Precautions
Unpacking
Check that you received the following items:
• Audio connecting cord (1)
• Clip for the stabilizing belt (1)
• Screw for the clip (1)
On safety
•
Before operating the speaker system, be sure that the
operating voltage is identical with that of your local power
supply.
•
Unplug the speaker system from the mains if it is not to be
used for an extended period of time. Disconnect the
mains lead by grasping the plug. Never pull the lead
itself.
Installation
•
•
Should any liquid or solid object fall into the speaker
system, unplug the unit and have it checked by qualified
personnel before operating it any further.
The mains lead must only be changed at a qualified
service shop.
The speaker system
To obtain better bass reproduction, we recommend
that you install the speaker system on a solid floor
where resonance is unlikely to occur.
When turning on or off the KL-50W series TV, an
amplifier or other connected equipment
Lower the volume of the speaker system to a minimum.

Always install the speaker system a few centimetres away
To avoid damaging the speaker system
from the wall.

Be careful when setting the volume control of the KL-50W
series TV or amplifier to avoid excessive input power.
Do not attempt to open the enclosure or remold the
speaker units.
Do not place any object except the KL-50W series TV on
the speaker system. Do not sit on it.
If the speaker system is installed in the centre of a room,
the bass may be extremely weakened. This is due to the
influence of a standing wave created in the room. If this
happens, move the speaker system away from the centre
of the room, or eliminate the cause of the standing wave
by installing something against the opposite wall such as a
bookshelf.
The grill net is not removable. Do not try to remove it.
In case colour irregularity is observed on a nearby TV
screen
The speaker system is not a magnetically shielded type,
however, you can install the KL-50W series TV on the
speaker system.
Because the KL-50W series TV uses an LCD, it is not affected
by the magnets in the speakers.
The KL-50W series TV
If you install any other TV set near the speaker system,
colour irregularity may be observed on the TV screen.
Install the KL-50W series TV on the speaker system
and fix the TV to the speaker system using the TV
stand stabilizing belt and belt clip.
If colour irregularity is observed....
n Move the TV set away from the speaker system, turn
off the TV set once, then turn it on after 15 or 30
minutes.
On installation
•
Do not install the speaker system near heat sources such
as radiators or air ducts, or in a place subject to direct
sunlight, excessive dust, mechanical vibration or shock.
Good ventilation is essential to prevent internal heat
build-up in the speaker system. Place the speaker system
in a location with adequate air circulation. Do not place
the speaker system too close to a wall as this may obstruct
the ventilation hole in the back.

On cleaning the cabinet
Clean the cabinet with a soft cloth lightly moistened with
water. Do not use any type of abrasive pad, scouring
powder or solvent such as alcohol or benzine.
If you have any questions or problems concerning your
speaker system that are not covered in this manual,
please consult your nearest Sony dealer.

Note
Use either the LOW LEVEL or HIGH LEVEL terminals for
Hooking Up the System
connection. Using both may result in a malfunction.
Overview
TV
Use either the HIGH LEVEL or LOW LEVEL terminal
of the speaker system when you connect the KL-50W
series TV or a separate amplifier.
• If you connect the KL-50W series TV, connect the
LOW LEVEL terminal of the speaker system to the
audio line out jacks of the KL-50W using the
supplied audio connecting cord.
• If your amplifier has one of the following types of
output jacks, connect the LOW LEVEL terminal of
the speaker system to the amplifier jacks using the
supplied audio connecting cord.

• Turn off the power of the KL-50W series TV or
amplifier and the speaker system before making any
connections.

• Use the audio connecting cords supplied with the
other equipment. If there are not enough audio
connecting cords to make the necessary connections,
you need to purchase optional audio connecting
cords.
• Be sure the connections are secure to avoid noise.
• Connect the mains lead of the speaker system to a
mains outlet.

