Shower CD/Radio  
OWNER’S MANUAL

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (Continued)  
1. Swivel Hanging Hook. Used to hang unit around shower  
head. Fits most standard shower heads. (P/N 10018*)  
2. POWER Button. Press to turn the power: ON or OFF.  
3. VOLUME Control Buttons. Press to adjust sound level:  
UP ( + ) or DOWN ( - ).  
4. CD Door.  
5. MEMORY (Clock Adjust) Button. Program Setting/Clock or  
Timer adjusting.  
6. REPEAT/M-UP. In CD Mode: Press to repeat one or all tracks  
while CD plays. In RADIO Mode: Press M-UP to select a stored  
radio station.  
7. MODE Button. Press to change the Display as shown: Radio  
Frequency, Clock, Timer, or CD Remaining Time, Clock, Timer.  
8. TIMER ON/OFF Button. Press to select Timer function.  
9. BAND Select Button. Press to select Radio Band: FM or AM.  
10. TUNER Select Button. Press to set the unit to RADIO Mode.  
11. CD Select Button. Press to set the unit to CD Mode.  
12. LCD Display. Shows various functions in all Modes.  
13. PLAY/PAUSE Button. Press to begin CD playing or to pause.  
14. STOP Button. Press to stop CD play.  
15. TUNING/SKIP/TIMER Buttons (᭤᭤l l᭣᭣). Press to  
skip/search ᭤᭤l forward or l᭣᭣ backward while in CD Playing  
Mode. Press to search radio station ᭤᭤l upward, or l᭣᭣  
downward while in RADIO Mode. Press to select time while  
setting Clock or Timer.  
16. Latch. Press to open the CD Door.  
17. DC Jack. (Input DC 6V, 500 mA)  
. Used to connect AC  
adapter. (Not included.) Do not use in shower/sauna.  
18. EARPHONES Jack. Connect headphones here for private  
listening. (Not included.)  
19. Battery Door. Unscrew to insert batteries. (P/N 10019*)  
20. Mounting Plate Slots. For attaching the Mounting Plate.  
21. Slot. For attaching CD/Radio to the Stand.  
22. Mounting Plate. Used to mount the unit on the wall.

USING THE WET TUNES STAND  
TO ATTACH: Lower Wet Tunes  
CD/Radio onto Stand pressing it

backward and into Slot, then  
lifting up slightly until it clicks

POWER ON  
When battery is connected for the first time or battery has been reinstalled:  
1. The LCD Display shows the following:  
2. Power ON Button is pressed on, the  
unit defaults to TUNER Function, FM band.  
Afterward when the Power ON is pressed on, the previously  
chosen function will be displayed.  
CLOCK SETTING  
1. Press MODE Button, to display Clock.  
2. Press MEMORY Button, HOUR digit will flash.  
Press [᭤᭤l] Forward / [l᭣᭣ ] Backward Button to set the hour on  
the Clock, watching for “AM” or “PM.”

3. Press MEMORY Button again, MINUTE digit will flash.  
Press [᭤᭤l] / [l᭣᭣ ] Button to set the minute.  
AM

4. Press MEMORY Button once more, flashing stops and the  
time is set.  
NOTE: If Button is not pressed for several seconds, this mode  
is released automatically.  
TIMER OPERATION  
The Timer Function allows you to program the Radio to automatically  
turn on/off at a set time.  
Timer Setting:  
1. Press MODE Button to display the Clock.  
2. Press MODE Button again, to set the TIMER ON Indicator flashing,  
then press the MEMORY Button until the HOUR digit flashes.  
Press [᭤᭤l] / [l᭣᭣ ] Button to select the desired hour.  
Press the MEMORY Button again, and the MINUTE digit will flash.  
Press the [᭤᭤l] / [l᭣᭣ ] Button to select the desired minute. This  
will be the time the CD/Radio will turn on.

