USING YOUR MULTI CHOPPER & BLENDER SYSTEM
BEFORE FIRST USE
Make sure the voltage in your outlet is the same as the voltage indicated on
the appliance. This product is for 120 –Volt AC electrical outlet only.
The Multi Chopper & Blender System is equipped with a safety locking sys-
tem to increase security during operation. The unit will not work if the jar
and collar / blending jar / travel jar and collar are not properly locked in
place.
Remove any bags, labels or stickers from the appliance.
Clean the base with a damp soft cloth.
Wash all of the removable parts – jar and collar, storage lid, blending jar and
lid, travel jar and collar and travel lid using a sponge, warm water and mild
dish detergent. Rinse and dry carefully. Use caution when washing compo-
nents with blades as the blades are very sharp. Do not allow your hand to
come into contact with blade edges.
NOTE: do not immerse the base unit in water when cleaning.
HOW TO USE THE CHOPPER
Place the unit on a flat, sturdy surface. This appliance is not for use in convec-
tion or conventional ovens, microwaves, or on a stovetop.
Make sure the appliance is switched off and unplugged.
Wash and dry all components thoroughly as stated above.
Clean and wash the food to be used.
Add food ingredients to the jar, distributing them evenly with a spatula (not
included). When chopping larger foods, pre-cut them into pieces of an even
size, approximately ½ inch to ¾ inch pieces.
Screw the collar onto the jar. Take the jar with collar and attach to the base
unit.Always be sure that the appliance is properly assembled before using.
Blades are extremely sharp; never touch the cutting edge of blades.
Plug the appliance into the power outlet.
Start the chopper by pushing the pulse button continuously until the food is
sufficiently chopped.
Unplug the unit and reverse the above procedure to disassemble.

HOW TO USE THE BLENDER
Place the unit on a flat, sturdy surface. This appliance is not for use in convec-
tion, or conventional ovens, microwaves, or on a stovetop.
Make sure the appliance is switched off and unplugged.
Wash and dry all components thoroughly as stated above.
Assemble with blender components. Always be sure that the appliance is
properly assembled before using. Blender blades are extremely sharp; never
touch the cutting edge of blades.
Add ingredients to the blender a little at a time to ensure proper blending and
to prevent overflow. Never fill container more than ¾ full; the action of the
blade will cause ingredients to rise in the container. Make large recipes in
multiple batches.
Unless the recipe states differently, pour liquid ingredients into the blender be-
fore solid ingredients. The liquid will help the blending time go faster. Always
add 1 cup of liquid before processing ice.
Place the cover with the center cap in place onto the blender.
Plug the appliance into the power outlet.
Switch on by pressing the pulse button.
Unplug the unit and reverse the above procedure to disassemble.
TIPS FOR PROCESSING FOOD
CHOPPING & GRINDING: Make sure that the jar and collar are in proper
position. Use the pulse button repeatedly until grinding is complete. Nor-
mally, 2 or ꢀ continuous pulses are enough for grinding. Several short pulse
actions will help the food drop to the bottom for better grinding. Check the
food frequently to prevent over processing. Use this function for grinding
coffee beans, dry fruits, hard cheese, chocolate, etc. For these foods, use con-
tinuous pulse for several seconds. The desired result for preparing seeds or
coffee will always depend on taste but 20 to 40 seconds is normally enough.
BLENDING: Make sure the blender jar and lid are in proper position. Blend for
ꢀ0 seconds to one minute, using the pulse button and check consistency. Con-
tinue blending until the desired consistency is reached. Over-blending will re-
sult in loose consistency.A scraper may be used (not included), but must only be
used when the blender is not running. Thick mixtures require special attention
during blending. Periodically turn off the unit and scrape the mixture off of the
sides of the container inward toward the blade. Replace the cover and continue
blending. When the center cap is removed, you can add ingredients a little at a
time through the hole in the blender cover. Always cut solid foods such as
cheese or vegetables into small chunks before placing in the blender.
NOTE: always operate the unit with the cover in place.

IMPORTANT OPERATION INFORMATION
Make sure the cover is securely in place and keep hands away from blades and
moving parts.
Maximum operating time: Never use the appliance continuously for more
than 1 minute at a time.
Maximum quantity: Never overload the Chopper or Blender jars. As a guide,
the maximum volume of ingredients to be processed is about ¾ of the Chop-
per or Blender jar capacity after processing.
Chopper and Blender jars: The jars are made of high quality plastic. However
they may become scratched when used for grinding dry fruits, beans, nuts or
some herbs. These scratches will not affect the performance or hygiene of the
appliance.
Removing food from the sides of the jars: If during processing you find some
food sticking to the sides, unplug the unit and wait until the blades have come
to a complete stop. Remove the cover and use a spatula to scrape the food in-
ward toward the center and blades. DO NOT USE YOUR HAND OR
FINGERS.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
After each use and before cleaning, unplug the appliance from outlet and allow the
unit to stop. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLEAN WHILE THE MOTOR IS
RUNNING OR THE COMPONENTS ARE STILL MOVING.
CAUTION: NEVER IMMERSE THE BASE UNIT, CORD OR
PLUG IN WATER
Twist the jar collar, travel jar collar or blending jar in a counter-clockwise di-
rection to remove it from the base unit.
It is recommended to wash the components immediately after each use in
warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. The blades are extremely
sharp. Wash the blades carefully and avoid direct contact with the blades
themselves. The preferred method of drying is to lay on a flat surface and air
dry. Do not leave the blade where children can reach it.
NEVER WASH THE BASE MOTOR UNIT. To clean the base, wipe
clean with a damp sponge or cloth and dry immediately. Never use excess
water, treated cloths, harsh cleaning agents, or sprays.
Reassemble all parts and store in a dry place, unplugged and away from the
reach of children.
Some foods may discolor the containers. This is normal and will not affect the
flavor of your food. Rub a soft cloth, dipped in vegetable oil to remove dis-
coloration.

TROUBLESHOOTING
The Multi Chopper & Blender System will not operate.
Has a household fuse blown, or has a circuit breaker tripped?
Is the power supply cord properly seated in the unit and the outlet?
Is the inter-locking collar or jar secured properly?
Has the cord been damaged in some way? If so, DO NOT USE THE APPLI-
ANCE. Contact Customer Service for replacement information.
The lid will not seal properly.
Is the product assembled properly?
Is there food blocking the lid? If so, you may have too much food in the
blending jar. Remove some of the food and attempt to re-seal the lid.
Food is unevenly chopped.
Either you are chopping too much food at one time, or the pieces are not
small enough. Try cutting food into smaller pieces of even size and processing
a smaller amount per batch.
Food is chopped too fine or is watery.
The food is over processed. Use brief pulses, or process for less time.
Food is collecting on the sides of the bowl or container
You may be processing too much food. Turn machine off. When the blade
stops completely, remove cover and clean with a spatula, turning food inward
toward the blade. Only use a spatula, do not use hands or fingers.
Food hangs up on the blade.
You may be processing too much food or pieces are too large. See Chopping
Guide.