— SUPER WOOFER output jacks
If the amplifier has a single output jack (e.g. MONO
OUT or MIX OUT jack), connect the other end of the
cord to the L INPUT jack of the LOW LEVEL
terminal of the speaker system.
• If your amplifier does not have any of the above
mentioned output jacks, connect the speaker
terminals of the amplifier to the HIGH LEVEL
terminal of the speaker system instead.
• If your amplifier has the Dolby Pro Logic Surround
system, connect the center speaker output of the
amplifier to the speaker system’s CENTER SPEAKER
terminal as well.

Connecting to the KL-50W series TV
Connecting to an amplifier with a special
super woofer jack
What cords will I need?
If your amplifier has audio line out jacks or special
super woofer jack(s) (like a MONO OUT jack, MIX
OUT jack, SUB WOOFER jacks or SUPER WOOFER
jacks), use the LOW LEVEL terminal of the speaker
system.

Connect the INPUT L and R jacks of the speaker
system’s LOW LEVEL terminal to the KL-50W’s audio
output jacks with the supplied audio connecting cord.

Connecting to an amplifier with the Dolby
Pro Logic Surround system
Connect the speaker system to the amplifier, then
connect the front speakers to this speaker system.
What cords will I need?

Strip the ends of the cord about 2/ 3 inch (15 mm) and twist
the exposed wire.

Hookups
Be sure to match the speaker cord to the appropriate jack on
the components: + to + and – to –. If the cords are reversed,
the sound will be distorted and will lack bass.
Usually the speaker cord marked with a line is used for
positive (+) and should be connected to the positive (+) jack
to avoid any improper connections.

amplifier to the CENTER SPEAKER terminal of
the speaker system.

What is Dolby Pro Logic Surround?
Dolby Pro Logic Surround is a system that decodes the extra
channels on movie videos and TV programmes, and
produces sound effects and echoes that make the action
seem to envelop you. The sound image is improved by using
four separate channels: off-screen audio effects, on-screen
dialogue, left to right panning, and music. These channels
manipulate the sound and enhance the action as it happens
on the screen.

Connect the front speakers to this speaker system.
Connect the front speakers to the OUTPUT jacks
of this speaker system’s HIGH LEVEL terminal.
The unit offers PROLOGIC mode for these systems as one of
the sound fields. You can tell if a video tape or laser disc
uses Dolby Pro Logic Surround encoded software by looking
at the packaging. (Some video tapes and laser discs may use
Dolby Pro Logic Surround even if it’s not indicated on the
package.)

Turn on the connected KL-50W series TV or amplifier and

select the programme source.
Press the POWER switch.
The speaker system turns on and the POWER indicator lights up in
red.
Play the programme source.

When the speaker system receives a signal, the POWER indicator
turns green.
Adjust the volume of the KL-50W series TV or amplifier so sound
from the front speakers is not distorted.
Note
The following actions may cause
damage to the speakers: Setting
the amplifier’s tone control to a
high level, setting an equalizer’s
output to a high level, or inputting
sine waves of 20 Hz to 50 Hz
recorded on a commercially
available test disk or special
sounds (the bass sound of
electronic musical instruments,
popping noise of an analog disc
turntable, sounds with abnormally
enhanced bass, etc.)
The standby mode
When no signal is received, the speaker system goes into standby mode and
the POWER indicator turns red after a few minutes. When a new signal comes
into the speaker system, the speaker system returns to active mode and the
POWER indicator turns green.
To turn off the pow er
Press the POWER switch to release the switch.
When a special disc containing
abnormally enhanced bass is
played, noise may be output in
addition to the original sound. In
such a case, decrease the sound
level.
If you hear noise when you turn off the speaker system , turn down the
speaker system volume, or turn off the KL-50W series TV or amplifier before
turning off the speaker system.

You can adjust the speaker system to complement the sound of your front
speakers. Reinforcing the bass sound gives you a greater sense of
atmosphere.

Male vocal tunes containing bass sounds are most suitable for
adjustment. Adjust the volume for the front speakers to the same
level as usual.
Adjust volume of the speaker system.
Turn the VOLUME control so you can hear the bass sound a little
more than before.
To increase the bass sound, turn the VOLUME control clockwise.
To decrease the bass sound, turn the VOLUME control
counterclockwise.
Adjust the cut off frequency.