3. Press MODE Button again, the TIMER OFF is shown:  
4. Press the MEMORY Button until the HOUR digit flashes. Press  
[᭤᭤l] / [l᭣᭣ ] Button to select the desired hour.  
Press the MEMORY Button again, and the MINUTE digit will  
flash. Press the [᭤᭤l] / [l᭣᭣ ] Button to select the desired minute.  
This will be the time the CD/Radio will turn off.  
5. Press MODE Button to return to Display.  
NOTE: If Button is not pressed for several seconds, this  
mode is released automatically.  
TO ACTIVATE TIMER FUNCTION  
1. Press MODE Button, the Clock will be displayed:  
2. Press TIMER Button, the TIMER Indicator appears on the  
LCD Display.  
3. The TIMER will turn on the function last used, either the last radio  
station will broadcast or the last CD setting will play.  
VOLUME CONTROL  
Adjust the VOLUME UP ( + ) / DOWN ( - ) Button to a comfortable  
listening sound level.

RADIO OPERATION  
1. Press POWER Button to turn unit on.  
2. Press the TUNER Button to select RADIO Mode.  
AM  
3. Press and release the BAND Button to select desired radio  
station (FM/AM).  
4. Press and hold the TUNING / SKIP ( ᭤᭤l l᭣᭣ ) Button briefly to  
search up and down (Auto Scan) for the next receivable station.  
5. Press and release TUNING / SKIP ( ᭤᭤l l᭣᭣ ) Buttons to select  
the desired radio station.  
RADIO STATION MEMORY PRESETS  
You can store up to 20 FM and 20 AM favorite stations in memory.  
1. Select the desired radio station as described above.  
2. Press MEMORY Button on main unit, MEMORY Indicator flashes  
on the LCD Display.  
NOTE: If Button is not pressed for several seconds,  
MEMORY ENTRY Mode is released automatically.  
3. Press M-UP Button to select CH to store station into.  
4. Press MEMORY Button again to register.  
5. Repeat steps 1 - 4 store additional radio stations.  
TO RE-CALL STORED PRESET STATION  
1. Press TUNER Button to select RADIO Mode.  
2. Press BAND Button to select AM or FM.  
3. Press M-UP Button to select desired stored preset station.

CD OPERATION  
1. Press POWER Button to turn unit ON.  
2. Press the CD Button to select CD Mode. Press the  
OPEN/CLOSE Button to open the CD Door; insert a CD disc by  
gently pressing on the center part of the disc, so that it locks into  
place. With the label side facing forward, close the CD Door.  
3. Press PLAY/PAUSE lI Button. The LCD Display will show the  
first track number and play time will appear on the LCD Display  
and the CD will begin to play.  
NOTE: If there is no disc in the CD Compartment and CD  
select Button is pressed. The LCD will show “No disc.”  
4. Press PLAY/PAUSE lI Button again to PAUSE playback  
temporarily. The LCD Display will show the following:  
During PAUSE, the PLAY and playing time will flash. Press it  
again to resume playback.  
5. Press and release the SKIP ᭤᭤l (Forward) or l᭣᭣ (Backward)  
Button to skip forward or backward to the desired track.  
NOTE: If batteries are low, it may still play Radio but not CD  
Player and Display may show:  
Try replacing with fresh, new batteries.

MEMORY CD PLAY FUNCTIONS  
The CD Player can be programmed to play up to 20 tracks in the  
order desired.  
1. Press the POWER Button to turn ON, and insert a disc.  
2. Before setting, CD PLAY Function should be set to STOP Mode.  
3. Press MEMORY Button to select program mode, MEMORY  
Indicator appears on the LCD Display and TRACK & MEMORY  
Indicator are flashing. The LCD Display shows:  
NOTE: If Button is not pressed for several seconds, the  
MEMORY PROGRAM Mode is released automatically. If this  
occurs before you have completed programming, simply press  
MEMORY again to advance to where you left off.  
4. Press SKIP ᭤᭤l (Forward) Button to select track number  
into memory.  
5. Press MEMORY Button to store the track.  
6. Repeat steps 4 - 5 to program additional tracks up to a  
maximum of 20 tracks.  
7. Press PLAY/PAUSE lI Button to start MEMORY Play. The CD  
Player will play back the tracks in the order programmed.  
IMPORTANT: If the STOP KEY ( ᭿ ) is pressed at any time  
during Steps 3 - 6 then all memory is cleared.

INFORMATION CONCERNING COMPACT DISCS  
1. Usable compact discs. Use a compact  
disc bearing the mark as shown:  
2. Note on handling discs. Removing the  
disc from its storage case and loading it.

