PLACEMENT  
STUDIO 190/STUDIO 180/STUDIO 130  LEFT AND RIGHT CHANNELS  
For best results, place the speakers 6 – 10 feet (1.8m – 3m) apart. Angling the speakers toward the listening position can  
improve the stereo imaging. The speakers will produce the most accurate stereo soundstage when the angle between  
the listener and the speakers is between 40 and 60 degrees.

Generally, bass output will increase as the speaker is moved closer to a wall or corner.

from the card and apply them to the bottoms of the speakers.

STUDIO 120c  
You should place the center speaker directly above or below the center of your TV screen. The speaker’s center should  
be no more than 2 feet (61cm) above or below the tweeters of the front left and front right speakers. If your TV set is  
deep enough, you can set the center speaker on top of the TV, with the speaker’s front edge even with the TV’s front  
edge.

STUDIO 130  SURROUND CHANNELS 5.1CHANNEL SYSTEM  
When you use Studio 130 speakers as surround-channel speakers in a 5.1-channel system, place them slightly behind  
the listening position, facing each other. Ideally, they should be 5 – 6 feet (1.5m – 1.8m) above the floor. An alternate  
location would be on a wall behind the listening position, facing forward. The surround speakers should not call  
attention to themselves while they’re playing. Experiment with their placement until you hear a diffuse, ambient sound  
accompanying the sounds that you hear from the front left, front right and center speakers.

STUDIO 130  SURROUND CHANNELS 7.1CHANNEL SYSTEM  
When you use Studio 130 speakers as surround-channel speakers in a 7.1-channel system, place the surround side  
speakers directly to the sides of the listening position, at least 5 – 6 feet (1.5m – 1.8m) above the floor. Place the surround  
back speakers on the wall behind the listening position, also at least 5 – 6 feet (1.5m – 1.8m) above the floor and 3 – 6  
feet (0.9m – 1.8m) apart.

CONNECTIONS  
CAUTION: Make sure that all of the system’s electrical components are turned OFF (and preferably  
unplugged from their AC outlets) before making any connections.  
Speakers and amplifiers have corresponding positive and negative (“+” and “–”) connection terminals. All Studio 1 series  
speakers have connection terminals that are marked “+” and “–” on the terminal-cup assembly. Additionally, the “+”  
terminals have red markings, while the “–” terminals have black markings.  
To ensure proper polarity, connect each “+” terminal on the back of the amplifier or receiver to the respective “+” (red)  
terminal on each speaker. Connect the “–” terminals in a similar way. Do not reverse polarities (i.e., “+” to “–” or “–” to “+”)  
when making connections. Doing so will cause poor stereo imaging and diminished bass performance.  
IMPORTANT: Make sure the (+) and (–) wires or connectors do not touch each other or the other terminal.  
Touching wires can cause a short circuit that can damage your receiver or amplifier.  
BASIC SINGLEWIRE CONNECTION  
Connect the amplifier to each speaker as shown in the illustration below.  
For the Studio 190 and Studio 180 speakers, you can use either set of terminals on the connector panel.  
IMPORTANT: Do not remove the metal jumpers from between the two sets of terminals when connecting  
the speaker wires.

BIWIRE CONNECTION STUDIO 190/STUDIO 180  
The Studio 190 and Studio 180 connection assemblies have two sets of input terminals that are connected by metal  
jumper bars. The upper set of terminals is for the midrange/tweeter, and the lower set of terminals is for the woofer(s).  
This arrangement allows you to bi-wire the speakers using a single stereo amplifier or using two stereo amplifiers.  
Bi-wiring can offer sonic advantages and more flexibility in power-amplifier selection over a conventional single-wire  
connection.  
Before bi-wiring the speakers, remove the jumper bars.

CARING FOR YOUR SPEAKERS

Wipe the cabinet with a clean, dry cloth to remove dust. Damp cloths may dull the cabinet’s finish. Do not use volatile  
liquids such as benzene, paint thinner or alcohol on the cabinet.

Do not spray insecticide near the cabinet.  
To remove dust from the grille fabric, use a vacuum cleaner set to low suction.  
Do not wash the grilles in water, as it may fade the color or make it uneven.  
If the surfaces of the woofer and midrange cones become dusty, you can carefully sweep them clean with a soft, dry  
calligraphy brush or paint brush. Do not use a damp cloth.