Turn the CROSSOVER control to match the reproduction frequencies
of your front speakers.
Turn the control towards 150 Hz if you have small front speakers.
Turn the control towards 50 Hz if you have large front speakers.
If you connect the KL-50W series TV, adjust the CROSSOVER control
to the marked (KL-50W) position.
Select the phase polarity.
Press the PHASE button to select the phase polarity. Select the normal
(+) phase polarity if you connect a KL-50W series TV.
Depressing the PHASE button reverses the polarity and may provide
better bass reproduction in certain listening environments. (Bass
reproduction depends on the type of front speakers, the position of
the speaker system and the adjustment of the cut off frequency). It
may also change the expanse and tightness of sound, and effect the
feeling of the sound field. Select the setting that provides the sound
you prefer when listening in your normal listening position.
Note
If the sound distorts when you
turn on the bass reinforcement
from your amplifier (such as,
DBFB, GROOVE, or the graphic
equalizer), turn off the bass
reinforcement and adjust the
sound.

Troubleshooting

using the speaker system, use this troubleshooting
guide to help you solve the problem. Should any
problem persist, consult your nearest Sony dealer.

Nettoyage du châssis
Nettoyez le châssis à l’aide d’un chiffon légèrement
imprégné d’eau. N’utilisez aucun type de tampon abrasif, de

prolongée. Débranchez le cordon d’alimentation en le
saisissant par la fiche, Ne tirez jamais sur le cordon
proprement dit.

Si des liquides ou des solides venaient à tomber à
l’intérieur de l’enceinte, débranchez-la et faites-la vérifier
par le personnel qualifié avant de la remettre en service.
Si le cordon d’alimentation (secteur) doit être remplacé,
faites-le uniquement faire dans un centre de service après-
vente agréé.

Vérifiez si vous avez reçu les accessoires suivants:

Lors de la mise sous ou hors tension d’un téléviseur
KL-50W, d’un amplificateur ou d’un autre appareil

Réduisez le volume de l’enceinte au minimum.
Installation
Pour éviter d’endommager l’enceinte
•
Soyez plus particulièrement précautionneux lorsque vous
réglez le volume d’un téléviseur KL-50W ou d’un
amplificateur de façon à éviter une puissance d’entrée
excessive.
Enceinte
Pour obtenir une meilleure reproduction des graves,
nous vous conseillons d’installer l’enceinte sur un sol
plein qui n’est pas susceptible de faire office de caisse
de résonance.

N’essayez pas d’ouvrir l’enceinte ou de transformer les
haut-parleurs.
Le treillis n’est pas amovible. N’essayez pas de l’enlever.
Si vous observez une altération des couleurs sur l’écran
d’un téléviseur placé à proximité
L’enceinte n’est pas dotée d’un blindage magnétique, mais
vous pouvez cependant installer un téléviseur KL-50W sur
l’enceinte.

Installez toujours l’enceinte à quelques centimètres du
mur.
Ne posez aucun objet autre qu’un téléviseur KL-50W sur
l’enceinte. Ne vous asseyez pas dessus.
Comme les téléviseurs KL-50W utilisent un écran à cristaux
liquides (LCD), il n’est pas affecté par les aimants des haut-
parleurs.
Si l’enceinte est installée au centre d’une pièce, il se peut
que les graves s’en trouvent extrêmement atténuées. Ce
phénomène peut être dû à la création d’une onde
stationnaire dans la pièce. Si cela se produit, éloignez
l’enceinte du centre de la pièce ou éliminez la cause de
l’onde stationnaire en installant quelque chose contre le
mur opposé, comme une bibliothèque.
Si vous installez un autre téléviseur près de l’enceinte, il se
peut que vous observiez une altération des couleurs sur
l’écran du téléviseur.
Si vous observez une altération des couleurs...
n Eloignez le téléviseur de l’enceinte, mettez le
téléviseur hors tension et attendez ensuite 15 à 30
minutes avant de le remettre sous tension.
Installation