• Lift out without touching the recorded surface. Press the disc  
gently to insert it.  
• Do not touch the rainbow color reflecting recorded surface.  
• Do not stick paper or write anything on the label surface.  
• Do not bend the disc.  
3. Storage. For storage, be sure to return a disc to its case.  
• Do not expose discs to direct sunlight, high temperatures such  
as from a heater, high humidity, or dusty places.  
4. Cleaning a disc. Before operation, wipe off dust, dirt and  
fingerprints on the surface with a soft cloth. The disc should be  
cleaned from inward to outward. Never use thinner, benzene,  
analog record cleaner or anti-static spray.

INSTALLATION  
WALL MOUNTING WITH ADHESIVE

1. Select a spot on the wall that is  
as smooth as possible, such as  
a smooth ceramic tile.  
Thoroughly clean the spot of all  
DC  
soap, oil or other films using a  
household cleaning solvent  
such as Acetone or nail polish  
remover. DO NOT use the tile  
cleaner or other wax-based  
substances. Allow area to dry  
completely. Room temperature  
should be at 60 to 70ºF.

2. For best results, hold adhesive tube  
(supplied) at a 45-degree angle and apply sealant to Mounting  
Plate, approximately 1/8” bead and 1/4” from edges. Use  
entire contents. If additional adhesive is required, use silicone  
caulking compound or you may order extra adhesive packets.

3. Place Mounting Plate against clean wall surface using enough  
pressure to displace air, but not adhesive.  
4. Allow adhesive to cure for 24 hours.  
5. Slide the Radio onto the secured Mounting Plate.

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY  
This Salton, Inc. product warranty extends to the original consumer purchaser of the product.  
Warranty Duration: This product is warranted to the original consumer purchaser for a  
period of one (1) year from the original purchase date.  
Warranty Coverage: This product is warranted against defective materials or  
workmanship. This warranty is void if the product has been damaged by accident, in  
shipment, unreasonable use, misuse, neglect, improper service, commercial use, repairs  
by unauthorized personnel or other causes not arising out of defects in materials or  
workmanship. This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in  
the USA, and does not extend to any units which have been used in violation of written  
instructions furnished by Salton, Inc., or to units which have been altered or modified or  
to damage to products or parts thereof which have had the serial number removed,  
altered, defaced or rendered illegible.  
Warranty Disclaimers: This warranty is in lieu of all warranties expressed or implied and  
no representative or person is authorized to assume for Salton, Inc. any other liability in  
connection with the sale of our products. There shall be no claims for defects or failure of  
performance or product failure under any theory of tort, contract or commercial law including,  
but not limited to, negligence, gross negligence, strict liability, breach of warranty and breach of  
contract. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of implied warranties or  
consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.  
Salton, Inc. is not responsible or liable for indirect, special or consequential damages arising out  
of or in connections with the use or performance of the product or other damages with respect  
to loss of property, or loss of revenues or profit.  
Legal Remedies: This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other  
rights that vary from state to state.  
Warranty Performance: During the above one-year warranty period, a product with a  
defect will be either repaired or replaced with a reconditioned comparable unit (at Salton,  
Inc.s option) when the product is returned to the Salton, Inc. facility listed below. The  
repaired or replacement product will be in warranty for the balance of the one-year  
warranty period and an additional one-month period. No charge will be made for such  
repair or replacement.  
Service and Repair  
If service is required, you should first call toll-free 1-800-233-9054 between the hours of  
8:00 am and 5:00 pm Central Standard Time and ask for CONSUMER SERVICE. Please refer  
to Model WT51 when you call.  
In-Warranty Service for a product covered under the warranty period, no charge is made  
for service and return postage. Please return the product insured, packaged with  
sufficient protection, and postage and insurance prepaid to the address listed below. Call  
for return authorization.  
Out-of- Warranty Service: There will be charges rendered for repairs made to the product  
after the expiration of the aforesaid one (1) year warranty period, after purchaser is  
advised appropriately. Include $6.00 (U.S.) for return shipping and handling.  
Salton, Inc. cannot assume responsibility for loss or damage during incoming shipment.  
For your protection, carefully package the product for shipment and insure it with the  
carrier. Be sure to enclose the following items with your unit: any accessories related to  
your problem; your full return address and daytime phone number; a note describing the  
problem you experienced; a copy of your sales receipt or other proof of purchase to  
determine warranty status. C.O.D. shipments cannot be accepted.
