos bleiben, lassen Sie den Bren-

ner bei geschlossenem Brennerverschluß weiterbrennen

und warten Sie ca. 5 – 10 Minuten. Wiederholen Sie

dann den Vorgang des „Flamme abschlagens“ wie zuvor

beschrieben. Bleibt auch dieser Versuch erfolglos, las-

sen Sie den Brenner bei geöffneter Brenneröffnung kom-

plett leer brennen.

technische und optische Veränderungen am Produkt vor.

10. Entsorgung

Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung sortenrein. Wenn Sie sich

von dem Artikel trennen möchten, entsorgen Sie ihn zu

den aktuellen Bestimmungen. Auskunft erteilt die kom-

munale Entsorgungsstelle.

Geeignete Löschmittel im Brandfall sind alkoholbeständi-

ger Löschschaum oder Kohlendioxid. Bewahren Sie

duct. Bio-ethanol is the fuel of the future. It is environ-

mentally friendly and CO2 neutral as it, when burning,

releases only as much CO2 as are absorbed by the

plants used for it.

1.1 Specification of bio-ethanol

Only use bio-ethanol fuel in your fireplace. We recom-

mend you use blomus bio-ethanol (i.e. item no 31034)

developed for blomus fireplaces. It produces a strong,

odourless, soot-free and warm flame. blomus bio-ethanol

is available from most blomus retailers.

In USA, Canada, Sweden and Australia bio-ethanol is

also called by other names such as: denatured alcohol,

methylated spirits, white spirits & hydrous ethyl alcohol.

to as ‘bio-ethanol’. If you are unsure which fuel is suitable

please contact your local blomus dealer.

About this manual

This Manual provides a guide to the correct and safe in-

stallation, use and maintenance of the fireplace.

Please read the entire safety and operating instructions

prior to using the product. Operate the product only as

described herein to prevent possible damage and/or in-

jury resulting from improper use.

2. Safety Information

The Safety and Operating parameters in this manual

comply with the tested operational safety conditions sti-

pulated by the TÜV SÜD Industry Services as part of

their Safety Certification of VIDRO fireplaces. These in-

structions must therefore always be strictly adhered to.

Your blomus bio-ethanol fireplace is only intended to use

bio-ethanol as fuel. Never use any other fuel than bio-

ethanol. The fireplace is designed as a decorative fire-

place with a real flame. Although it produces gentle

warmth it is not intended as a room heater.

Keep these instructions for further reference. In case

this product is given to someone else, these instructions

must be included.

IMPORTANT ADVICE

Throughout this manual the word:

DANGER is used to highlight potential fatal injury and/or

danger of life,

It is made for domestic in-door use only. Item no. 65333

may also be used outdoors. Do not expose the fireplace

to wet conditions. If you leave the fireplace outside we

recommend the use of the protective cover 65338.

WARNING is used to highlight potential injury and/or

free, well ventilated rooms with the minimum sizes, pro-

viding sufficient ventilation as follows:

ATTENTION is used to highlight potential slight injury

Unit 65330: Minimum volume of 50 m³ (1766 cu.ft.),

equalling an approximate area of 4 x 5 m (13 x 16.5 ft)

with a ceiling of 2.5 m (8.2 ft)

Any applicable national and/or regional government poli-

cies regulating the use, installation and operation of bio-

ethanol fireplaces must be recognised and adhered to. If

necessary, check with your insurance company, local city

and/or building authorities to ensure this type of decora-

tive fireplaces complies with local codes and regulations.

Any regulations governing the storage of bio-ethanol fuel

used to operate the blomus fireplace must also be com-

plied with.

Unit 65331 and 65333: Minimum volume of 70 m³

(2472 cu.ft.), equalling an approximate area of 5 x 5.5

m (16.5 x 18 ft) with a ceiling of 2.5 m (8.2 ft)

No flammable material or item must be placed on or di-

rectly around the fireplace.

No cooking devices or any other item must be placed on

the opening of the burner or suspended over the flame.

The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any da-

mages to property or people resulting from incorrect

handling of the product.

Do not prepare food in the flame.

DANGER for children and animals

Bio-ethanol must only be stored in a suitable container

with airtight lid. Store it in a cool place with no direct

sunlight and keep it out of the reach of children and

pets. Bio-ethanol is highly flammable. Never expose bio-

ethanol to direct sunlight or sources of heat. Never

store more than 5 litres (1.3 gallons) of bio-ethanol in

your apartment. Always comply with federal, state

and/or local regulations.

Keep children and pets away from the fireplace and

maintain a minimum safety distance of 0.5 m (1.64 ft)

from the burning flame.

Bio-ethanol must be stored in a safe place with no ac-

cess to children and pets.

Keep children and pets away from packaging material

due to the risk of suffocation.

WARNING of suffocation

Avoid any movement within the range of the flame.

As Bio-ethanol fireplaces use oxygen from the room air

when in operation, always keep the room sufficiently ven-

tilated, but avoid draughts. A slightly opened window

often provides sufficient ventilation. If you experience

sudden fatigue and lack of concentration, it may indicate

a possible lack of oxygen.

Never try to move the fireplace:

• while it is burning or,

• if extinguished, it is still hot or,

• if any unused bio-ethanol remains in the burner.

WARNING of other potential damage to your health

Avoid direct contact with ethanol (eyes, skin and mu-

cosa). Do not inhale the vapours of bio-ethanol.

Please read and carefully follow the additional instructi-

ons and safety information on the bio-ethanol container.

Never leave a fireplace unattended when in operation.

No flammable material must be placed within 1m (3.3 ft)

of the fireplace (eg. curtains, furniture, lamps or decora-

tive items). Do not place any material or item onto the fi-

replace or any part of it.

Risk of damages to property

Never use aggressive cleaning agents such as chemi-

cals, fuel, turpentine or cleaning powder for cleaning.

Any openings of the fireplace must be kept clear at all

times.

The unit becomes very hot while in operation. Never

touch the unit while it operates. Allow it to cool off for at

least 15 minutes before touching it.

3. Minimum room volumes and air

change rates

All blomus fireplaces have been tested by the TÜV SÜD

Industry services in regards to the most current safety,

emission and burning regulations.

The fireplace must only be operated on a solid surface of

non-flammable material, such as tiles or stone. The fire-

place must not be exposed to direct sunlight.

The following results have been confirmed:

Fireplaces must only be installed in an area protected

against cross flow draught.

• The actual test results in the below mentioned room

sizes and air change rates fall below highest allowed con-

centration of carbon monoxide (CO) of 30 ppm (in accor-

dance with the Bayerische Feuerverord-nung BayFeuV).

Never change or modify any part of your fireplace, or of

any fireplace.

Only fill the burner when it is completely cooled off as

described in this manual.

• The actual test results in the below mentioned room

sizes and air change rates fall below highest allowed con-

centration of carbon dioxide (CO2) of 5,000 ppm

Never ignite the bio-ethanol in the burner container di-

rectly. Always follow these instructions.

• The test in accordance with these instructions proved

that the actual temperature of the fireplace passed on

to neighbouring items falls below the allowed tempera-

ture of 85°C (185 F)

The flame must be extinguished only by using the regula-

ting lever.

Never extinguish the flame with water. Never try to blow

out the flame (Danger of splashing bio-ethanol and dar-

ting flame!)

• The maximum allowed fuel flow-rate of 0.5 litres

(16.9 fl.oz.) per hour is not exceeded.

Do not smoke, eat or drink when handling bio-ethanol.

Never use the fireplace without the safety basin and

avoid draughts around the fireplace.

• A maximum CO2 content of 5,000 ppm in the air is

not exceeded if the following is provided:

4. Fit the burner cover onto

the opening. Make sure the

brushed side faces up.

5. Assembly and mounting

5.1 Choosing the best place and surface to install

the fireplace.

Please check if the designated room and surface is suit-

able to operate the fireplace as follows:

• The room must have the minimum airspace volume as

detailed in paragraph 3.

• Check if the room has adequate ventilation openings

and consider the required air changes as detailed in pa-

ragraph 3.

5. Check that the lever ope-

rates the flame regulator so

it slides smoothly, and opens

and closes completely.

• Position the fireplace on a suitable surface ensuring

that a minimum safety distance of 1 m (3.3 ft) from any

flammable material can always be maintained. Consider

also that curtains and drapes may wave when a window

is opened.

6. Carefully fit the two glass

sections into the two slots

provided. Make sure the

rounded edges face up.

• 65333 ONLY: This unit with 4 glass screens can be

used with caution on a protected patio away from direct

sunlight. Use in mild weather with only a slight breeze.

• Is the designated surface heat resistant? Synthetic

flooring, wood, laminate, carpet, PVC, fabric or other

non heat resistant surfaces may not be suitable.