Beste Ergebnisse erreichen Sie, wenn Sie die Lautsprecher in einem Abstand von 1,8 – 3,0 Metern voneinander aufstellen.  
Richten Sie die Lautsprecher zur Hörposition hin aus, um das Klangpanorama zu verbessern. Der Winkel zueinander sollte  
dabei zwischen 40 und 60 Grad liegen

STUDIO 130  SURROUNDLAUTSPRECHER IN EINEM 5.1KANALHEIMKINO  
Setzen Sie den Studio 130 als Surround-Lautsprecher in einem 5.1-Kanal-Heimkino ein, sollten Sie ihn leicht hinter Ihrer  
Hörposition und zueinander ausgerichtet platzieren. Idealerweise platzieren Sie die Boxen in einer Höhe zwischen 1,5 -  
1,8 Metern. Alternativ können Sie die Surround-Boxen an der Rückwand und nach vorne ausgerichtet montieren. Stellen  
Sie die Lautstärke der Surround-Lautsprecher so ein, dass sie nicht überbetont spielen. Experimentieren Sie mit der  
Platzierung im Raum bis die Lautsprecher, ein diffuses, räumliches Klangbild wiedergeben, welches die Klangbühne der  
beiden Frontlautsprecher unterstützt.

Setzen Sie den Studio 130 als Surround-Lautsprecher in einem 7.1-Kanal-Heimkino ein, müssen Sie ihn seitlich neben  
Ihre Hörposition in einer Höhe zwischen 1,5 und 1,8 Metern platzieren. Die Surround-Back-Lautsprecher gehören an die

VERKABELUNG  
ACHTUNG: Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass alle elektronischen Komponenten Ihrer Heimkino-Anlage  
vollständig ausgeschaltet (besser noch vom Stromnetz getrennt) sind BEVOR Sie mit der Verkabelung der  
Lautsprecher beginnen  
Die Anschlussterminals an den Lautsprechern und am Verstärker sind mit entsprechend gekennzeichneten  
Befestigungsklemmen („+“ und „–“) versehen. Dies gilt selbstverständlich auch für die Lautsprecher der Studio 1 Serie.  
Zusätzlich sind die „+“-Klemmen rot und die „–“-Klemmen schwarz markiert.  
Verbinden Sie den Plus-Pol (+) des Lautsprecherausgangs auf der Rückseite Ihres Verstärkers mit dem Plus-Pol des  
jeweiligen Lautsprechers. Verfahren Sie mit den negativen Klemmen ähnlich. Achten Sie bitte darauf, dass Sie die Pole  
nicht vertauschen: Verbinden Sie immer Plus mit Plus und Minus mit Minus. Vertauschen Sie die Pole, werden Raumklang  
und Basswiedergabe schlechter  
WICHTIG: Achten Sie bitte darauf, dass sich die positiven und negativen Leitungen nicht berühren  
(Kurzschluss).  
SINGLEWIREVERKABELUNG  
Verbinden Sie den Verstärker mit jedem Lautsprecher wie unten angezeigt.  
Für die Modelle Studio 190und Studio 180 gilt: Sie können eines der beiden Anschlussterminals frei wählen.  
WICHTIG: Entfernen Sie bitte die Kurzschlussbrücken nicht, die die beiden Anschlussterminals verbinden.

BIWIREVERBINDUNGEN STUDIO 190/STUDIO 180  
Modelle Studio 190 und Studio 180 sind mit doppelt ausgeführten Terminalanschlüssen versehen, die mittels zweier  
Metallstreifen verbunden sind (siehe Illustration unten links). Das obere Klemmenpaar ist mit dem Mittel- und dem  
Hochtöner verbunden, während das untere Klemmenpaar mit dem Bass-Chassis verkabelt ist. Auf diese Weise können  
Sie den Bass und das Mittel-/Hochtonchassis mit je einer separaten Endstufe antreiben. Diese Methode (auch Bi-Wiring  
genannt) bietet gegenüber der klassischen Verkabelung akustische Vorteile aber auch höhere Flexibilität bei der Wahl der  
Endstufe.  
Möchten Sie die Lautsprecher mit der Bi-Wiring-Methode verkabeln, müssen Sie unbedingt die Kurzschlussbrücken  
entfernen.

