1.4 四个状态 LED
HDD 访问 LED
系统访问 HDD 驱动器时，此 LED 将变亮。
大写锁定 LED
键盘处于大写锁定模式时，此 LED 将变亮。在此模式下，键入的所有字符
都为大写形式。
滚动锁定 LED
键盘处于滚动锁定模式时，该 LED 将变亮。在此模式下，可于使用箭头滚
动键滚动文档时锁定光标位置。
数字锁定 LED
键盘处于数字锁定模式时，此 LED 将变亮。在此模式下，可使用嵌入式数
字键盘。

1.6 PCMCIA 弹出柄注意事项
“PCMCIA 卡”柄缩入系统单元
“PCMCIA 卡”柄伸出系统单元。
请遵守下列安全措施：
• 确保在任何情况下 PCMCIA 弹出柄均不会伸出，除非要使用该柄弹出 PCMCIA
卡。伸出的柄易受外部干扰，如喷墨打印机或外接键盘的撞击。

四合一插槽舱门开启。
请遵守下列安全措施：
• 确保在任何时候四合一插槽舱门均处于关闭状态，除非要插入或取出这些类型的
卡（MS 卡、SD-IO 卡、SD 卡、XD 卡）。完成插入、取出操作后，请立即关

第 2 章 电池
2.1 电池组
本笔记本电脑支持高能可充电锂离子 (Li-Ion) 及聚合物电池组。在启用 Windows
电源选项时，充满电的 Li-Ion 电池组通常可支持约 3 小时的运行。不过，配置（CPU、
HDD、内存等）及系统用度（尤其是 I/O 活动）的差异可能会对运行时间长短产生
很大影响。
2.2 电池插槽
您的笔记本电脑支持双电池运行。有两个电池插槽。插槽 A（使用 Li-Ion 电池）位
于显示器面板的左/右折叶之间。插槽 B（使用聚合物电池）位于系统单元底部，在
插槽 A 附近。
注意：有关插入和取出电池的详细信息，请参阅第 2.9 章和第 2.10 章。

2.3 给电池组充电
您的笔记本电脑支持联机和脱机充电。请按以下步骤为电池充电：
• 确保笔记本电脑中安装了电池组。
• 将交流适配器的一头连接到笔记本电脑，另一头连接到电插座。
电池组充电过程中，其电池 LED（位于显示器面板底部）将变亮，颜色呈琥珀色或
绿色。有关 LED 的详细信息，请参阅第 1.3 章。笔记本电脑处于关机状态时，为已
耗尽电量的插槽 A 电池组（使用 Li-Ion 电池）充电需要三个小时。
注意：如果系统中有两个电池组，将先为插槽 A 电池组充电。插槽 A 电池组充电
完毕后，系统会开始为插槽 B 电池组充电。
2.4 问答集
问： 充电时感觉触控板附近很热。这种情况正常吗？
答： 充放电期间，电池会发热。笔记本电脑内部有保护电路，可防止过热。
用户不必担心。
问： 电池工作时间达不到标示时间。这是为什么？
答： 电池对热敏感，只有在电池及其环境温度保持在 15-25°C (59-77°F) 范
围之内时，才能充至最大电量。充电过程中温度与此范围的偏离越大，
电池充满的可能性便越小。要给电池组充满电量，用户需要拔下交流适
配器，以使其降温。待其冷却后，插入交流适配器，再次开始充电。

问： 有几天没有使用备用电池。即使已将其充满电，所余电量却不如新充电
的电池多。这是为什么？
答： 不充电时，电池会自行放电（Li-Ion 电池每天放电 1%）。为确保电池
组充满电量，请在使用前充电。应尽可能始终将电池置于笔记本电脑中
并连接交流适配器。
问： 有几个月没有使用备用电池。在给它充电时遇到麻烦。
答： 如果使电池组自行放电的时间过久（如三个月以上），电池电压会变得
过低，而需要进行预充电（将电池电压升到足够高的水平），才能自动
（仅限 Li-Ion 电池）恢复其正常的快速充电。预充电可能需要 30 分
钟。快速充电通常需要 2~4 小时。

