2 Channel Preamp Out
The enhanced DVD/CD drive is compatible with regular
shaped 12 cm disks in DVD/VCD/SVCD Video format or CD
Audio, CD-R and CD-RW format, but also capable of playing
DVDs and CDs containing MP3 files. If available, ID3 tags for
DIRECTORY, ARTIST, ALBUM and TITLE can be displayed.
Copy protected CDs which do not comply with international
audio CD standards (Red Book) may not be supported.
The 2 Channel Line Out multiplies the sound power combina-
tions and pre-amplifier connections. In order to optimize at its
maximum the signal to noise ratio and increase the dynamic,
outputs are supplied at 2V.
Colour LCD
Animations and graphics are provided in a coloured LC
Display.
Bass Boost
Boosts the bass out of the set! This function is selected via a
direct key access.Three levels of effect can be chosen accor-
ding to your preference.
Software Access Menu (SAM)
„Software Access Menu“ is an easy way to personalize your
car radio according to your choice and install all possible
optional applications.
Telephone In/Mute
The Phone In connection allows for safer driving whilst
corresponding to many country’s legislation. What‘s more, you
gain improved sound quality through front loudspeakers and a
handsfree kit can be connected.
Detachable Flipdown Front
For theft protection, the complete front of this car radio is
detachable and flips down to access the drive for inserting
and changing a CD/DVD.
DVD Smart Mode
Aux In
This functionality gives you the possibility to listen to radio
via the front speakers and at the same time playing the disc
source e.g. CD or DVD.The sound will be audible via RCA out-
put jacks and video will be displayed via monitors to the rear
passengers at the same time.
With the Aux In you can connect additional audio sources to
your car‘s Hi-Fi system.
