WARNING
INJECTION HAZARD
Remember, this is not an air spray gun.
For your safety be sure to read and
follow the Warnings on pages 2 and 3
WARNING
INJECTION HAZARD
The system pressure must be manually
relieved to prevent the system from
starting or spraying accidentally. Fluid
under high pressure can be injected through the
skin and cause serious injury. To reduce the risk of
an injury from injection, splashing fluid, or moving
parts, follow the Pressure Relief Procedure
whenever you:
and throughout the text of this instruction manual.
Keep the wallet sized warning card 179–960,
provided with the gun, with the operator of this
equipment at all times. The card contains important
treatment information should an injection injury
occur. Additional cards are available at no charge
from Graco.

or install or clean the spray tip.
Opening and Closing the ON/OFF Lever
Always fully open or fully close the ON/OFF lever (B).
Any other position will quickly damage the valve seat,
and the ON/OFF ball valve (8) may not completely
stop the flow of fluid when closed.
1. Fully close the gun ON/OFF lever (B). See Fig. 2.