2.5 电池 LED
如果安装了两个电池组，而笔记本电脑未连接交流适配器，笔记本电脑将从插槽
B 电池组获得电能。插槽 B 电池组电量耗尽后，系统会自动切换到插槽 A 中的
电源。
为插槽 A 电池组充电时，LED 将变亮，颜色呈琥珀色；为插槽 B 电池组充电
时，LED 将变亮，颜色呈绿色；两个电池组都未充电时，LED 灭。如果电池有
错误，LED 将闪烁。
注意： 有关电池组 LED 的详细信息，请参阅第 1.3 章中的电池组 LED。
2.6 电池维护
为使电池组保持最大电量，应偶尔使笔记本电脑电池电量耗尽后再充电。
要完全耗尽电池电量，请断开交流适配器，让笔记本电脑消耗掉剩余的电池电量。
要加速耗尽电量，应尽可能多地使用 HDD，并将 LCD 设至最大亮度。电池电
量耗尽后，等待笔记本电脑（尤其是电池）冷却。冷却后的温度应在 15-25°C
(59-77°F) 范围内。然后插入交流适配器，给电池充电。

2.7 电量消耗
最新版 Windows 操作系统 Windows® XP 已整合了最先进的 ACPI (Advanced
Configuration Power Interface)（高级配置电源接口）电源管理方法。为充分利用
电池组的电量，建议您抽出一些时间大致了解一下操作系统的电源管理概念。
在 Windows® 操作系统中，可参照笔记本电脑采用的 Windows® 操作系统版本
浏览控制面板中的电源选项。此处不予详细说明。Windows® XP 中的电源选项
又细分为下列几项：
• 电源使用方案
• 警报
• 电表
• 高级
• 休眠
2.8 降低电量消耗
尽管您的笔记本电脑（还有操作系统）具有节电能力，仍可采取下列措施降低电
量消耗：
• 尽可能使用交流适配器。
• 调低 LCD 背景灯的亮度。屏幕过亮会加快电量消耗。
• 尽量使用 HDD 或 PCMCIA 驱动器读写文件，而不使用外接 USB FDD。
注意： 插槽 A 电池组应始终安装在其舱盒中。
注意： 如果未安装插槽 B 电池组，务请关上插槽 B 电池组的舱门。欲知此舱

S.O.DIMM 空闲内存模块插槽可供内存升级之用，最大可将内存升级至
1280MB。下表列出了所有可能的系统内存配置方式。
目前市场上有售的 DDR S.O.DIMM 有以下两种：PC2100 (DDR266) 和 PC2700
(DDR333)。如果系统同时安装了 PC2100 和 PC2700 S.O.DIMM，则总体速度会

The FCC with its action in ET Docket 93-62 has adopted a safety standard for human
exposure to radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic energy emitted by FCC certified
equipment. The Intel PRO/Wireless LAN MiniPCI Adapter products meet the Human
Exposure limits found in OET Bulletin 65, 2001, and ANSI/IEEE C95.1, 1992. Proper

U.S. Regulations Governing the Use of Modems
This equipment complies with Part 68 of the FCC Rules. On this equipment is a label that
contains, among other information, the FCC registration number and Ringer Equivalence
Number (REN) for this equipment. You must, upon request, provide this information to
your telephone company.
If your telephone equipment harms the telephone network, the Telephone Company may
discontinue your service temporarily. If possible, they will notify you in advance. But, if
advance notice is not practical, you will be notified as soon as possible. You will be
informed of your right to file a complaint with the FCC.
Your telephone company may make changes in its facilities, equipment, operations, or

This modem is also suitable for connection to Private Automatic Branch Exchange (PABX),
which return secondary proceeding indication.
If this modem is to be used with a PBX which has extension wiring owned by BT,
connection of the modem to the PBX can only be carried out by BT; or by the authorized
maintainer of the PBX unless the authorized maintainer has been given 14 days written
notice that the connection is to be made by another person; and that period of notification
has expired.
This modem is suitable for use only on telephone lines approved with Loop Disconnect or
Multi-Frequency Dialing Facilities.
Users of this modem are advised that the approval is for connection to the PSTN via the
telephone line interface supplied with it. Connection of a modem to the PSTN by any other
means will invalidate the approval.
There is no guarantee of correct functioning in all circumstances. Any difficulties should be
referred to your supplier.
Some network operators require that intended users of their network request permission to
connect and for the installation of an appropriate socket.
The Ringer Equivalence Number (REN) of this modem is 1. REN is a guide to the
maximum number of apparatus that can simultaneously be connected to one telephone line.
The REN value of each apparatuses is added together, and should not exceed 4. Unless
otherwise marked, a telephone is assumed to have a REN of 1.
