TURninG THE RADio on AnD oFF
Turn it on with the ON/OFF/VOLUME control.
PoWER SoURCES
1. Rechargeable battery pack (included).
To turn it off, set the ON/OFF/VOLUME control to OFF.
2. Solar power adapter.
ADJUSTinG THE VoLUME
Set VOLUME control to the desired level.
CHARGinG THE BATTERY PACk
• Turn the crank for about 90 seconds. This will result in 30-40
minutes of low volume play.
• Place the unit directly in sunlight. The solar power adapter
on the top of the unit charges it automatically. About 8-10
hours in the sun will allow about 3-5 hours of play.
TUninG-in STATionS
1. Select AM, FM or WB (weather band) channel 1-7 with
the band selector switch. For FM and WB, fully extend
the telescopic antenna. When using only AM the antenna
need not be extended.
CELL PHonE CRAnk CHARGinG
Because cell phone batteries vary in their current ratings, we
cannot specify charging rates or usage time. 10 to 15 minutes
of cranking may result in 1 or more minutes of talk-time.
1. Set POWER/VOLUME control to OFF position.
2. Select CELL with the slide switch.
2. Adjust the volume with the VOLUME control.
3. Tune stations with the TUNE knob, or tune in WB with the
7-position switch.
3. Plug the cell phone charging cord into the USB Phone
Charge socket.
4. Plug other end of your USB socket into the cell phone’s
charging socket.
5. Rotate the dynamo crank about 2 turns per second.
noTE: When charging a cell phone via the USB cell phone
charger, it is important to turn the crank at least 2 revolutions
per second, or until you see the green or orange LED above
the crank handle turn on. This is an indication that the phone
is receiving enough power from the radio. Continue to crank
at this rate until you are satisfied that an appropriate level of
charge has been received by your cell phone. If you decide
to stop cranking for whatever reason, please wait at least 5
seconds before beginning to crank again. Not following these
instructions may cause damage to your cell phone for which
Eton disclaims any liability and will not be held liable for any
actual or consequential damages related to this matter.

SERViCE FoR YoUR PRoDUCT
USinG THE LiGHT
To obtain service for your product, we recommend first
contacting an Etón service representative at 800-872-2228
US, 800-637-1648 Canada or (650) 903-3866 for problem
determination and trouble-shooting. If further service is
required, the technical staff will instruct how to proceed
based on whether the radio is still under warranty or needs
non-warranty service.
Turn on the light on and off with the light switch on the
top of the unit.
EARPHonE JACk
Plug in earphones (not included). Sound is heard from both
sides in monaural.
WARRAnTY – If your product is still in warranty and the
Etón service representative determines that warranty service
is needed, a return authorization will be issued and instructions
for shipment to an authorized warranty repair facility. Do Not
ship your radio back without obtaining the return authorization
number.
WARRAnTY REGiSTRATion
To ensure full warranty coverage or product updates,
registration of your product should be completed as soon as
possible after purchase or receipt. You may use one of the
following options to register your product:

RECHARGE DU TÉLÉPHonE PoRTABLE
AVEC LA MAniVELLE
Lors du chargement d’un téléphone portable via le chargeur
de téléphone portable USB, il est important de tourner la
manivelle d’au moins 2 tours par seconde ou jusqu’à ce que
vous voyiez le voyant vert ou orange s’allumer au dessus de
la manivelle. C’est une indication que le téléphone a reçu
suffisamment de puissance de la radio. Continuez à tourner
la manivelle à cette vitesse jusqu’à ce qu’un niveau de charge
approprié ait été reçu par votre téléphone portable. Si vous
décidez d’arrêter de tourner la manivelle pour n’importe
quelle raison, veuillez attendre au moins 5 secondes avant de
tourner la manivelle de nouveau. Ne pas suivre ces instructions
peut causer à votre téléphone portable un dommage pour
lequel Eton rejette toute responsabilité et ne sera pas tenu
responsable pour tout dommage réel ou conséquent lié à ce
problème.
RECHARGE DU BLoCk-PiLE
• Tournez la manivelle pendant environ 90 secondes. Cela
procurera 30-40 minutes d’écoute à bas volume.
• Placez l’unité à la lumière directe du soleil. L’adaptateur
chargeur solaire sur le dessus de l’appareil le recharge
automatiquement. Environ 8-10 heures au soleil vous

AVEC LA MAniVELLE

à 15 minutes de manivelle peuvent fournir 1ou plusieurs
minutes de conversation.

