Cleaning and care  
Descaling the kettle  
Descaling extends the life of your kettle. Descal-  
ing period depends on the water hardness of  
your area.  
Caution

Never use petrol, solvents or abrasive clean-  
ers, metal objects or hard brushes to clean the  
appliance.  
1 Fill the kettle with water, up to three quarters of  
the maximum level.

Never put the appliance, base or power  
cord in water or any other liquid.  
2 Add white vinegar or lemon juice in the kettle  
up to the maximum level.  
1 Turn the appliance off and disconnect it from  
the wall socket.  
3 Boil the solution (refer to operation section).  
2 Let the appliance cool down completely.  
4 After the kettle has switched off, unplug the  
appliance.  
3 Use a damp soft cloth and a little mild cleanser  
to clean the exterior of the appliance.  
5 Leave the solution in the kettle for a few hours.

place and the two sides accurately fix on  
the corresponding locking lugs.  
8 Empty the kettle and again rinse it with water.

propriate for utensils. If you use a descaler,  
please follow the instructions of that descaler.

water tank fully gets covered with lime scale  
and the appliance will not work again. In that  
case, it requires to be repaired by a service