• The surface must be level.

• A table must be of sturdy construction and stand

squarely on the floor without any tendency to shake or

wobble. The fireplace should stand within the perimeter

of a table – it should not overlap the edge of the table.

• Is the surface strong enough? The filled fireplace

weights up to 20 kg (44 lb).

7. Unit 65333: Carefully fit the four glass sections into

the four slots provided. Make sure the rounded edges

face up.

8. Assembly is complete if the burner cover fits tightly

into the opening and the opening and closing mechanism

works smoothly and completely.

6. Operating the fireplace

WARNING! Risk of suffocation!

Make sure there is sufficient ventilation while the pro-

duct is in use (open windows). Refer to paragraph 3. If

you exper-ience sudden fatigue and lack of concentra-

tion, it may indicate a possible lack of oxygen.

• Make sure that the surface including the fireplace can-

not be knocked over. If positioned on the floor make sure

the fireplace is not within the main walkways (risk of

stumbling).

5.2 Assembling the fireplace

6.1 Filling the fireplace with bio-ethanol

WARNINGS! Risk of fires and burns!

Only use bio-ethanol. Refer to paragraph 1.1

Please be careful when mounting the glass.

In the very early and very late stages of burning the

flame may be of a blue colour, making the flame not

well visible. Always make sure that the flame is really

shut off and the burner has cooled down for at least 15

minutes before touching, filling or refilling the burner.

• Never pour ethanol into a flame or into the hot burner.

• Do not smoke, eat or drink when handling ethanol.

• Spilled ethanol must immediately be removed from any

surface to avoid ignition of the spilled liquid. Clean the

spot with water.

• Ethanol can leave marks on some surfaces such as

wood or paint. Please be careful not to spill ethanol.

5. Adjust the flame height as

desired using the lever on

the lower left hand side of

first time. It may be necessary to repeat the ignition pro-

cess several times as detailed in paragraph 6.2 until the

flame burns steadily and constantly.

• Ignite the ethanol immediately after filling the burner

to prevent the risk of flash ignition from ethanol vapour.

6.4 Extinguishing the flame

WARNING! Risk of fires and burns!

• Never extinguish the flame with water!

(Risk of deflagration)

• Never try to blow out the flame! (Risk of a darting flame)

1. Open the burner completely with the lever.

If possible let the fuel burn out completely until the bur-

ner is fully emptied. This avoids the risk of flash ignition

of the vapour and the odour of bio-ethanol in the room.

the prong into the ethanol in

the burner.

6.5 If the fire does not immediately shut off:

Move the lever to reopen the burner and close it again

with a quick movement. This will cut the flame off. If ne-

cessary repeat this until the flame is shut off completely.

In the event of this being unsuccessful let the flame burn

with the burner closed for another 5-10 minutes. Then

repeat the above procedure. If this is unsuccessful

please open the burner and allow all the fuel to burn off.

All packaging material should be correctly sorted prior to

disposal. Please recycle all materials. In case you wish to

dispose of the product please comply with federal, state

and/or local regulations.

10.1 Disposal of bio-ethanol

1. Dispose of any remaining ethanol by carefully decan-

ting it from the burner into a suitable container. The con-

tainer with the remaining ethanol must be disposed of at

a municipal waste site or in accordance with your local

waste collection regulations.

2. Bio-ethanol must not be disposed of into domestic se-

wage (toilet, sink etc.).

7. In case of fire

Alcohol-resistant foam or carbon dioxide are suitable

flame extinguishing agents. Make sure to keep an extin-

guisher in the proximity of the fireplace.

8. Cleaning/Maintenance

Please allow the fireplace to cool for at least 15 minutes

before touching and cleaning the product!

8.1: Cleaning the burner

The burner should regularly be cleaned. Proceed as fol-

lows:

1.After the flame is shut off, please wait at least 15

minutes until the burner has cooled down.

2.Dispose of any fuel left in the burner

(see paragraph 10.1)

3.Use warm water and ph-neutral washing-up liquid to

clean the inside and outside of the burner. Dry the

burner after cleaning.

8.2 Cleaning the fireplace body:

Gently clean the fireplace body a using lint-free cleaning

cloth and a reputable mild hard surface cleaner.

Le bioéthanol est le combustible de demain. Il bénéficie

la combustion du bioéthanol est le même que celui que

midité. Pour le stockage de courte durée à l'extérieur,

nous recommandons l'utilisation de la housse de protec-

tion, marque blomus 65338.

Le foyer ne peut être utilisé que dans des pièces assez

grandes, fermées et bien aérées. Il est conçu pour un

usage domestique.

Veuillez conserver cette notice afin de la consulter ulté-

rieurement. En cas de transmission de l’article, cette no-

tice doit être également remise.

Une aération suffisante étant supposée, les foyers ne

peuvent être utilisés que dans des pièces présentant les

dimensions minimales suivantes.

Que le modèle 65330 : volume minimum de la pièce de

50 m³ce qui correspond à la taille d’une pièce d’env. 4 x

5 m avec une hauteur de 2,5 m.

N’attisez jamais le feu (formation de jets de flamme).

Ne jamais mettre de pots ni d’autres objets sur l’ouver-

ture du brûleur.

Stockez le bioéthanol exclusivement dans un réservoir

fermé et approprié. Le lieu de stockage doit être frais et

à l’abri de la lumière, hors de portée des enfants et ani-

maux. Ne jamais soumettre directement le bioéthanol au

rayonnement du soleil ou des sources de chaleur. Ne

stockez jamais plus de 5 l de bioéthanol dans votre ap-

partement. Le bioéthanol est facilement inflammable.

Respectez les prescriptions nationales et dispositions lo-

cales pour le stockage du bioéthanol.

Ne pas préparer d’aliments au-dessus du feu.

Risque pour les enfants et les animaux

Tenez les enfants et les animaux domestiques à l’écart

du foyer et respectez une distance minimum de 0,50 m

par rapport à la flamme.

Conservez le bioéthanol hors de portée des enfants et

animaux.

Il faut éviter des mouvements dans la zone d’action des

flammes.

Tenez les enfants à l’écart du matériel d’emballage. Il exi-

ste un risque d’étouffement.

Avertissement contre d’autres dommages pour la

santé

Evitez le contact direct avec le bioéthanol (yeux, peau,

muqueuse). Ne respirez pas de vapeurs de bioéthanol.

Avertissement contre l’étouffement

Les foyers au bioéthanol utilisent l’oxygène de l’air ambi-

ant pour la combustion. Veillez donc à une alimentation

suffisante en air frais pendant l’utilisation tout en évitant

à tout prix les courants d’air. Une fenêtre basculée suffit

souvent pour une bonne aération. Une fatigue soudaine

et un manque de concentration sont les premiers signes

possibles d’une carence en oxygène.

Respectez de plus les consignes d’avertissement et de

sécurité figurant sur les réservoirs de bioéthanol.

Risque de blessures

Lorsque vous placerez le foyer sur le sol, veillez à ce que

celui-ci ne se trouve pas directement sur un lieu de pas-

sage. Risque de trébucher !

Avertissement contre l’incendie et les brûlures

N’utilisez jamais le foyer sans surveillance. Aucun objet

inflammable ne doit se trouver dans un périmètre de 1

m (rideaux, meubles, lampes, décorations, etc.). Ne

posez aucun objet sur le foyer ou des parties du foyer.

Prudence dommages matériels

N’utilisez pas pour le nettoyage des produits de net-

toyage caustiques ou agressifs, d’essence, de térébent-

hine ou de crème à récurer.

Les ouvertures/fentes d’aération éventuellement exi-

stantes sur l’appareil doivent toujours rester dégagées.

3. Volume de pièce et changement

d’air minimums dans la pièce

Le foyer entier est très chaud pendant et après l’utilisa-

tion. Laissez refroidir la cheminée pendant au moins 15

min. avant d’y toucher.

Tous les foyers sont contrôlés par le centre technique

TÜV SÜD Industrie Service concernant les prescriptions

actuelles de sécurité, d’émission et de combustion. Voici

les résultats :

Posez le foyer exclusivement sur un support solide en

matériaux non inflammables (par ex. des sols en pierre,

carrelages, etc.). Le foyer ne doit pas être soumis direc-

tement au rayonnement du soleil.

• La concentration de monoxyde de carbone (CO)

maximale de 30 ppm, fixée par le décret bavarois sur

la combustion (BayFeuV), dans les locaux d’installation

n’est pas atteinte pour les dimensions de pièce et taux

de changement d’air nommés ci-dessous.

N’utilisez le foyer que dans une zone protégée contre un

courant d’air transversal.

