2.0 DESCRIPTION
The EH2400 medium security camera housing is designed to provide a low cost,
tamper resistant corner mount for fixed camera applications. The EH2400 may be
installed flush against a ceiling, or mid-wall, in high ceiling applications, without
compromising enclosure integrity. The smaller frontal area and reduced overall size
create an unobtrusive enclosure that is ideal for today’s smaller cameras. The
EH2400 will accommodate Pelco box cameras with vari-focal lenses that do not
exceed 8-inches (20.32 cm) in total length. Three conduit knockouts allow wires to
be delivered from the wall (either side) or ceiling.
Included in this package:
1
1
5/32-inch tamper resistant L key (p/n ZTHEXKEY5/32)
Camera mounting screw, 1/4-20 x .375 phillips pan head
(p/n ZH1/4-20X.375SPP)

3.0 INSTALLATION
Before mounting the EH2400, make certain that the mounting surface is capable of
supporting the weight of the enclosure plus camera and lens.
NOTE: The fasteners required to se-
cure the EH2400 (minimum 1/4-20
recommended) are not supplied.
Determine the location of the enclosure and means of delivering all necessary ca-
bling before beginning the installation process. Knockouts that will accommodate
1/2-inch or 3/4-inch conduit have been provided on both wall mounting surfaces
and the ceiling surface.
3.1 FLUSH CEILING OR MID-WALL CORNER MOUNT
To install the EH2400 do the following:
1. Remove the two (2) tamper resistant screws on the underside of the housing
(using the hex key included in this package) and separate the cover from the
mounting bracket. Remove the tilt table assembly.
2. Remove the appropriate knockout according to your installation and/or con-
duit connection.
3. Using the mounting bracket, mark and drill holes in the mounting surface.
4. If you are using conduit to route cabling to the enclosure, complete that por-
tion of the installation at this time, including routing all cabling.
5. Attach the enclosure with the required fasteners.
6. Mount the camera/lens to the tilt table assembly. Install the completed assem-
bly onto the mounting bracket.
7. Make all camera/lens connections and adjust the tilt table assembly and cam-
era lens as necessary.
8. Replace the cover. Check that all components clear the cover and that cam-
era angle and lens adjustments are satisfactory. When all adjustments are
complete, secure the cover with the provided hex key.
