Abuilt-inscanningfeatureallowsyoutoautomaticallymonitor,orscan,con-
nectedcomputerswithoutintervention.Whenkeyboardactivityisdetected,
scanningissuspendeduntilallactivitystops.Scanningthenresumeswiththe
nextchannelinsequence.Youcanswitchcomputerchannelsinoneoftwo
ways:viatheSelectbuttonorwithasimplekeyboardsequence.

power-up,alitamberLEDindicatestheselectedcomputer.OtherPCsmay
nowbeselectedforoperation.

TherearetwowaystoselectaPC.OnewayisviatheSelectpush-button.This
selectsthenextcomputerinsequence.Anotherwayisbyenteringashortsequence
ofkeystrokesonthekeyboard.Thisiscalledkeyboard,orhot-key,switching.
PresstheControlkeytwicewithinonesecondtoplaceyourSwitchViewinCom-
mandMode.YourkeyboardLEDswillflashtoverifythatyouareoperating
inCommandMode.Now,whateveryoutypewillbeinterpretedasSwitchView
systemcommandsuntilEnterispressedtoacceptthecommandorEscapeis
pressedtocancel.
InCommandMode,typetheletter(s)forthePCyouwishtoselect.PressEnter
toacceptthenewaddress(Addr).Seebelow.