Ne procédez à aucune transformation sur le foyer.

Ne remplissez la chambre de combustion par l’ouverture

de remplissage qu’à l’état entièrement froid.

• Une concentration de dioxyde de carbone (CO2)

maximale de 5.000 ppm dans les locaux d’installation

n’est pas atteinte pour les dimensions de pièce et taux

de changement d’air nommés ci-dessous.

N’allumez jamais directement le bioéthanol rempli. Pro-

cédez toujours comme décrit dans cette notice.

• Pour une exploitation maximale des foyers, les tempé-

ratures maximales permises de 85°C sur des élé-

ments voisins ne sont pas atteintes en cas d’installa-

tion conforme à cette notice.

N’éteignez le feu dans le foyer que via le régulateur de

flamme blomus.

N’éteignez jamais le feu avec de l’eau ou en soufflant

dessus (formation de jets de flamme !)

• Le débit de combustible maximal permis de 0,5 l/h

n’a pas été dépassé.

Ne fumez, mangez ou buvez jamais lorsque vous remplis-

sez le bioéthanol.

• Une teneur en CO2 maximale dans l’air ambiant de

5.000 ppm n’est pas dépassée dans les conditions

suivantes lors de la combustion :

5.Contrôlez si le régulateur

de flamme blomus peut être

entièrement et facilement

ouvert et fermé. Pour ce

faire, actionnez le régulateur

de flamme via la tirette si-

tuée sur le côté gauche de

la structure.

5. Montage :

5.1 : Choix du lieu de montage

Contrôlez tout d’abord si la pièce prévue pour l’utilisation

du foyer convient.

- La pièce d’installation doit disposer d’un volume mini-

mum comme décrit sous le point 3, Volume de pièce

minimum.

- Contrôlez si la pièce possède une alimentation en air

frais adéquate et veillez au changement d’air régulier

prescrit comme décrit sous le point 3.

- Est-ce que la surface d’installation est suffisamment

résistante à la chaleur ?

6.Mettez avec prudence re-

spectivement une des vitres

fournies, conformément à la

reproduction, dans les ou-

vertures de la structure à

l’avant et à l’arrière. Veillez à

ce que les bords arrondis se

trouvent en haut.

Les supports en plastique, bois, laminé, tapis, PVC,

tissu ou autres supports non résistants à la chaleur ne

sont pas des surfaces d’installation appropriées.

La surface d’installation doit être absolument plane.

- Est-ce que la surface d’installation est suffisamment

stable ? Le foyer pèse avec le brûleur rempli, selon le

modèle, jusqu’à 20 kg.

- Assurez-vous que la surface d’installation avec le foyer

ne puisse pas être renversée. En cas de pose directe

sur le sol, assurez-vous que le foyer ne se trouve pas di-

rectement sur un lieu de passage (risque de trébucher).

- Contrôlez si la distance minimum d’au moins 1 m par

rapport aux objets situés autour du foyer est respectée.

- De plus, il est interdit d’utiliser ces appareils sur des ta-

bles ou des meubles et objets mobiles.

7.Que le modèle 65333 : mettez avec prudence les 4

vitres de sécurité fournies, conformément à la reproduc-

tion, dans les ouvertures de la structure à l’avant et à

l’arrière ainsi qu’en façade. Veillez à ce que les bords ar-

rondis se trouvent en haut.

8.Le montage est achevé lorsque le couvercle du brû-

leur repose parfaitement et que le régulateur de flamme

ouvre et ferme facilement et entièrement.

6. Utilisation :

4.Tenez la tige d’allumage

Au cas où la flamme s’éteint de nouveau :

1.Le bioéthanol, à l’état froid, a souvent besoin de plu-

sieurs tentatives d’allumage jusqu’à ce que la flamme

brûle régulièrement et durablement. Répétez donc si né-

cessaire l’allumage comme décrit précédemment dans

le chapitre 6.2 « Allumage ».

3.Déposez le gobelet mesureur avec l’entonnoir et le ré-

servoir de bioéthanol fermé à une distance suffisante du

foyer (au moins 1 m de distance).

2.Si le bioéthanol est stocké déjà depuis un certain

temps dans le brûleur, l’allumabilité du bioéthanol se dé-

grade (en fonction de la température, de l’humidité de

l’air, etc. quelques heures suffisent déjà pour qu’une par-

tie de l’éthanol soit évaporée). Attendez quelques minu-

tes après la tentative d’allumage et assurez-vous que la

flamme est complètement éteinte. Eliminez le bioéthanol

se trouvant dans le brûleur par ex. en le reversant dans

un réservoir de bioéthanol vide. Le bioéthanol ne doit

pas être éliminé avec les eaux usées (WC, lavabo, con-

duit d’écoulement, etc.). Le réservoir avec le bioéthanol

reversé peut être éliminé correctement auprès de votre

point de collecte communal.

6.2 : Allumage

AVERTISSEMENT : Risque d’incendie et de brûlures !

N’allumez jamais le bioéthanol rempli directement.

N’allumez le brûleur que s’il est rempli de bioéthanol jus-

qu’à la marque de niveau de remplissage.

Allumez le brûleur immédiatement après le remplissage.

6.3 : Remplissage

Ne versez jamais le bioéthanol dans le feu encore brû-

après utilisation !

1.Attendez que le feu soit complètement éteint ou éteig-

nez-le avec le régulateur de flamme blomus (voir chapitre

6.4 « Extinction »)

2.En début et en fin de combustion, la flamme peut de-

venir bleue et être ainsi moins visible. Assurez-vous que

la flamme est complètement éteinte et laissez refroidir le

foyer pendant au moins 15 minutes avant de le remplir

de nouveau.

minez si nécessaire le bioéthanol se trouvant dans le

brûleur.

6.5 : Si le feu ne s’éteint pas :

Ouvrez l’obturateur du brûleur avec la tirette du régula-

teur de flamme blomus et refermez-la rapidement. La

flamme est ainsi « étouffée ». Répétez éventuellement

l’opération si la flamme ne s’éteint pas immédiatement.

Les vitres endommagées doivent être remplacées par

des vitres de sécurité originales blomus.

Dans le cadre des améliorations apportées au produit,

nous nous réservons de droit de procéder à des modifi-

cations techniques et optiques sur le produit.

Si la tentative devait rester sans succès, laissez brûler le

brûleur avec l’obturateur du brûleur fermé et attendez

env. 5 – 10 minutes. Répétez l’opération « d’étouffage

de la flamme » comme décrit précédemment. Si cette

tentative est également sans succès, laissez le brûleur

brûler jusqu’à ce qu’il soit vide avec l’ouverture du brû-

leur ouverte.

10. Elimination

Eliminez l’emballage en le triant. Si vous désirez vous sé-

parer de l’article, éliminez-le conformément aux dispositi-

ons actuelles. Le service d’élimination communal vous

fournira des renseignements.

7. En cas d’incendie :

10.1 Elimination du bioéthanol

Les agents d’extinction appropriés en cas d’incendie sont

de la mousse d’extinction résistant à l’alcool ou du di-

oxyde de carbone. Conservez si possible un extincteur

adéquat à proximité du foyer.

1. Transvasez le reste de bioéthanol dans un réservoir

(par ex. un réservoir le bioéthanol vide) et éliminez-le cor-

rectement conformément aux dispositions du service

d’élimination communal.

8. Nettoyage

conduit d’écoulement, etc.).

El bioetanol se produce de materias primas vegetales re-

generativas, tales como plantas o residuos de plantas

con contenido de almidón, celulosa o azúcar. Muchas

veces se obtienen forrajes de alta calidad como pro-

ducto secundario. Bioetanol es el combustible del futuro.

Bioetanol tiene un balance medioambiental excelente y

se comporta de modo neutro al CO2, puesto que libera

sólo tanto CO2 durante la combustión como es absor-

bido del aire por las plantas.

1.1 Especificación del bioetanol

Uso

Su chimenea de bioetanol debe operarse sólo con bioe-

tanol de alta calidad. Recomendamos que use siempre

bioetanol blomus, p.ej., Art° N° 31034 que está adap-

tado especialmente a todas las chimeneas blomus y que

arde con una llama fuerte y caliente casi sin formar hol-

lín. Puede adquirir el bioetanol blomus Art° N° 31034

en el comercio especializado bien surtido o en www.blo-

El bioetanol blomus original está compuesto de:

- aprox. un 96% de bioetanol

- 1 % MEK (desnaturalizante)

- aprox. 4 % de agua

Su chimenea de bioetanol blomus se apropia exclusiva-

mente para quemar bioetanol. No use jamás otro com-

bustible que no sea bioetanol de alta calidad. La

chimenea es un objeto de decoración con llama autén-

tica. La chimenea no se apropia como calefacción de ha-

bitaciones.

