Unplug and clean the unit if not in use for an extended period of time.  
When used in a car, the unit must be switched to OFF and unplugged if the car’s  
engine is turned off. Otherwise, you may drain your car battery.  
WARNING: This wine cooler is equipped with polarized plug (one blade  
is wider than the other). The plug is intended to fit into a power outlet  
only one way, with the wide blade in the wide slot. This is a safety  
feature; if you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try  
reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified  
electrician.  
DO NOT DEFEAT THE SAFETY PURPOSE OF THE POLARIZED  
PLUG.

NOTE:  
For best results, leave out of direct sunlight. In the cooling mode, the wine cooler cools  
approximately 25°F (14°C) lower than the surrounding temperature.  
The heating function can keep the unit as warm as 126°F (52°C), but the temperature  
would be 2-3F higher than what you set to get the best heating result.  
NOTE:  
The wine cooler fits four traditional size bottles, capacity may differ depending on bottle  
size.

Operating Instructions  
1) Clean the inside of the wine cooler with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent.  
2) Set the HOT/OFF/COLD switch on back to OFF.  
3) Connect the AC adapter to the back of the unit, and then plug the AC adapter  
into a grounded 115V 60Hz power outlet. Or, if using in a vehicle, connect the  
DC power cord to the back of the unit and then plug into any standard vehicle  
cigarette lighter socket.  
4) HOT/OFF/COLD switch operation:  
a) When the switch is on COLD, the green light will turn on, indicating the unit is  
cooling.  
b) When the switch is on HOT, the red light will turn on, indicating the unit is  
heating.  
NOTE: When switching between COLD and HOT, set the unit at OFF for five  
minutes.

To set the temperature:  
a) For cooling, press COLD once. The temperature range is 39-82°F. However,  
the unit can only cool 25°F below the surrounding temperature. For heating,  
press HOT once. The temperature range is 86-126°F.  
b) When the temperature is blinking, press the up and down buttons to select  
the desired temperature.  
c) The display shows the current temperature. Once selected, the wine cooler  
will begin cooling/heating to the set temperature.  
6) To change the display from Celsius to Fahrenheit, or Fahrenheit to Celsius, hold  
the up button for 2 seconds.  
7) Unplug the wine cooler when not in use.  
Maintenance  
1) Set the switch on back to OFF. Unplug the unit and let it cool completely.  
2) To keep the wine cooler clean, the exterior may be cleaned with a soft, damp  
cloth. You may use a mild detergent if necessary. After cleaning, dry the unit with  
a soft cloth. CAUTION: Do not let liquid enter the beverage center.  
3) Do not use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powders, furniture polish, or rough  
brushes to clean the wine cooler. This may cause damage or deterioration to the  
surface of the unit.  
4) Do not immerse the wine cooler in water.  
5) Wait until the unit is completely dry before use.  
Storage  
Store the wine cooler in a cool, dry location when not in use. Preferably, to prevent dust  
and dirt build-up, use the old packaging to repack the unit.  
Troubleshooting  
WINE COOLER WILL NOT WORK  
1)  
If using AC adapter, check if the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet, if  
not, plug in. If using DC power cord, confirm that it is plugged into a cigarette  
lighter socket.  
2)  
Check if electricity to the main fuse is working.  
3) Check if the back switch is on COLD or HOT by confirming that one of the  
corresponding indicator lights is on. If back switch is on OFF, change to COLD or  
HOT.  
WARRANTY  
One Year Limited Warranty  
Soleus International Inc. warrants the accompanying Soleus Air JC-4 to be free of  
defects in material and workmanship for the applications specified in its operation  
instruction for a period of ONE (1) year from the date of original retail purchase in the  
United States or Canada.  
If the unit exhibits a defect in normal use, Soleus International Inc. will, at its option,  
either repair or replace it, free of charge within a reasonable time after the unit is  
returned during the warranty period.  
As a condition to any warranty service obligation, the consumer must present this  
Warranty Certificate along with a copy of the original purchase invoice.  
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:  
1) Damage, accidental or otherwise, to the unit while in the possession of a consumer  
not caused by a defect in material or workmanship.  
2) Damage caused by consumer misuse, tampering, or failure to follow the care and  
special handling provisions in the instructions.  
3) Damage to the finish of the case, or other appearance parts caused by wear.  
4) Damage caused by repairs or alterations of the unit by anyone other than those  
authorized by Soleus International Inc.  
5) Freight and Insurance cost for the warranty service.  
ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANT  
ABILITY ARE LIMITED TO ONE-YEAR DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED  
WARRANTY. SOLEUS INTERNATIONAL INC. DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR  
CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES AND IN NO EVENT SHALL SOLEUS  
INTERNATIONAL INC’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE RETAIL VALUE OF THE UNIT FOR  
BREACH OF ANY WRITTEN OR IMPLIED WARRANTY WITH RESPECT TO THIS  
UNIT.  
As some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential  
damages, or do not allow limitation on implied warranties, the above limitations and  
exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you  
may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