N’installez pas l’appareil à proximité de sources de
chaleur telles que des radiateurs ou des conduits d’air
chaud ni dans un endroit directement soumis au
rayonnement du soleil, à de la poussière ou à de
l’humidité en excès, ni à des vibrations mécaniques ou à
des chocs.
•
Une ventilation adéquate est nécessaire pour éviter toute
surchauffe interne de l’enceinte. Veillez à assurer une bonne
circulation de l’air autour de l’enceinte. Ne placez pas
l’enceinte trop près d’un mur qui risqueraient d’obstruer
l’orifice de ventilation à l’arrière.

• Si votre amplificateur est doté du système Dolby Pro
Logic Surround, raccordez également la sortie de
haut-parleur central de l’amplificateur à la borne
CENTER SPEAKER de l’enceinte.

Installez le téléviseur KL-50W sur l’enceinte et fixez le
téléviseur sur l’enceinte au moyen de la courroie de
stabilisation de support de téléviseur et de l’agrafe de
la courroie.

Remarque

Généralités

• Si vous raccordez un téléviseur KL-50W, raccordez la
borne LOW LEVEL de l’enceinte aux prises de sortie
de ligne audio du KL-50W au moyen du cordon de
connexion audio fourni.

avez besoin.
Si l’amplificateur est doté d’une seule prise de sortie
(par ex., MONO OUT ou MIX OUT), raccordez
l’autre extrémité du cordon à la prise L INPUT de la
borne LOW LEVEL de l’enceinte.
• Assurez-vous que les connexions sont fermement
établies de façon à éviter les parasites.
• Branchez le cordon d’alimentation de l’enceinte sur
une prise murale.
• Si votre amplificateur n’est doté d’aucune des prises
susmentionnées, raccordez les bornes de haut-
parleur de l’amplificateur à la borne HIGH LEVEL
de l’enceinte.

Raccordez la prise de sortie du haut-parleur

(–). Si les cordons sont inversés, le son comportera des

En général, le cordon identifié par une ligne est utilisé pour

Le Dolby Pro Logic Surround est un système qui décode les
canaux supplémentaires des cassettes vidéo et des émissions
de télévision et produit des effets sonores et des échos qui
vous donnent l’impression d’être enveloppé par l’action qui
se déroule sur l’écran du téléviseur. L’image sonore est
améliorée au moyen de quatre canaux séparés : des effets
sonores hors champ, des dialogues à l’écran, un
panoramique gauche droite et de la musique. Ces canaux
traitent le son et renforcent le feu de l’action qui se déroule
sur l’écran du téléviseur.

Vous pouvez régler l’enceinte de façon à ce qu’elle diffuse un son
complémentaire aux sons reproduits par vos haut-parleurs frontaux. En
renforçant les graves, vous créez une ambiance beaucoup plus intense.

Les voix d’homme graves conviennent le mieux aux procédure de
réglage du son. Réglez le volume des haut-parleurs frontaux sur le
même niveau que lors d’une écoute normale.
Réglez le volume de l’enceinte.
Tournez la commande VOLUME de façon à ce que vous puissiez
entendre les graves un peu plus fort que précédemment.
Pour augmenter les graves, tournez la commande VOLUME dans le
sens horaire.

Tournez la commande CROSSOVER en fonction des fréquences de

Si vous raccordez le téléviseur KL-50W, réglez la commande

Sélectionnez la polarité de phase.
Appuyez sur la touche PHASE pour sélectionner la polarité de phase.
Sélectionnez la polarité de phase normale (+) si vous raccordez un
téléviseur KL-50W. Une pression sur la touche PHASE inverse la
polarité et peut fournir une meilleure reproduction des graves dans
certaines conditions d’écoute. (La reproduction des graves dépend du
type de haut-parleurs frontaux, de la position de l’enceinte et du
réglage de la fréquence de coupure). Cela peut également modifier
l’amplitude et l’étroitesse de la plage sonore, et affecter l’impression
du champ sonore. Sélectionnez le réglage qui fournit la qualité sonore
que vous préférez lorsque vous vous trouvez à votre position
d’écoute normale.

Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse mit einem weichen Tuch, das Sie
leicht mit Wasser angefeuchtet haben. Verwenden Sie keine
Scheuermittel, Scheuerschwämme oder Lösungsmittel wie
Alkohol oder Benzin.

Bevor Sie das Lautsprechersystem in Betrieb nehmen,
überprüfen Sie, ob die Betriebsspannung des Systems der
lokalen Stromversorgung entspricht.
Sollten an Ihrem Lautsprechersystem Probleme
auftreten oder sollten Sie Fragen haben, auf die in
dieser Anleitung nicht eingegangen wird, wenden Sie
sich bitte an Ihren Sony-Händler.

Wollen Sie das Lautsprechersystem längere Zeit nicht
benutzen, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
Ziehen Sie dazu immer am Stecker, nicht am Netzkabel
selbst.
•

Sollten Fremdkörper oder Flüssigkeiten in das
Lautsprechersystem gelangen, trennen Sie es von der
Netzsteckdose. Lassen Sie das System von qualifiziertem
Fachpersonal überprüfen, bevor Sie es wieder benutzen.
Das Netzkabel darf nur von einem qualifizierten
Kundendienst ausgetauscht werden.
Auspacken
Überprüfen Sie bitte, ob folgende Teile mitgeliefert
wurden:
• Audioverbindungskabel (1)
• Klammer für den Befestigungsriemen (1)
• Schraube für die Klammer (1)
Wenn Sie das Fernsehgerät der Serie KL-50W, einen
Verstärker oder ein anderes angeschlossenes Gerät ein-
oder ausschalten
Drehen Sie die Lautstärke am Lautsprechersystem möglichst
weit herunter.
So vermeiden Sie Schäden am Lautsprechersystem
Aufstellung
•
Achten Sie beim Einstellen des Lautstärkereglers am
Fernsehgerät der Serie KL-50W oder am Verstärker
darauf, eine übermäßig hohe Eingangsleistung zu
vermeiden.
Das Lautsprechersystem
Um eine hohe Baßqualität zu erzielen, empfiehlt es
sich, das Lautsprechersystem auf einem stabilen Boden
aufzustellen, auf dem keine Resonanzen entstehen.
•

Versuchen Sie nicht, das Gehäuse zu öffnen oder die
Bauteile im Lautsprecher zu verändern.
Die Gittermaske ist fest angebracht. Versuchen Sie nicht,
sie abzunehmen.
Hinweise
Bei Farbstörungen auf einem Fernsehschirm in der Nähe
Das Lautsprechersystem ist nicht magnetisch abgeschirmt.
Sie können es jedoch mit einem Fernsehgerät der Serie
KL-50W einsetzen.

Stellen Sie das Lautsprechersystem immer einige
Zentimeter von der Wand entfernt auf.

der Serie KL-50W auf das Lautsprechersystem, und setzen
Sie sich auch nicht darauf.
Da Fernsehgeräte der Serie KL-50W mit einem
LCD-Bildschirm ausgestattet sind, wird ihre Bildqualität
durch die Magnete in den Lautsprechern nicht beeinträchtigt.
Wenn Sie ein anderes Fernsehgerät in der Nähe des
Lautsprechersystems aufstellen, kann es zu Farbstörungen
auf dem Fernsehschirm kommen.
•
Wenn das Lautsprechersystem in der Raummitte
aufgestellt wird, können die Bässe stark abgeschwächt
werden. Dies ist auf stehende Wellen zurückzuführen, die
sich im Raum bilden. Stellen Sie in diesem Fall das
Lautsprechersystem nicht in die Raummitte, oder
verhindern Sie die Bildung stehender Wellen, indem Sie
ein Bücherregal o. ä. vor der gegenüberliegenden Wand
aufstellen.
Wenn Farbstörungen auftreten...
n Stellen Sie das Fernsehgerät weiter entfernt vom
Lautsprechersystem auf, schalten Sie das Fernsehgerät
einmal aus und nach 15 bis 30 Minuten wieder ein.
Aufstellung
•
Stellen Sie das Lautsprechersystem nicht in der Nähe von
Wärmequellen wie Heizkörpern oder Warmluftauslässen
oder an Orten auf, an denen es direktem Sonnenlicht,
außergewöhnlich viel Staub, mechanischen Vibrationen
oder Stößen ausgesetzt ist.
•
Damit im Lautsprechersystem kein Wärmestau entsteht,
ist eine ausreichende Ventilation erforderlich. Stellen Sie
das Lautsprechersystem daher an einen Ort mit
ausreichend Luftzirkulation auf. Stellen Sie das
Lautsprechersystem nicht zu nahe an einer Wand auf.
Andernfalls könnten die Lüftungsöffnungen an der
Rückseite blockiert werden.

