Energy Saving Tips
1- Ensure your appliance is installed in
a well ventilated area.
2- Ensure the time between buying
chilled/frozen food and placing them
in your appliance is kept at minimum,
particularly in summer. We recommend
you use a cool bag or a special carrier
bag to carry frozen food.
3- Do not leave the door (s) of your
appliance open longer than necessary
and ensure they are closed properly
after each opening.
4- Defrost frozen food in the fridge
compartment, so that frozen food acts
as an ice pack to assist cooling in the
fridge.

3 Installation
2. You can install the 2 plastic wedges

exactly with your product.)
B Please remember that the
manufacturer shall not be held liable if
the information given in the instruction
manual is not observed.

even if the compressor is not running
and this is quite normal.
Before operating your
refrigerator
Before starting to use your refrigerator
check the following:
1. Is the interior of the refrigerator dry
and can the air circulate freely in the
rear of it?

under -18°C. Storage periods may
vary depending on the type of the
food. Storage periods of expiry dates
of such food are indicated on the food

Defrosting of the appliance
• Use a sponge or a soft cloth to
remove thawing water if necessary.
• Excessive build-up of ice will affect
the freezing performance of your
appliance.
• Keep the door open during defrosting.
• For quicker defrosting, place
containers with warm water inside the
appliance.
• It is therefore recommended that you
defrost your appliance at least twice
a year, or whenever the ice build-up
exceeds 7 mm.
• Never use electrical devices,
defrosting sprays or pointed or sharp-
edged objects such as knives or forks
to remove the ice.
• Defrost your appliance when there is
only little or no food in it.
• After the defrosting is done, clean the
inside (see the section ‘Cleaning and
care’).
• Take out the deep-frozen food from
the drawers. Wrap the deep-frozen
food in several layers of paper, or a
blanket, and keep it in a cold place.
• Reconnect the appliance to the
mains. Place the frozen food into the
drawers and slide the drawers into the
freezer.
• Unplug the appliance or switch off the
circuit breaker to start the defrosting
process.
• Take out the accessories (like shelf,
drawer etc.) from the appliance and
use a suitable container to collect the
thawing water.