Se debe operar la chimenea sólo y exclusivamente en re-

cintos lo suficientemente grandes, cerrados y bien venti-

lados y está concebida para el uso en la esfera privada.

El Modelo 65333 está acondicionada para uso exterior.

Cuando la utilice o la exponga en el exterior protejala de

la humedad. ¡Le recomendamos que para su protección

en cortos espacios de tiempo, utilice la funda protectora

pueden operar las chimeneas sólo en recintos de los si-

Peligro para niños y animales

neo para este fin. El lugar de almacenamiento debe ser

fresco y protegido contra la luz, y encontrarse fuera del

alcance de los niños y animales. No someta el bioetanol

jamás a la radiación directa del sol ni de fuentes de

calor. No guarde nunca más de 5 l de bioetanol en su

piso. Bioetanol es fácilmente inflamable. Tenga en cu-

enta las prescripciones nacionales y las disposiciones lo-

cales para almacenar bioetanol.

Mantenga a los niños y animales domésticos alejados de

la chimenea y guarde una distancia mínima de 0,50 m al

fuego encendido.

Guarde el bioetanol fuera del alcance de los niños y de

los animales.

Mantenga a los niños alejados del material de embalaje.

Entre otras cosas, existe peligro de asfixia.

Evite movimientos en el área de acción de las llamas.

Aviso de otros daños a la salud

Evite el contacto directo con bioetanol (ojos, piel, muco-

sas). No inhale los vapores de bioetanol.

Aviso de asfixia

Las chimeneas de bioetanol usan el oxígeno del aire del

recinto para la combustión. Por esta razón procure que

se tenga suficiente entrada de aire fresco durante el

uso, teniendo que evitar imprescindiblemente corrientes

de aire. Muchas veces es suficiente una ventana bascu-

lada para una ventilación suficiente. Un cansancio repen-

tino y falta de concentración, son un primer indicio

posible de un déficit de oxígeno.

Tenga además en cuenta las advertencias de aviso y

sobre la seguridad puestos en los depósitos de bioetanol.

Peligro de lesiones

Si coloca la chimenea en el suelo, tenga en cuenta que

no se encuentre en el camino directo. ¡Peligro de trope-

zar!

Aviso de incendio y quemaduras

No opere la chimenea sin control. En un radio de 1 m

como mínimo no deben encontrarse objetos inflamables

(cortinas, muebles, lámparas, objetos de decoración,

obtuvieron los siguientes resultados:

Durante y después del uso, toda la chimenea está muy

caliente. Deje que se enfríe durante 15 minutos como

mínimo, antes de tocarla.

Coloque la chimenea siempre sobre una base sólida de

material no inflamable (p.ej., suelos de piedra, baldosas,

etc.). La chimenea no debe estar expuesta a la radiación

directa del sol.

• No se alcanzan las concentraciones máximas de mon-

óxido de carbono (CO) de 30 ppm en los recintos de

colocación del tamaño y frecuencia de cambio de aire

abajo indicados, prescritas en la normativa baviera

(Bayerische Feuerungsverordnung -BayFeuV)

Use la chimenea sólo en un sitio protegido contra cor-

rientes transversales.

• No se alcanza la concentración máxima de dióxido de

carbono (CO2) de 5.000 ppm en los recintos de colo-

cación del tamaño y frecuencia de cambio de aire

abajo indicados.

No haga cambios en la chimenea.

Llene la cámara de combustión sólo en estado completa-

mente enfriado y a través del orificio de llenado.

• A un régimen de operación máxima no se alcanzaron

las temperaturas máximas admisibles de 85 °C en

elementos colindantes, si se coloca la chimenea en

correspondencia a estas instrucciones.

No encienda el bioetanol jamás directamente. Actúe

siempre tal y como se describe en estas instrucciones.

Apague el fuego en la chimenea sólo a través del regula-

dor de llamas blomus.

• No se alcanzó el consumo máximo admisible de

combustible de 0,5 l/h.

No apague el fuego nunca con agua ni soplando (¡forma-

ción de una llama viva!)

• No se sobrepasa un contenido máximo de CO2 en el

aire del recinto de 5.000 ppm bajo las siguientes

condiciones de combustión:

No fume, ni coma ni beba al echar bioetanol.

No opere la chimenea nunca sin cubeta de seguridad y

evite corriente de aire en el área de la chimenea.

No avive nunca el fuego (formación de una llama viva)

- Controle que se conserve la distancia mínima de 1 m

como mínimo a los objetos inflamables alrededor de la

chimenea.

7.Sólo el modelo 65333: Conforme a la figura monte

los 4 cristales de seguridad adjuntos cuidadosamente en

los huecos de la caja en los lados frontal y trasero, así

como en los costados. Tenga en cuenta que los cantos

redondeados se encuentren arriba.

8.Si la tapa del quemador está perfectamente colocada

y el regulador de la llama blomus se abre y cierra fácil y

completamente, se ha finalizado el montaje.

- Por lo demás, estos aparatos no deben operarse sobre

mesas, ni muebles ni objetos desplazables.

6.1: Cómo echar bioetanol

Opere la chimenea sólo con bioetanol blomus,

p.ej., Art° N° 31034.

Al principio y al final de la combustión la llama puede ad-

quirir un color azul, haciendola poco visible. tenga pre-

caución. Asegúrese que la llama esté apagada desde hace

15 minutos como mínimo y que se haya enfriado el quema-

dor completamente, antes de que llene el quemador.

1. Meta la cubeta de seguridad en el elemento de fija-

ción al suelo previsto de la chimenea.

2.Ponga el quemador en la

cubeta de seguridad. Tenga

en cuenta la alineación cor-

recta, como se puede ver en

la figura.

¡No eche jamás bioetanol en el fuego que aún arde ni en

el quemador aún caliente!

Al echar bioetanol no coma, ni beba.

3.Coloque el regulador de

llama blomus sobre ambas

guías laterales. Tenga en cu-

enta que el área cepillada in-

dique hacia arriba.

Fregando, elimine inmediatamente el bioetanol derra-

mado y limpie a continuación con agua para evitar que

se encienda.

En algunos suelos, como por ejemplo de madera, el

bioetanol derramado puede originar manchas opacas.

En caso de que la llama se apague otra vez:

1.En estado fresco, el bioetanol necesita muchas veces

varios intentos de encendido hasta que la llama arda uni-

forme y duraderamente. Eventualmente tiene que repetir

el encendido como se ha descrito en el capítulo 6.2.

“Cómo encender la chimenea”.

3. Deposite el vaso graduado con el embudo y el depó-

sito de bioetanol cerrado a una distancia suficiente de la

chimenea (como mínimo 1 m de distancia).

2.Si el bioetanol se encuentra ya durante más tiempo en

el quemador, se empeora la capacidad de encendido del

bioetanol (en dependencia de la temperatura, humedad

del aire, etc., ya son suficientes alungas horas hasta

que una parte del etanol se haya evaporado). Espere al-

gunos minutos tras haber intentado encender el aparato

y asegúrese que la llama se haya apagado del todo. Eli-

mine el bioetanol existente en el quemador, retornándolo

en el depósito vacío de bioetanol. No está permitido que

el bioetanol se purgue a través del agua residual (aseo,

lavabo, desagüe, etc.) El depósito con el bioetanol retor-

nado puede eliminarse profesionalmente en el centro de

eliminación de basuras de su localidad.

6.2: Cómo encender la chimenea:

AVISO: ¡Peligro de incendio y quemaduras!

¡No encienda jamás directamente el bioetanol echado.

Encienda el quemador sólo cuando está lleno de bioeta-

nol hasta la marca del nivel de llenado.

Tras el llenado hay que encender el quemador inmediata-

mente.

6.3: Cómo respostar bioetanol:

¡AVISO! ¡Peligro de incendio y quemaduras! ¡No eche

jamás bioetanol en el fuego que aún arde ni en el que-

mador aún caliente!

1.Espere hasta que el fuego se haya apagado del todo o

apague el fuego con el regulador de la llama blomus

(véase capítulo 6.4 “Como apagar el fuego”)

2.Sumerja la punta rayada

de la varilla de encendido en

el bioetanol echado y deje

gotearla encima del quema-

dor.

2.Al principio y al final de la combustión la llama puede

adquirir un color azul, haciendola poco visible. tenga

No apague el fuego jamás con agua (¡peligro de explosión!)

8.1: Cómo limpiar la cámara de combustión

La cámara de combustión debe limpiarse con regulari-

dad. Para ello, obra como sigue:

No apague el fuego jamás soplando (¡peligro de llama viva!)