• Wenn Ihr Verstärker mit keiner der oben genannten
Ausgangsbuchsen ausgestattet ist, verbinden Sie statt
dessen die Lautsprecheranschlüsse am Verstärker mit
dem Anschluß HIGH LEVEL am Lautsprechersystem.
• Wenn Ihr Verstärker mit dem Dolby Pro Logic
Surround-System ausgestattet ist, verbinden Sie
außerdem den Ausgang für den mittleren

• Stecken Sie die Stecker fest in die Buchsen. So
vermeiden Sie Störgeräusche.
Wenn der Verstärker nur eine einzelne
Ausgangsbuchse hat (z. B. MONO OUT- oder MIX
OUT-Buchse), schließen Sie das andere Kabelende an
die Buchse L INPUT des Anschlusses LOW LEVEL
am Lautsprechersystem an.
• Schließen Sie das Netzkabel des
Lautsprechersystems an eine Netzsteckdose an.

Hinweis
Verbinden Sie den Anschluß HIGH LEVEL am
Lautsprechersystem über die Lautsprecherkabel
mit den Lautsprecherausgangsbuchsen am
Verstärker. Sie müssen beide Kanäle anschließen
(L und R).
Wenn der Verstärker ausgeschaltet wird, verringern Sie die
Lautstärke, oder schalten Sie das Lautsprechersystem aus.
Andernfalls ist ein Störgeräusch zu hören.
Was ist Dolby Pro Logic Surround?
ç: Signalfluß
Dolby Pro Logic Surround ist ein System, das die
zusätzlichen Kanäle bei Filmvideos und
Verstärker
Fernsehprogrammen decodiert und Klangeffekte und Echos
erzeugt, bei deren Wiedergabe man den Eindruck bekommt,
mitten im Geschehen zu sein. Das Klangbild wird durch vier
getrennte Kanäle verbessert: Off-Screen-Audioeffekte, On-
Screen-Dialog, Schwenks von links nach rechts und Musik.
Diese Kanäle verarbeiten den Ton und unterstreichen das
Geschehen auf dem Fernsehschirm.

Stellen Sie die Lautstärke des Fernsehgeräts der Serie KL-50W bzw.
des Verstärkers so ein, daß der Klang von den Frontlautsprechern
nicht verzerrt wird.

Sie können das Lautsprechersystem so einstellen, daß es den Klang der
Frontlautsprecher ergänzt. Wenn Sie die Bässe verstärken, ergibt sich eine
bessere Raumklangwirkung.

Besonders geeignet zum Einstellen des Klangs sind männliche
Singstimmen mit Bässen. Stellen Sie die Lautstärke der
Frontlautsprecher wie üblich ein.
Stellen Sie die Lautstärke des Lautsprechersystems ein.
Drehen Sie den Regler VOLUME, so daß die Bässe etwas deutlicher
als zuvor zu hören sind.
Zum Verstärken der Bässe drehen Sie den Regler VOLUME im
Uhrzeigersinn.
Zum Abschwächen der Bässe drehen Sie den Regler VOLUME gegen
den Uhrzeigersinn.
Stellen Sie die Grenzfrequenz ein.

