I. Function and Operations
Figure shows the function of rear view mirror.

SW1 and SW2 Functions:
1. Vehicle Reversing:
SW1: No Function LCD automatically turns on
SW2: No Function Rearview camera image appears on the mirror/monitor
2. Vehicle Driving:
SW1: Not enabled when vehicle is in motion
SW2: When press and held, the rear camera image appears on the
mirror/monitor.

When released, the LCD will turn off. The mirror will return to its normal
appearance.
3. Vehicle Parked:
SW1: Press once to turn ON the external video and audio input (LED turns
yellow).
Press again to turn OFF the external video and audio input (LED returns
to red).
The vehicle parking brake must be engaged.
SW2: When pressed and held, the rear camera image appears on the
mirror/monitor.
When released, the LCD will return to the previous state.
II. OPERATION
1. The Mirror/monitor is ready for operation every time the Ignition key is
turned on.
The mirror/monitor turns off every time the Ignition is turned to the off
position.
2. How to view the rear observation camera image
A. The monitor will display the rear observation camera image
whenever the vehicle is shifted into the reverse gear. The rear
observation camera image turns off automatically any time the gear
selector is moved out of the reverse position.
B. If you want to view the rear observation camera image at any other
time, press and hold switch button 2 on the rearview mirror. The
image will remain on as long as switch button 2 is held on. Releasing
the switch button #2 will turn off the image.
C. The mirror/monitor can be used as regular glass rearview mirror.
III. How to play an external audio or video signal
1. You must always engage the vehicle’s parking brake to display any
external input signal.

2. Press switch button #1 once to turn on the external signal input. The image
will be displayed as long as the ignition is turned on and the parking brake
is on.
3. To turn off the external signal input, press switch button #1on the mirror.
The external signal input will also be turned off if the parking brake is
released or the ignition key is turned off.
IV. Cellular Phone Hands-Free Operation
1.
Attach the round metal adhesive disc to the back of your mobile phone while
not in use, and then attach the mobile phone adhesive magnetic seat to your
selected spot of the dash area. By placing your cell phone with the metal disc
over the center of the magnetic seat, your cell phone will be attached tightly to
the dash.
2. Plug in the 2.5mm hands free cable into your cell phone headset jack. The other
end of this cable should be connected to the control box mounted under the dash
area. Note. If your cell phone does not have a 2.5mm headphone jack then an
adapter must be used for your particular cell phone. Also not all cell phones are
compatible with this mirrors hands free circuit.

To answer a call, press the receiving button on your cell phone as usual, the
hands free system will engage automatically.
4. The volume of the other party’s voice can be adjusted by turning the volume
control under the bottom of the mirror on the right side.

To end the call, press the hang-up button. The hands free function will turn
off automatically and several seconds later the system will go back to its
original audio input.

For the different mobile phone, the quality of hands free voice can be adjusted
by switching the H-MIC-L switch J.

V. Volume Control
The volume adjustment control is on the right side of the bottom of the rearview mirror.
Rotating the wheel to the right will decrease the sound level. Rotating the wheel to the
left will increase the volume.

VI. LCD Monitor Brightness Control
The brightness adjustment control is on the left side of the bottom of the rearview
mirror. Rotating the wheel to the right will decrease the brightness. Rotating the wheel
to the left will increase the brightness.
Maintenance
Maintenance
Though your Rearview mirror requires little care, you can still maintain its
excellent conditions and performance following the procedures below.
Keep your system away from excessive moisture, extreme heat or cold and
magnetic fields.
· Keep liquids away from the display mirror.
· To avoid damage, do not place external devices or other objects on the
top of the mirror.
· Occasionally wipe the rearview mirror set with soft, damp cloth.
·
Occasionally clean the surface of the mirror with soft cloth moistened
with water or window cleaner.