1.Tras haberse apagado la llama, espere durante 15

minutos como mínimo, hasta que se haya enfriado del

todo el quemador.

A ser posible, deje arder el quemador, hasta que se

haya gastado completamente el bioetanol. De este modo

evita una posible explosión al volver a encender la chime-

nea y el olor a alcohol en el recinto. Para apagar el

fuego, obre como sigue:

2.Elimine el bioetanol eventualmente existente como se

ha descrito en el capítulo 10.1.

3.Limpie el quemador con regularidad por dentro y fuera

con agua tibia echando un poco de detergente de un pH

neutro y, a continuación, seque el quemador completa-

mente.

mine eventualmente el bioetanol existente en el quema-

dor.

Para todos los modelos vale:

Seguridad: Corresponde a los requisitos de seguridad

actuales del TÜV.

6.5: En caso que no se apague el fuego:

Con la palanca de manejo del regulador de la llama blo-

mus abra y vuelva a cerrar rápidamente el cierre del

quemador. De este modo, se „corta“ la llama. Vuelva a

repetir esta operación eventualmente, si la llama no se

apaga inmediatamente.

Los cristales dañados tienen que cambiarse por los cri-

stales de seguridad originales blomus.

A fin de perfeccionar los productos, nos reservamos el

derecho de hacer cambios técnicos y ópticos en el pro-

ducto.

Si estos intentos no tienen éxito, deje arder el quemador

estando cerrado el cierre del quemador. Espere unos 5

a 10 minutos. Repita entonces el proceso „cortar la

llama“, como se ha descritos antes. Si tampoco con

este intento tiene éxito, deje que el quemador arda

estando abierto el orificio del quemador, hasta que esté

completamente vacío.

10. Eliminación

Elimine el empaque de modo clasificado según tipos. Si

quiere deshacerse del artículo, elimínelo conforme a las

disposiciones actuales. La oficina de eliminación comunal

le informará al respecto.

7. En caso de incendio:

10.1 Eliminación del bioetanol

En caso de incendio, los medios de extinción apropiados

son espuma extintora resistente al alcohol o dióxido de

carbono. Guarde un extintor de incendios idóneo cerca

de la chimenea.

1.Eche los restos del bioetanol en un depósito (p.ej. el

depósito de bioetanol vacío) y elimínelo profesionalmente

y conforme a las disposiciones de la oficina de elimina-

ción comunal.

2.No lo elimine jamás con el agua residual (aseo, la-

vabo, sumidero, etc.).

8. Cómo limpiar la chimenea:

¡AVISO! ¡Peligro de quemaduras!

Después del uso deje enfriarse la chimenea como mí-

nimo durante 15 minutos, antes de limpiarla.

Usar solamente como indica el manual.

El fabricante no se hará responsable de los daños a

propiedades o personas,resultantes

de un uso incorrecto. No se asume responsabilidad al-

guna por daños y lesiones que tengan su origen en un

uso irreglamentario. Utilice la chimenea sólo de la ma-

Il bioetanolo viene prodotto da materie prime vegetali a

ricrescita, come ad esempio dalle piante contenenti

amidi, cellulosa o zuccheri nonché da cascami vegetali.

Inoltre esso consente spesso una contemporanea produ-

zione di sottoprodotti, come ad esempio foraggi di alta

qualità. Il bioetanolo rappresenta il combustibile del fu-

turo. Il bioetanolo vanta un ottimo bilancio ambientale ed

un emissione CO2 neutrale, ovvero durante la sua com-

bustione viene liberata soltanto la quantità di CO2 prece-

dentemente assorbita dall’atmosfera attraverso le piante.

Il camino a parete al bioetanolo va alimentato esclusiva-

mente con bioetanolo di elevata qualità. Si raccomanda

di utilizzare sempre il bioetanolo blomus, p. es. art. n°

31034, formulato per tutti i focolari blomus e per gene-

rare una fiamma forte, calda e pressoché priva di fulig-

gine. Il bioetanolo originale della blomus, art. n° 31034,

è reperibile presso negozi specializzati.

Il bioetanolo originale blomus è composto da:

- circa 96% bioetanolo

- 1 % MEK (denaturante)

- circa 4% acqua

- Bitrex (1g/100 l)

2. Avvertenze per la sicurezza:

Il focolare blomus al bioetanolo è adatto esclusivamente

per la combustione di bioetanolo. Non utilizzare mai un

combustibile differente dal prescritto bioetanolo di alta

qualità. Il focolare è un arredo decorativo che genera

una vera fiamma. Il focolare non è adatto per il riscalda-

mento di locali.

Il focolare può essere impiegato esclusivamente in locali

chiusi sufficientemente grandi e ben arieggiati ed è con-

cepito per un uso in abitazioni private.

Introduzione alle presenti istruzioni

Prima della messa in funzione leggere attentamente le

presenti istruzioni per l'uso e le avvertenze sulla sicu-

rezza ed utilizzare quindi il prodotto rispettando tali avvisi

ed istruzioni, onde prevenire lesioni o danni accidentali.

Rispettare le prescrizioni e le norme locali e nazionali re-

lative all’installazione ed all’impiego del focolare. Lo

stesso vale per lo stoccaggio del bioetanolo, il cui im-

piego come combustibile del focolare è assolutamente

obbligatorio.

Il modello 65333 é utilizzabile anche all’esterno.

Proteggere dall’umidità durante l’utilizzo e lo stoccaggio.

Per brevi periodi all’esterno consigliamo l’involucro pro-

tettivo blomus 65338.

I focolari possono essere impiegati soltanto in locali suffi-

cientemente arieggiati ed aventi le seguenti dimensioni

minime:

Soltanto modello 65330: volume interno minimo di 50

m³, corrispondente ad un locale con una superficie di

circa 4 x 5 m ed un’altezza di 2,5 m.

Conservare le presenti istruzioni per successive consul-

tazioni. In caso di cessione del prodotto, consegnare

anche le presenti istruzioni.

Modelli 65331 e 65333: volume interno minimo di 70

m³, corrispondente ad un locale con una superficie di

Conservare il bioetanolo esclusivamente in un idoneo

contenitore chiuso. Il luogo di immagazzinaggio deve es-

sere protetto contro il calore e la luce e trovarsi fuori

dalla portata di bambini ed animali. Non esporre mai il

bioetanolo all’azione diretta dei raggi solari o di fonti di

calore. Non conservare mai più di 5 l di bioetanolo nella

propria abitazione. Il bioetanolo è facilmente infiamma-

bile. Rispettare le prescrizioni locali e le norme nazionali

sullo stoccaggio del bioetanolo.

Conservare il bioetanolo lontano dalla portata dei bam-

bini e degli animali.

Il materiale di imballaggio va tenuto fuori dalla portata dei

bambini. Esso comporta fra l’altro il rischio di asfissia.

Attenzione! - Pericolo di asfissia

La combustione nei focolari al bioetanolo avviene me-

diante l’utilizzazione dell'ossigeno contenuto nell’aria. Du-

rante l’uso è pertanto necessario provvedere ad un

adeguato afflusso di aria fresca, evitando però in ogni

caso la formazione di correnti d’aria. Una finestra soc-

chiusa è spesso sufficiente per garantire un adeguato ri-

cambio d’aria. Un improvviso senso di stanchezza o una

scarsa concentrazione possono manifestarsi come primi

sintomi di una carenza di ossigeno.

Evitare movimenti nell’ambito di azione delle fiamme.

Attenzione! Rischio di ulteriori danni alla salute

Evitare il contatto diretto (occhi, cute, mucose) con il

bioetanolo. Evitare l’inalazione di vapori di bioetanolo.

Rispettare altresì gli avvisi di pericolo e le indicazioni sulla

sicurezza riportate sul contenitore del bioetanolo.

Attenzione! - Pericolo di incendio e di ustioni

Non lasciare mai il focolare incustodito quando è in fun-

zione. In un raggio di almeno 1 m non devono essere

presenti oggetti infiammabili (tende, mobili, lampade, de-

corazioni ecc.). Non poggiare oggetti sul focolare o sui

suoi componenti.

Pericolo di lesioni

Se il focolare viene sistemato sul pavimento, si deve fare

attenzione che non ostruisca il passaggio delle persone.

Pericolo di inciampare!

Prudenza! - Danni alle cose

La pulizia va eseguita senza utilizzare prodotti chimici

corrosivi, benzina, trementina, detergenti aggressivi o

abrasivi.

Le aperture/fessure eventualmente presenti all’esterno

dell'apparecchio devono essere sempre libere.

La temperatura del focolare è estremamente elevata sia

durante che dopo l’uso. Lasciar raffreddare il focolare

per almeno 15 min. prima di toccarlo.