2. Sélectionner CELL avec l’interrupteur à glissière.
3. Brancher le cordon de recharge du téléphone dans la prise
USB.
ÉCLAiRER ET ÉTEinDRE LA RADio
Éclairez-la avec la commande ON/OFF/VOLUME .
Pour l’éteindre, mettez la commande ON/OFF/VOLUME
sur OFF.
4. Brancher l’autre extrémité de votre prise USB à la prise de
recharge du téléphone.
RÉGLAGE DU VoLUME
Mettez la commande VOLUME sur le niveau désiré.
5. Faire tourner la manivelle de la dynamo 2fois par seconde
environ.
PRoGRAMMATion DES STATionS
1. Sélectionner AM, FM or WB (chaîne météo) canal 1-7
avec le bouton de sélection des bandes. Pour FM et WB,
déplier entièrement l’antenne télescopique. Si on utilise
seulement AM l’antenne n’a pas besoin d’être dépliée.
2. Régler le volume avec la commande VOLUME .
3. Syntoniser les stations avec le bouton TUNE , ou régler le
mode WB avec le bouton à 7 positions.
ÉCLAiRAGE
Éclairer et éteindre avec le bouton LIGHT sur le dessus de
l’appareil.

GARAnTiE – Si votre produit est toujours sous garantie et
si le représentant du service clientele de Etón juge nécessaire
une réparation garantie, une autorisation de retour sera
délivrée ainsi que les instructions pour l’expédition à un
atelier agréé pour la réparation sous garantie. NE RENVOYEZ
PAS votre radio sans avoir obtenu le numéro d’autorisation
de retour.
Brancher les écouteurs (non fournis). On entend le son des
deux côtés en monaural.

Afin d’assurer une couverture complète de la garantie et les
mises à jour du produit, l’enregistrement de votre produit
doit être effectué le plus tôt possible après l’achat ou la

CARGA PoR MAniVELA DEL TELÉFono

FUEnTES DE ALiMEnTACiÓn
1. Paquete de baterías recargables (incluido).
2. Adaptador de energía solar.
Al cargar un teléfono móvil usando el cargador USB, es
importante rotar la manivela a por lo menos 2 revoluciones
por segundo o hasta que pueda ver el LED sobre la manivela
iluminar de color verde o naranja. Esta es una muestra de
que el teléfono está recibiendo suficiente energía de la radio.
Continúe dando manivela a esta velocidad hasta cuando esté
satisfecho con el nivel de carga requerido que ha recibido
su teléfono móvil. Si por cualquier motivo decide detener la
acción, esperé por lo menos 5 segundos antes de comenzar
de nuevo. El no seguir estas instrucciones puede dañar su
teléfono móvil y Eton renuncia a cualquier responsabilidad
y no se hará responsable par ningún daño de hecho, como
consecuencia o relacionado con este asunto.
CARGA DEL PAQUETE DE BATERÍAS
• Gire la manivela durante aproximadamente 90 segundos.
Esto resultará en 30-40 minutos de reproducción a bajo
volumen.
• Coloque la unidad directamente frente a la luz del sol.
El adaptador de energía solar de la parte superior de la
unidad la cargará automáticamente. Harán falta de 8 a
10 horas de sol para hacer posibles de 3 a 5 horas de
reproducción.

EnCiEnDER Y APAGAR LA RADio
Para encenderla, sírvase del control de ON/OFF/VOLUME.
Para apagarla, ajuste el control de ON/OFF/VOLUME a la
posición de OFF.
Puesto que las baterías de los teléfonos celulares varían en
capacidad, no podemos especificar capacidades de ni tiempo
de uso. Un giro de manivela de 10 a 15 minutos pueden
producir 1 ó más minutos de tiempo de habla.
1. Situar el control de POWER/VOLUME en la posición de OFF.
2. Seleccionar CELL por medio del interruptor de selección.
3. Conectar el cable de carga del teléfono al enchufe USB de
Carga de Teléfono.
AJUSTE DEL VoLUMEn
Ajuste el control de VOLUME (VOLUMEN) al nivel deseado.
4. Conectar el otro extremo del enchufe USB al enchufe de
carga del teléfono celular.
5. Girar la manivela dinamo a unas 2 vueltas por segundo.
SinToniZACiÓn DE EMiSoRAS
1. Seleccione los canales de 1 a 7 de AM, FM o WB (frecuencia
meteorológica) mediante el interruptor selector de frecuencias.
Para FM y WB, extienda la antena telescópica en su totalidad.
Con la frecuencia AM no habrá necesidad de extender ninguna
antena.
2. Ajuste el volumen mediante el control de VOLUMEN.
3. Sintonice emisoras mediante el control de TUNE
(SINTONÍAS), o sintonice la WB con el interruptor de 7
posiciones.
USo DE LA LUZ
Encienda y apague la luz en con el interruptor de luz en la
parte superior de unidad.

GARAnTÍA – Si su producto aún se encuentra en garantía
y el representante de servicio de reparación de Eton determina
que es necesario un servicio de garantía, se emitirá una
autorización de envío de vuelta acompañada de instrucciones
de envío a una tienda autorizada de servicio de reparación de
garantía. No envíe su radio de vuelta sin previa obtención de
un número de autorización de devolución.
Conecte sus auriculares (no incluidos). Se escuchará sonido
monoaural por ambos lados.
REGiSTRo DE LA GARAnTÍA
Para asegurar una plena cobertura por parte de la garantía o
de actualizaciones del producto, usted deberá completar el
registro de su producto lo antes posible después de su
compra o recibo. Sírvase de cualquiera de las opciones
