Wireless IP Pendant
The CyberData Wireless IP Pendant is a
wireless handheld service request terminal for
indoor and outdoor environments. It is an
economical replacement for
frequency-congested and expensive radio
communications when where non-voice
communication is acceptable.
Operation
The Wireless IP pendant transmits 802.11 b/g
radio compliant (2.4 GHz) telemetry data to
Wireless Access Points. When a service request

button is pressed, a wireless message is sent to an
application server* where a message is displayed to
inform the operations center that a service has
been requested.

Venue Alert can be used to track and locate service
requests with a system in any environment which
requires real-time communication across large
distances. Such environments include sports,
music, amusement venues, hospitals, parking lots,
warehouses, aircraft hangars, campuses, or any
environment in which wireless communication is
desirable.