3. Volume minimo del locale e ricambio

d’aria minimo

Sistemare il focolare esclusivamente su supporti stabili,

realizzati con materiali ininfiammabili (p.es. pavimenti in

pietra, piastrelle ecc.). Il focolare non deve essere espo-

sto all’azione diretta dei raggi solari.

Tutti i focolari blomus vengono controllati dal “TÜV SUD

Industrie Service” in merito alla loro conformità con le vi-

genti norme sulla sicurezza, sulle emissioni e sulla com-

bustione. I controlli eseguiti hanno evidenziato i seguenti

risultati:

Il focolare va impiegato soltanto in una zona protetta da

correnti d’aria.

• La concentrazione massima di monossido di carbonio

(CO) nel locale di installazione pari a 30 ppm, come in-

dicato dal Decreto bavarese sugli impianti di combu-

stione (BayFeuV), non viene superata in locali aventi le

dimensioni specificate nelle seguenti tabelle.

Non apportare alcuna modifica al focolare.

Riempire la camera di combustione soltanto dopo il com-

pleto raffreddamento del focolare ed utilizzando l’appo-

sita apertura.

• La massima concentrazione di biossido di carbonio

(CO2) di 5.000 ppm nel locale di installazione non

viene superata in locali aventi le dimensioni specificate

nelle seguenti tabelle.

Non accendere mai direttamente il bioetanolo immesso

nel focolare. Rispettare sempre il metodo descritto nelle

presenti istruzioni.

• Al regime massimo di funzionamento dei focolari in-

stallati in conformità alle presenti istruzioni non è

stata superata la temperatura massima ammissibile di

85° C dei componenti adiacenti.

Il fuoco nel focolare va spento esclusivamente tramite il

regolatore di fiamma blomus.

Non spegnere mai il fuoco con acqua o soffiando (rischio

di fiammate!)

• La portata massima ammissibile di combustibile,

0,5 l/h, non è stata superata.

Non fumare, mangiare o bere durante il rifornimento di

bioetanolo.

• Il valore di 5.000 ppm relativo al tenore massimo di

CO2 dell’aria nell’ambiente non viene superato se sono

soddisfatte le seguenti premesse:

Non utilizzare mai il focolare senza la vaschetta di sicu-

rezza ed evitare correnti d’aria nella zona di utilizzo del

focolare.

stituisca un ostacolo per il passaggio delle persone (ri-

schio di inciampare).

- Verificare che attorno al camino sia rispettata la di-

stanza minima di almeno 1 m dagli oggetti infiammabili.

- Inoltre questi apparecchi non devono essere utilizzati

su tavoli o mobili ed oggetti movibili.

7. Soltanto modello 65333: inserire i 4 vetri di sicurezza

forniti in dotazione nelle aperture del contenitore pre-

senti sul lato anteriore e posteriore nonché sui lati fron-

tali. Fare attenzione a che i bordi smussati si trovino sul

lato superiore.

8. Il montaggio è terminato se la copertura del brucia-

tore è alloggiata perfettamente nella sua sede e l'aper-

tura e la chiusura del regolatore di fiamma blomus sono

eseguibili dolcemente e in modo completo.

6. Impiego

ATTENZIONE! Pericolo di asfissia!

Provvedere ad un’adeguato afflusso di

aria fresca durante il funzionamento (socchiudendo una

finestra o con un simile metodo). Un improvviso senso di

stanchezza o una scarsa concentrazione sono i primi sin-

tomi di una carenza di ossigeno!

5.2: Montaggio del focolare:

Pericolo! Rischio di lesioni! Il montaggio delle lastre di

vetro va eseguito con prudenza.

6.1: Rifornimento del bioetanolo

ATTENZIONE! Pericolo di incendio e di ustioni! Utilizzi es-

clusivamente il bioetanolo blomus, p. es. art. n°. 31034,

per l'alimentazione del focolare.

tamente prevista nel focolare.

2. Sistemare il bruciatore

All’inizio e alla fine la fiamma può esser di colore blu e

almeno 15 minuti prima di eseguire un nuovo rifornimento.

4. Accendere quindi il bioe-

tanolo contenuto nel brucia-

clinata verso il basso, in dire-

zione della scanalatura.

Ripetere l'operazione in caso

di spegnimento della fiamma. Dopo circa 15 minuti il

bruciatore ha raggiunto la sua temperatura d'esercizio.

1. Aprire completamente l’apertura del bruciatore agendo

sulla leva di comando del regolatore di fiamma blomus.

2.Inserire l’imbuto nell’aper-

tura del bruciatore. Riempire

quindi il misurino con il bioe-

segno di livello massimo e

In caso di un nuovo spegnimento della fiamma:

1. Allo stato freddo il bioetanolo richiede spesso più ten-

tativi di accensione prima che la fiamma inizi ad ardere

in modo uniforme e costante. Ripetere eventualmente

l'operazione di accensione come descritto al punto 6.2

“Accensione”.

3.Depositare a sufficiente distanza (almeno 1 m) dal fo-

colare il misurino, l’imbuto ed il contenitore chiuso del

bioetanolo.

2. L’infiammabilità del bioetanolo si riduce in caso di una

sua lunga conservazione nel bruciatore (a seconda della

temperatura, dell’umidità atmosferica ecc. è bastano

poche ore affinché evapori una parte dell’etanolo). Atten-

dere alcuni minuti dopo i tentativi di accensione e assicu-

rarsi che la fiamma sia completamente spenta.

Provvedere allo smaltimento del bioetanolo contenuto nel

bruciatore, p. es. versandolo in una tanica di bioetanolo

vuota. Non è consentito smaltire il bioetanolo immetten-

dolo nelle acque di scarico (wc, lavelli, deflussi ecc.). Il

contenitore con il bioetanolo ritraboccato può essere

smaltito a regola d'arte presso il centro di smaltimento

allestito dal Vostro comune.

6.2: Accensione:

ATTENZIONE! Pericolo di incendio e di ustioni!

Non accendere mai direttamente il bioetanolo immesso

nel focolare.

Accendere il bruciatore soltanto se il bioetanolo im-

messo raggiunge il segno di livello massimo.

Il bruciatore va acceso subito dopo il riempimento.

6.3: Rifornimento:

1. Attendere che il fuoco si sia completamente estinto

oppure spegnerlo tramite il regolatore di fiamma blomus

(vedasi capitolo 6.4 “Spegnimento”).

2. All’inizio e alla fine la fiamma può esser di colore blu

e perció difficilmente visible. Assicurarsi che la fiamma

sia completamente spenta e lasciar raffreddare il foco-

lare per almeno 15 minuti prima di eseguire un nuovo ri-

fornimento.

6.5: Se il fuoco non si spegne:

Aprire e chiudere repentinamente il meccanismo di chiu-

sura del bruciatore agendo sulla leva di comando del re-

golatore di fiamma blomus. Ciò causa il cosiddetto

“abbattimento” della fiamma. Ripetere questa operazione

nel caso in cui la fiamma non dovesse spegnersi.

Se anche questo tentativo fallisse, lasciar ardere il bru-

ciatore con elemento di chiusura serrato ed attendere

circa 5 – 10 minuti. Ripetere quindi l'operazione di “ab-

battimento della fiamma” come sopra descritto. Se

anche questo tentativo risulta inefficace, lasciare ardere

il bruciatore con elemento di chiusura aperto fino

all’esaurimento completo del combustibile.

10. Smaltimento

Provvedere ad uno smaltimento differenziato dei mate-

riali d’imballaggio. Per disfarsi del prodotto è necessario

smaltirlo in conformità alle vigenti norme. Ulteriori infor-

mazioni possono essere fornite dal centro di smalti-

mento del rispettivo comune.

7. In caso di incendio:

10.1 Smaltimento del bioetanolo

Quale mezzo estinguente idoneo in caso di incendio può

essere impiegata schiuma antincendio resistente all’alcol

oppure anidride carbonica. È opportuno tenere a disposi-

zione un idoneo estintore, possibilmente non lontano dal

focolare.

1. Travasare in un contenitore i residui di bioetanolo

(p.es. tanica di bioetanolo vuota) e smaltirli a regola

d'arte ed in conformità alle prescrizioni del competente

centro di smaltimento comunale.

2. Non eliminare il combustibile immettendolo nelle

acque di scarico (wc, lavelli, deflussi ecc.).

8. Pulizia:

ATTENZIONE! Pericolo di ustioni!

Si declina qualsiasi responsabilità per danni e lesioni ri-

conducibili ad un uso scorretto.

Utilizzare il focolare esclusivamente nel modo descritto

nelle presenti istruzioni.

Dopo l’uso lasciar raffreddare il focolare per almeno 15

minuti prima di eseguire la sua pulizia.

