the unit, the c ompre ssor will not ope ra te for 3 minute s to

ma inta in the room te mpe ra ture a s se t . In COOL mode , if the  
room te mpe ra ture is highe r tha n the se tting, the c ompre ssor  
will a utoma tic a lly turn on to provide a c ooling e ffe c t. On the  
othe r ha nd, if the room te mpe ra ture is lowe r tha n the se tting,  
the c ompre ssor will a utoma tic a lly turn off to stop c ooling  
ope ra tion. In HEAT mode , if the room te mpe ra ture is lowe r  
tha n the se tting, the c ompre ssor will a utoma tic a lly turn on to  
provide a he a ting e ffe c t. If the room te mpe ra ture is highe r  
tha n the se tting, the c ompre ssor will a utoma tic a lly turn off to  
stop he a ting ope ra tion. Howe ve r,the indoor fa n will c ontinue  
to c irc ula te a ir e ve n if the c ompre ssor is turne d off.
