UK International products
are engineered for maximum
performance and durability.
All products carry a Limited
Lifetime Warranty to the orig-
inal retail purchaser to be
free from defective material
and workmanship under nor-
mal and intended use. In
addition, the UK International
Limited Warranty covers
materials used in its products
to the original purchaser,
from the date of purchase, as
follows: plastics for 10 years;
fabrics and rubber for 3
years; rechargeable batteries
for 90 days; and lamps for 30
days (batteries and lamps
are not manufactured by UK
International).
In the event the original
retail purchaser detects a
defect in the material or
workmanship, the product
along with proof of purchase
date should be returned to an
authorized UK International
dealer or directly to UK
International with the
postage prepaid. UK

Care and Maintenance
■ Keep area around the
O-ring clean.
Beam In And Out-Of-Water
The front element of the
Projection Optics System
allows the 13° out-of-water
beam angle to expand to
almost 20° in-water for
hotspot free illumination of
close-up subjects. The high
color temperature or daylight
quality of the light beam
allows light to travel farther
underwater, due to less
absorption than that which
occurs with light from stan-
dard filament lamps.
■ If the light floods, empty it
immediately, rinse with
fresh water and dry com-
pletely before reassembly.
Note:
The Mini Q40 eLED
Plus will not light if
the batteries are not
inserted with the
polarity as shown.
O-Ring
■ Replace the
reflector/lamp, which con-
tains a hydrogen absorbing
catalyst, if it gets wet.
Battery Installation
To install batteries, hold the
case in the position shown.
Drop the batteries one by
one into the case in the order
shown. Make sure that the
(+) end of the battery is down
for 1 and 2 and up for batter-
ies 3 and 4. Next insert the
lamp module into the case.
Place the bezel over the lamp
module and screw it onto the
case.

■ Do not store batteries in
the light for long periods of
time; they may leak and
damage the light.
O-Ring Seal
The O-ring and sealing sur-
faces must be kept clean and
lubricated with silicone
grease in order to maintain
the watertight seal and
smooth rotation of the bezel.
During cleaning remove the
O-ring with your fingers. Do
not use tools which can dam-
age the O-ring and sealing
surfaces.

To operate the Mini Q40 eLED
Plus screw the bezel down
by twisting clockwise until
the lamp comes ON. Turn the
light OFF with at least 1-1/2
counter-clockwise turns of
the bezel.