PRUDENZA! Danni alle cose!

La pulizia va eseguita senza utilizzare benzina, tremen-

tina, prodotti chimici corrosivi o aggressivi o detergenti

abrasivi.

Bioethanol word uit overtollige plantaardige grondstoffen

grondstof ook hoogwaardig voer hiervan gewonnen.

Bioethanol is de brandstof van de toekomst. Bioethanol

staat perfect in balans met ons milieu en verhoud zich

CO2 neutraal, dit omdat het bij verbanding maar zo wei-

nig CO2 uitstoot, als dat het vooraf door de planten van

zuurstof werd opgenomen.

1.1 Specificatie van Bioethanol

Uw Bioethanol wandhaard mag alleen worden gebruikt

met hoogwaardige Bio-Ethanol. Wij kunnen u daarom

steeds onze blomus Bioethanol aanbevelen, bijv. art.-nr-

31034, welke speciaal op alle blomus ethanolhaarden is

afgestemd en met een krachtige en nagenoeg roetvrije

warme vlam brandt. Deze originele blomus Bioethanol,

art.-nr. 31034, vindt u in de goed gesorteerde vakhan-

del, die u kunt vinden op www.blomus.com.

Originele blomus Bioethanol is samengesteld uit:

- ca. 96 % Bioethanol

- 1 % MEK (Denatureringsmiddel)

- ca. 4 % Water

- Bitrex (1g/100 l)

2. Veiligheidsvoorschriften:

Uw blomus Bioethanol haard (navolgend ook brander ge-

noemd) is uitsluitend geschikt voor het verbranden van

Bioethanol, gebruik daarom ook nooit andere brandstof-

fen buiten hoogwaardige Bio-Ethanol. Deze brander ver-

houd zich als een decoratieve brander met echte

vlammen.

Deze handleiding

Leest u a.u.b. voor het in gebruik nemen van het pro-

duct deze gebruikers- en veiligheidshandleiding aandach-

tig door en gebruik het product alleen zoals in deze

handleiding omschreven, daarmee u eventuele schade

en/of verwondingen voorkomt.

De brander is niet geschikt als verwarmingselement.

De brander mag alleen in ruimten worden gebruikt, die

groot genoeg zijn en afgesloten, maar daarentegen goed

worden belucht met nieuwe zuurstof toevoer en is ont-

worpen voor privé gebruik.

Nationale en plaatselijke voorschriften moeten bij de op-

bouw en in gebruik nemen van de haard mede in acht

worden genomen.

Model 65333 is ook voor buiten gebruik geschikt. Bij het

opbergen of gebruik absoluut beschermen tegen vocht

en vochtigheid. Voor het afdekken van het product op

buitenlocatie, bevelen wij de blomus beschermhoes

65338 aan.

Dat zelfde geldt ook voor het opslaan van Bio-ethanol,

dat als enige brandstof gebruikt dient te worden.

Bewaard u deze handleiding zorgvuldig, zodat u deze al-

tijd kunt nalezen indien u dit nodig acht of bij een even-

tuele doorverkoop van de haard.

Met de juiste beluchting zouden de branders in ruimten

mogen worden benut met de volgende minimale afmetingen.

U dient deze handleiding dan bij het product mee te leve-

ren.

Alleen model 65330: minimale ruimtevolume van 50

m³, Wat zou betekenen een ruimte van ca. 4 x 5 m bij

BELANGRIJKE AANWIJZING:

Levensmiddel niet boven of op de brander bereiden.

Blaas nooit in de richting van het vuur (steekvlammen tot

gevolg).

Gevaar voor kinderen en dieren

Houdt kinderen en huisdieren op een minimale afstand

van 0,5 meter van de in gebruik genomen brander.

Bewaar Bioethanol altijd op een brandveilige koele en

donkere plaats en goed afgesloten, buiten bereik van kin-

deren en huisdieren. Bioethanol altijd buiten bereik van

directe zonnestralen en warmtebronnen houden. Zorg

ervoor dat er nooit meer dan 5 liter Bioethanol in uw wo-

ning wordt bewaard, Bioethanol is licht ontvlambaar.

Let op de nationale en plaatselijke verordeningen voor

het bewaren van Bio-Ethanol.

Bewaar Bioethanol altijd in een voor kinderen goed afges-

loten en onbereikbare ruimte.

Houd kinderen weg van het verpakkingsmateriaal. Een

kind kan stikken in het verpakkingsmateriaal.

Waarschuwing voor verstikking

Bewegingen in het vlammenbereik zijn beter te vermijden.

Bioethanol branders gebruiken zuurstof in de ruimtelijke

voor de verbranding. Let u er daarom op, dat u tijdens

het branden voor voldoende beluchting c.q. nieuwe toe-

voer van zuurstof zorgt, waarbij tocht absoluut vermeden

moet worden. Een open raam of alle ventilatierooster zijn

doorgaans voldoende. Plotselinge vermoeidheid en een

tekortkoming in concentratie wijzen er vaak op dat u on-

voldoende zuurstof krijgt.

Waarschuwing voor verdere gezondheidsschade

Vermijd een direct contact met Bioethanol (ogen, huid en

slijmhuid). Adem Bioethanol-dampen niet in.

Let daarom op het waarschuwingsvoorschrift op de

fles/houder.

Gevaar voor verwondingen

De brander is erg zwaar. Zorg daarom bij de montage

voor hulp van een tweede persoon. Glasplaten kunnen on-

danks de zorgvuldige afwerking scherpe kanten hebben.

Waarschuwing voor brand en verbrandingen

Gebruik de brander nooit zonder toezicht. In een afstand

van 1 meter rondom de haard mogen zich geen brand-

bare voorwerpen begeven (gordijnen, meubelen, lampen,

decoratie, etc.). Zet nooit geen voorwerpen op de bran-

der of op onderdelen van de brander.

Voorzichtigheid met reiniging

Gebruik voor het schoon maken geen bijtende reinigings-

middelen. Benzine, Terpentine, agressieve of schurende

reinigingsmiddelen.

Alle openingen/beluchtingsleuven in het apparaat dienen

altijd onbedekt te zijn.

3. Minimale volume v.d. ruimte en mi-

nimale beluchtingwaarden in de ruimte

Tijdens en na gebruik, zal de gehele brander zeer heet

zijn. Laat deze dan ook minstens 15 minuten afkoelen,

voordat u deze aanraakt.

Alle blomus branders worden daarom door de TÜV SÜD

Industrie Service onderzocht en gecontroleerd op alle ac-

tuele zekerheids-, emissie en brandvoorschriften. Daarbij

werden de volgende eigenschappen bevonden;:

Plaats de brander alleen op een stevige ondergrond be-

staande uit een niet brandbaar materiaal (bijv. steen, te-

gels, etc.). De brander mag niet in direct zonlicht

worden geplaatst.

• De in de Bayerische Vuurverordening (BayFeuV) aan-

gegeven maximale Koolmonoxideconcentratie (CO) bij

30 ppm in gebruiksruimten, wordt bij de hieronder ge-

noemde grote van ruimten en luchttoevoerwaarden

onderlegt.

• Een maximale kooldioxideconcentratie (CO2) bij 5.000

ppm in een gebruiksruimte, wordt bij de onder verno-

emde grote van ruimten en luchttoevoerwaarden on-

derlegt.

• Bij een maximaal gebruik van de brander, werden de

de maximaal toegestane temperaturen van 85°C op

aangrenzende onderdelen - bij een montage zoals in

deze handleiding aangegeven – gemeten.

• De maximaal toegelaten brandstofstroom van 0,5

l/per uur werd niet overschreden

• Een maximaal CO2-gehalte in de ruimte van 5.000

ppm werd bij zoals hieronder aangegeven waarden

niet overschreden:

Brander nooit in een tochtbereik gebruiken.

Wijzigingen aan de brander zijn streng verboden.

Vul de brandkamer alleen in totaal afgekoelde toestand

van de brander door de vulopening.

Steek de gevulde Bioethanol nooit direct aan.

Volg altijd de aanwijzingen zoals in deze handleiding om-

schreven.

Doof het vuur van de brander uitsluitend met de vlam-

hoogteregelaar.

Doof het vuur nooit met water of door het uit te blazen

(steekvlammen tot gevolg).

Roken, drinken of eten tijdens de bevulling met Bioetha-

nol wordt sterk afgeraden.

Gebruik de brander nooit buiten zijn beschermkamer en

voorkom tocht of treklucht in de omgeving van de bran

der.

Het plaatsingsoppervlak moet absoluut waterpas zijn.

- Is het plaatsingsoppervlak stabiel? De brander incl. ge-

vulde brandkamer weegt afhankelijk van het model tot

ca. 20 kg.