Reinigen Sie die Lautsprechergehäuse mit einem sauberen, trockenen Staubtuch. Verwenden Sie feuchte Tücher,

Pour obtenir de meilleurs résultats, distancez les enceintes de 6 à 10' (1,8 à 3 m). Positionner les enceintes à un certain angle  
par rapport à la position d'écoute peut améliorer l'image stéréo. Les enceintes offrent une scène audio plus précise lorsque  
l'angle entre l'auditeur et les enceintes est compris entre 40 et 60 degrés.

centre de l'enceinte ne doit pas être de plus de 2' (61 cm) au-dessus ou au-dessous des haut-parleurs d'aigus avant de  
gauche et de droite. Si votre téléviseur est assez profond, vous pouvez placer l'enceinte centrale au-dessus du téléviseur,

STUDIO 130  CANAUX D'AMBIANCE CONFIGURATION 5.1  
Lorsque vous utilisez les enceintes Studio 130 comme canaux d'ambiance dans une configuration 5.1, placez-les  
légèrement derrière la position d'écoute, face à face. L'idéal serait qu'elles soient placées à 5' – 6' (1,5 m – 1,8 m) au-dessus  
du plancher. Une autre possibilité serait de les placer face à face, sur un mur situé derrière la position d'écoute. Les  
enceintes d'ambiance ne doivent pas attirer l'attention sur elles-mêmes pendant qu'elles jouent. Testez leur installation  
jusqu'à ce que ce que vous entendiez un son diffus, ambiant accompagnant les sons qui proviennent des enceintes de  
gauche, de droite, et de l'enceinte centrale.

BRANCHEMENTS  
ATTENTION: Assurez-vous que tous les composants électriques de l'appareil sont éteints ( et de préférence  
débranchés de la prise de courant alternatif) avant de procéder aux branchements.  
Les enceintes et les amplificateurs ont des bornes positives et négatives correspondantes (« + » et « – »). Toutes les  
enceintes de la série Studio 1 ont des bornes indiquées par « + » et « – » sur la coupelle à bornes. De plus, les bornes « + »  
portent des marques rouges, tandis que les bornes « – » portent des marques noires.  
Pour que la polarité soit correcte, connectez chaque borne « + » de l'arrière de l'amplificateur ou du récepteur à la borne «  
+ » (rouge) de chaque enceinte. Connectez les bornes « – » de la même manière. Ne renversez pas les polarités ( c.-à-d. « +  
» en « – » ou « – » en « + ») lors des branchements. Cela va détériorer l'image stéréo et diminuer le rendement de la basse.  
IMPORTANT : Veillez à ce que les câbles (+) et (–) ou connecteurs ne se touchent pas, ni ne touchent un  
autre terminal. Un contact entre les câbles peut causer un court-circuit susceptible d'endommager votre  
récepteur ou votre amplificateur.  
BRANCHEMENT UNIFILAIRE DE BASE  
Branchez l'amplificateur à chaque enceinte comme le montre l'illustration ci-dessous.  
Pour les enceintes Studio 190 et 180, vous pouvez utiliser chaque groupe de bornes du panneau de connexions.  
IMPORTANT : Évitez de retirer les cavaliers métalliques séparant les deux groupes de bornes lors du  
branchement des câbles de l'enceinte.

BRANCHEMENT BIFILAIRE STUDIO 190/STUDIO 180  
Les assemblages de Studio 190 et Studio 180 ont deux groupes de bornes d'entrée qui sont connectées par des cavaliers  
métalliques. Le groupe de bornes du haut est celui du haut-parleur médial/des aigus, et le groupe du bas est celui du haut-  
parleur des graves. Cette disposition vous permet d'effectuer un branchement bifilaire des enceintes en utilisant un seul  
amplificateur stéréophonique ou deux amplificateurs stéréophoniques. Le branchement bifilaire peut, comparativement  
au branchement unifilaire conventionnel, offrir des avantages sonores et plus de flexibilité à l'amplificateur de puissance

Para obtener los mejores resultados, coloque los altavoces de 1.8 m a 3 m de distancia. El posicionamiento de los altavoces  
hacia el ángulo de escucha puede mejorar la imagen estéreo. Los altavoces estéreo producirán el escenario de sonido más  
preciso cuando el ángulo entre el oyente y los altavoces sea de entre 40 y 60 grados.

STUDIO 130  CANALES ENVOLVENTES SISTEMA DE CANALES 5.1  
Cuando utilice los altavoces Studio 130 como altavoces de canales envolventes en un sistema de canales 5.1, colóquelos  
ligeramente detrás de la posición de escucha, uno frente al otro. Idealmente, deben situarse entre 1,5 m y 1,8 m por  
encima del suelo. Una ubicación alternativa sería la de una pared posterior a la posición de escucha, mirando hacia  
adelante. Los altavoces de sonido envolvente no deben llamar la atención sobre sí mismos mientras estén funcionando.  
Experimente con su colocación hasta que escuche un sonido ambiente y difuso que acompañe a los sonidos que usted  
oiga salir de los altavoces frontal izquierdo, frontal derecho y central.

