Notes
• If your VCR is connected to the STB by the aerial cable, enter the programme
number of the VCR corresponding to the channel where you have set up the STB
output in step 4.
You cannot watch programmes from your STB on the TV while recording unless
you record a programme from your STB.
• It is recommended to connect your STB to the DECODEUR/ENTREE LIGNE-3
connector.
• For some STB, in order to avoid any conflict between the STB controller and the
VCR remote commander, be careful not to point the remote commander towards
the STB and the VCR at the same time.
• If VEILLE ECO is set to TOTAL, you cannot watch or record programmes from
your STB during standby mode. Set VEILLE ECO in the OPTIONS-2 menu to
NON or PARTIELLE.

Tuning the French CATV channels
This VCR can scan the CATV channels B to Q and the HYPER frequency
channels S21 to S41. On the REGLAGE DES CHAINES menu, the channels
are indicated by S01 to S44 REGLAGE CANAL numbers respectively. For
example, channel B is indicated by REGLAGE CANAL number S01 and
channel Q by REGLAGE CANAL number S23 (see the table below).
If the CATV channel you want to preset is indicated by its frequency (for
example, 152.75 MHz), refer to the table below to find the corresponding
channel number. Channel number S05 is for this example.

Programme information that is not saved in one of the memory bank
numbers is erased when the cassette is ejected. The RAPPEL memory bank
will temporarily memorize the programme information of the last tape used