- Zorg ervoor, dat het plaatsingsoppervlak en brander

niet omgestoten kunnen worden. Bij een opstelling op

de vloer, moet u ervoor zorgen dat zich de brander

niet in wandelwegen bevindt (struikelgevaar).

- Controleer of er zich in een afstand van 1 meter rondom

de haard geen brandbare voorwerpen begeven (gor-

dijnen, meubelen, lampen, decoratie, etc.) of deze door

tocht in de omgeving van de brander kunnen begeven.

6. Plaats aan elke kant –

voor en achterzijde – zoals

afgebeeld voorzichtig de glas-

platen in de daarvoor be-

stemde uitsparingen. Let er

op, dat de afgeronde kanten

zich aan de bovenzijde bevin-

den, dus zichtbaar.

7. Allen model 65333: Plaats alle 4 de megeleverde veilig-

heidsgglasplaten, zoals afgebeeld voorzichtig in de daar-

voor bestemde uitsparingen. Let er op, dat de afgeronde

kanten zich aan de bovenzijde bevinden, dus zichtbaar.

8. Als de branderafdekking volledig veilig is geplaatst en

de vlamhoogteregelaar zonder weerstand en volledig te

open en te sluiten is, is de assemblage klaar.

6. Gebruik:

LET OP! Verstikkingsgevaar!

5.2: Brander assembleren:

Let op! Verwondinggevaar! Pas op bij het monteren van

de glasplaten.

Let u er op, dat u altijd voor voldoende aanwezigheid van

zuurstof zorgt in de ruimte, waar u de brander gebruikt

(zorg ervoor dat er een raam of alle ventilatieroosters

ruim geopend zijn). Plotselinge duizeligheid en moeheid

kunnen en een tekort aan concentratie kunnen erop dui-

den, dat er een zuurstof tekort isl!

6.1: Bioethanol bijvullen

LET OP! Brand- en verbrandingsge-

vaar!

Gebruik voor deze branders uitsluitend

blomus Bioethanol, bijvoorbeeld art.-nr. 31034.

1. Plaats de veiligheidsbehuizing in de daarvoor ge-

maakte uitsparing in de brander.

2. Plaats daarna de brander

in de veiligheidsbehuizing.

Let daarbij op een juiste en

stabiele plaatsing, zoals afge-

beeld.

Bij begin van ontbranding of in de eerste minuten van

het branden kan een nog blauwe vlam ontstaan, deze

kan moeilijk zichtbaar zijn.Wees er zeker van, dat een

vlam minstens 15 minuten gedoofd is en de brandkamer

compleet is afgekoeld, voordat u de brander navult!!

Giet nooit Bioethanol in een brandend vuur of in de nog

warme brandkamer! Ontploffingsgevaar!

van het model aan de linker-

zijde.

Mocht de vlam weer doven:

1. Bij Bioethanol in koele toestand, kan het nodig zijn

deze meermaals aan te moeten steken tot de vlam lang-

durig en gelijkmatig brandt. Herhaal dan de aansteekpro-

cedure zoals in punt 6.2. omschreven.

3. Bewaar de maatbeker, trechter en de afgesloten fles

Bioethanol op een veilige en ruime afstand van de bran-

der (minstens 1 meter).

2. Mocht het Bioethanol al langere tijd in de brandkamer

aanwezig zijn, dan neemt de ontbrandingscapaciteit van

de Bioethanol af. (Afhankelijk van temperatuur en lucht-

vochtigheid etc. kan de Ethanol al binnen enige uren

doen verdampen). Wacht na elke poging tot ontbranding

enkele minuten en wees er zeker van, dat de vlam echt

nog niet tot ontbranding is gekomen. Verwijder overtollig

Bioethanol a.u.b. zorgvuldig en giet het zo nodig terug in

een lege Bioethanol fles. Het Bioethanol mag onder geen

voorwaarde in afwatering, een gootsteen of toilet wor-

den afgevoerd. De fles met het restant Bioethanol kan bij

uw plaatselijk afvalverwerkingstation ingeleverd worden.

6.2: Aansteken:

Let op!: Brand- en verwondinggevaar!

Steek de gevulde Bioethanol nooit direct aan.

Ontsteek de brandkamer alleen, als deze tot de vulmar-

kering is gevuld met Bioethanol. Brandkamer direct na

het vullen aansteken als volgt;

6.3: Bioethanol bijvullen:

Gebruik voor deze branders uitsluitend blomus

Bioethanol, bijvoorbeeld art.-nr. 31034.

1. Wacht met het vullen tot het vuur compleet is ge-

doofd of doof het zo nodig door de brander af te sluiten

d.m.w. de vlamhoogteregelaar (zie punt 6.4 „Doven“)

2. Bij begin van ontbranding of in de eerste minuten van

het branden kan een nog blauwe vlam ontstaan, deze

kan moeilijk zichtbaar zijn. Wees er zeker van, dat een

vlam minstens 15 minuten gedoofd is en de brandkamer

compleet is afgekoeld, voordat u de brander navult!!

2. Verwijder dan eventueel achtergebleven Bioethanol,

zoals onder punt 10.1 omschreven.

Meest ideaal is het, de ethanol volledig op te laten bran-

den.

3. Reinig de brandkamer van binnen en van buiten regel-

matig met warm water en een pH-neutraal afwasmiddel

en droog deze daarna goed af.

U voorkomt hiermee een plof bij het opnieuw aansteken

van de brander en een alcohol geur in de ruimte er om-

heen. Om het vuur te doven, als volgt:

8.2: Reiniging van de haardbehuizing

Zorg voor een regelmatige reiniging van de haardbehui-

zing, volgens het reinigingsvoorschrift als bijlage in de

verpakking.

3. Nadat de brander volledig is afgekoeld, verwijderd u

overtollig Bioethanol a.u.b. zorgvuldig, dit kan bij uw

plaatselijk afvalverwerkingstation ingeleverd worden.

Veiligheid: Naar alle actuele TÜV Veiligheidsnormen

Beschadigde glasplaten kunt u uitwisselen door originele

blomus veiligheidsglasplaten.

6.5: Mocht de vlam niet doven:

Open dan met de stelhendel van de blomus vlamhoogte-

regelaar de brander nogmaals en sluit deze direct weer.

De vlam wordt hierdoor “dood geslagen”.

In verband met productverbeteringen, zijn veranderingen

in technische gegevens en afmetingen voorbehouden.

Herhaal dit proces, indien de vlam toch niet direct dooft.

10. Verwijdering:

Mocht dit proces niet werken en de vlam blijft branden,

laat de brander dan met afgesloten brandkamer branden

en wacht daarna nog 5 a 10 minuten. Herhaal daarna

nogmaals het proces “vlam dood geslagen”, zoals hierbo-

ven beschreven. Mocht ook dit proces niet werken en de

vlam blijft branden, laat de brander dan met open brand-

kamer volledig uit branden.

Verwijder de verpakkingselementen gesorteerd.

Mocht u het product niet meer in uw bezit willen hebben,

hiervoor dient u de onderdelen naar een lokaal afvalver-

werkingstation te brengen. Voor gescheiden afval ver-

werking.

10.1 Verwijdering van Bioethanol

1. Verwijder overtollig Bioethanol a.u.b. zorgvuldig en

giet het zo nodig terug in een lege Bioethanol fles. Het

Bioethanol mag onder geen voorwaarde in afwatering,

een gootsteen of toilet worden afgevoerd. De fles met

het restant Bioethanol kan bij uw plaatselijk afvalverwerk-

ingstation ingeleverd worden.

7. In geval van brand:

Blusmiddelen die geschikt zijn, zijn alcoholbestendige

blusschuim of kooldioxide. Het is aan te bevelen een

brandblusser in de buurt van een brander te houden.

8. Reinigen:

LET OP! Verbrandingsgevaar!

2. Het mag nooit via een gootsteen of toilet worden af-

gevoerd.

Laat de brander na het gebruik minstens 15 minuten af-

koelen, alvorens deze te reinigen.

Voor aansprakelijkheid van schade en/of letsel aantoon-

baar door onvakkundig gebruik of gebruik anders dan in

deze handleiding aangegeven, worden niet opgenomen.

Gebruikt u deze branders alleen zoals in deze handleiding

omschreven staat.

PAS OP! Schadegevaar!

Gebruik voor het reinigen geen scherpe of agressieve

chemicaliën, benzine, terpentine of schuurmiddelen.

8.1: Reiniging van de brandkamer

De brandkamer dient regelmatig te worden gereinigd.

Doe dit op de volgende wijze;

1. Wacht na het doven van de vlam in de brandkamer op

z’n minst 15 minuten tot deze is afgekoeld.