STUDIO 130  CANALES ENVOLVENTES SISTEMA DE CANALES 7.1  
Cuando utilice los altavoces Studio 130 como altavoces de canales envolventes en un sistema de canales 7.1, coloque los  
altavoces envolventes laterales directamente a los laterales de la posición de escucha, por lo menos de 1,5 m a 1,8 m por

CONEXIONES  
PRECAUCIÓN: Asegúrese de que todos los componentes del sistema eléctrico estén apagados (y de  
preferencia desconectados de las tomas de corriente alterna) antes de realizar cualquier conexión.  
Altavoces y amplificadores disponen de sus correspondientes terminales de conexión positivos y negativos ("+" y "–").  
Todos los altavoces de la serie Studio 1 disponen de terminales de conexión que marcan "+" y "–" en la copa de montaje de  
terminales. Además, los terminales "+" cuentan con marcas de color rojo, mientras que los terminales "–" tienen marcas de  
color negro.  
Para garantizar la correcta polaridad, conecte cada terminal "+" en la parte posterior del amplificador o receptor a los  
respectivos terminales "+" (rojos) de cada altavoz. Conecte los terminales "–" de manera similar. No invierta la polaridad  
(es decir, "+" con "–" ó "–" con "+") al hacer las conexiones. Si lo hace, se producirán imágenes estéreo pobres y de bajos  
disminuidos.  
IMPORTANTE: asegúrese de que los cables o conectores (+) y (-) no se toquen entre sí ni que toquen el otro  
terminal. Tocar los cables puede provocar un cortocircuito que puede dañar su receptor o amplificador.  
CONEXIÓN UNI-CABLE BÁSICA  
Conecte el amplificador a cada altavoz como se muestra en la ilustración de abajo.  
Para altavoces Studio 190 y Studio 180, usted puede usar cualquier conjunto de terminales del panel de conectores.  
IMPORTANTE: no retire los puentes de metal de entre los dos conjuntos de terminales al conectar los cables

CONEXIÓN BICABLE STUDIO 190/STUDIO 180  
Los ensamblajes de conexión para Studio 190 y Studio 180 tienen dos conjuntos de terminales de entrada que están  
conectados por barras de metal de puente. El conjunto superior de terminales es para el rango medio / tweeter, y el  
conjunto inferior de terminales es para el woofer (s). Este arreglo le permite bicablear los altavoces con un amplificador  
estéreo único o el uso de dos amplificadores estéreo. El bi-cableado puede ofrecer ventajas acústicas y una mayor  
flexibilidad en el amplificador de potencia de selección sobre una conexión uni-cable convencional.

EL CUIDADO DE LOS ALTAVOCES

Limpie la caja con un paño seco y limpio para eliminar el polvo. Los paños húmedos pueden opacar el acabado del  
mueble. No utilice líquidos volátiles como benceno, disolvente de pintura o alcohol en el mueble.

Para quitar el polvo de la tela de rejilla, use una aspiradora de succión baja.  
No lave las rejillas en agua, ya que puede desaparecer el color o éste puede desnivelarse.  
Si la superficie de los conos woofer (graves) y de gama media se llenan de polvo, usted puede cepillarlos  
cuidadosamente y limpiarlos con un pincel de caligrafía seco y suave o con una simple brochita. No utilice un paño

Per risultati ottimali, collocare i diffusori ad una distanza di 6-10 piedi (1,8 m - 3m). Rivolgere gli altoparlanti verso la  
posizione di ascolto può migliorare l'immagine stereo. I diffusori produrranno l'effetto stereo più accurato quando  
l'angolo tra l'ascoltatore e gli altoparlanti è tra i 40 e i 60 gradi.

Si consiglia di posizionare il diffusore centrale direttamente sopra o sotto il centro del vostro schermo TV. Il centro del  
diffusore dovrebbe essere non più di 2 piedi (61 centimetri) al di sopra o al di sotto dei tweeter dei diffusori anteriori

STUDIO 130  CANALI SURROUND IMPIANTO A 5.1 CANALI  
Quando si utilizzano i diffusori Studio 130 come canali surround in un sistema di diffusori a 5.1 canali, li si deve mettere  
leggermente dietro alla posizione di ascolto, uno di fronte all'altro. Idealmente, essi dovrebbero essere 5-6 piedi (1,5  
m - 1,8 m) sopra il pavimento. Un posizione alternativa potrebbe essere su un muro dietro la posizione di ascolto, rivolti  
in avanti. I diffusori surround non dovrebbero richiamare l'attenzione su se stessi mentre stanno riproducendo il suono.

Quando si utilizzano i diffusori Studio 130 come canali surround in un sistema di diffusori a 7.1 canali, collocare i diffusori  
surround laterali direttamente ai lati della posizione di ascolto, almeno 5-6 piedi (1,5 m - 1,8 m) sopra il pavimento.

COLLEGAMENTI  
ATTENZIONE: assicurarsi che tutti i componenti elettrici del sistema siano spenti (e preferibilmente  
scollegati dalle prese AC) prima di effettuare qualsiasi collegamento.  
Altoparlanti e amplificatori hanno corrispondenti terminali di connessione positivi e negativi ("+" e "–"). Tutti i diffusori  
della serie Studio 1 sono dotati di terminali che sono contrassegnati "+" e "-" sul gruppo coppa terminale. Inoltre, i  
terminali "+" hanno segni rossi, mentre i terminali "–" hanno segni neri.  
Per garantire la corretta polarità, collegare ogni terminale "+" sul retro dell'amplificatore o ricevitore al rispettivo "+"  
(rosso) di ogni diffusore. Collegare i terminali "–" in modo simile. Non invertite le polarità (ovvero, "+" a "–" o "-" a "+")  
quando si effettuano i collegamenti. Facendo questo si causerà un peggioramento dell'immagine stereo e prestazioni  
diminuite dei bassi.  
IMPORTANTE: assicurarsi che i cavi o connettori (+) e (–) non si tocchino tra loro né tocchino l'altro

COLLEGAMENTO IN MODALITÀ BIWIRING STUDIO 190/STUDIO 180  
I collegamenti di Studio 190 e Studio 180 sono due set di terminali di ingresso che sono collegati da barre di ponticelli in  
metallo. La serie di terminali superiore è per i diffusori midrange / tweeter, e il set di terminali inferiore è per il woofer (o i  
woofer). Questa disposizione permette di collegare in modalità BI-Wiring, cioè utilizzando due coppie di cavi, i diffusori  
usando un singolo amplificatore stereo o due amplificatori stereo. Il collegamento BI-Wiring può offrire vantaggi sonori  
e una maggiore flessibilità nella selezione dell'amplificatore di potenza rispetto a un collegamento tradizionale.

Pulire l'unità con un panno pulito e asciutto per rimuovere la polvere. Panni umidi possono opacizzare la finitura della

Для лучшего результата установите громкоговорители один от другого на расстоянии 1,8м– 3м. Регулировка угла  
ориентации громкоговорителей по отношению к позиции слушателя улучшает стерео эффект. Громкоговорители  
обеспечивают наилучшую стерео базу, когда угол между слушателем и громкоговорителями составляет от 40 до  
60 градусов.

этом центр центрального громкоговорителя должен быть не далее 61см от высокочастотных динамиков левого

При использовании громкоговорителей Studio 130 в системе пространственного звука 5.1, размещайте  
их чуть сзади позиции слушателя, друг напротив друга. Идеально было бы 1,5м – 1,8м над полом. Другая  
позиция – на стене позади позиции слушателя, лицом вперед. Громкоговорители пространственного звука  
во время работы не должны мешать друг другу. Попробуйте разные положения, пока не зазвучит разлитый,

ПОДКЛЮЧЕНИЕ  
ВНИМАНИЕ: перед любыми подключениями удостоверьтесь, что все устройства выключены (и  
предпочтительно отключены от розеток, где они были включены).  
Громкоговорители и усилители имеют соответствующие положительные и отрицательные (“+” и “–”) клеммы. Все  
Studio 1 серии громкоговорители имеют клеммы подключения, маркированные “+” и “–” на колодке клемм. Кроме  
того, клеммы “+” маркированы красным, а клеммы “–” маркированы черным.  
Для обеспечения полярности, подключайте каждую “+” клемму сзади усилителя или приемника к  
соответствующей клемме “+” (красный) соответствующего громкоговорителя. Клеммы “–” подключайте  
аналогично. Во время подключения не перепутайте полярности (т.е.“+” к “–” или “–” к “+”). В противном случае вы  
потеряете стерео эффект и низкие частоты.  
ВНИМАНИЕ: не касайтесь во включенном состоянии проводов или клемм (+) и (–), или других  
клемм. Такое прикосновение может вызвать короткое замыкание и повредить ваш приемник или  
усилитель.

Клеммные сборки Studio 190 и Studio 180 имеют два комплекта входных клемм, соединенных металлическими  
перемычками. Верхний комплект клемм предназначен для средне и высокочастотных динамиков, а нижний – для  
вуферов. Такое решение позволяет осуществить двухпроводное подключение громкоговорителей к одному или  
двум стерео усилителям. Двухпроводное подключение по сравнению с обычным однопроводным предлагает