Drehen Sie den Regler CROSSOVER, und beachten Sie die
Wiedergabefrequenzen Ihrer Frontlautsprecher.
Drehen Sie den Regler bei kleinen Frontlautsprechern in Richtung auf
150 Hz.
Drehen Sie den Regler bei großen Frontlautsprechern in Richtung auf
50 Hz.
Wenn Sie ein Fernsehgerät der Serie KL-50W anschließen, stellen Sie
den Regler CROSSOVER auf die markierte Position (KL-50W) ein.
Wählen Sie die Phasenpolarität aus.
Wählen Sie mit der Taste PHASE die Phasenpolarität aus. Wählen Sie
die normale Phasenpolarität (+) aus, wenn Sie ein Fernsehgerät der
Serie KL-50W anschließen.
Durch Drücken der Taste PHASE wird die Polarität umgekehrt, und
dadurch kann die Qualität der Baßwiedergabe in bestimmten
Umgebungen verbessert werden.
Die Baßwiedergabe hängt vom Typ der Frontlautsprecher, der
Position des Lautsprechersystems und der Einstellung der
Grenzfrequenz ab. Diese Funktion ändert zudem möglicherweise die
Klangdichte und wirkt sich auf das Klangfeld aus. Wählen Sie die
Einstellung, mit der Ihnen der Klang in Ihrer normalen Position bei
der Wiedergabe am besten gefällt.
Hinweis
Wenn Sie die
Baßverstärkungsfunktion an Ihrem
Verstärker (z. B. DBFB, GROOVE
oder Graphic Equalizer)
einschalten und der Klang verzerrt
wird, schalten Sie die
Baßverstärkungsfunktion aus und

auftreten, versuchen Sie, diese anhand der folgenden
Checkliste zu beheben. Sollte die Störung bestehen

Voorzorgsmaatregelen

Controleer of u volgende zaken hebt ontvangen:

Controleer alvorens het luidsprekersysteem in gebruik te
nemen of de bedrijfsspanning overeenkomt met de
plaatselijke netspanning.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer u het
luidsprekersysteem gedurende lange tijd niet gebruikt.
Trek nooit aan het snoer maar altijd aan de stekker zelf.
Indien er vloeistof of een voorwerp in het

luidsprekersysteem terechtkomt, trek dan meteen de
stekker uit en laat het systeem nakijken door een
deskundige alvorens het weer in gebruik te nemen.
Het netsnoer mag enkel in een erkende werkplaats

Installeren

Het luidsprekersysteem
Voor een optimale bass-weergave raden wij aan het
luidsprekersysteem te installeren op een stevige,
resonantievrije vloer.
Bij het aan- of uitschakelen van de KL-50W TV, een
versterker of andere aangesloten apparatuur
Moet u eerst het volume van de versterker volledig
dichtdraaien.

Plaats het luidsprekersysteem altijd op enkele centimeter

Let op dat u het volume van de KL-50W TV of versterker
van de muur.
niet te hoog instelt om beschadiging door

Plaats geen voorwerpen behalve de KL-50W TV op het
luidsprekersysteem en ga er ook niet op zitten.
Wanneer de luidspreker in het midden van een kamer
wordt geïnstalleerd, kunnen de lage tonen erg verzwakt
worden. Dit is te wijten aan staande-golfvorming. Plaats in
dat geval de luidspreker uit het midden van de kamer of
voorkom staande-golfvorming door bijvoorbeeld een
boekenkast tegen de tegenoverliggende muur te zetten.

Probeer in geen geval de luidsprekerbehuizing te openen
of wijzigingen aan te brengen.
Het luidsprekerfront kan niet worden verwijderd. Probeer
het front nooit met geweld te verwijderen.
Als de kleurweergave van een dichtbij opgestelde TV is
gestoord
Hoewel het luidsprekersysteem niet magnetisch is
afgeschermd, kunt u toch een KL-50W TV op het
luidsprekersysteem installeren.
De KL-50W TV is uitgerust met een LCD die ongevoelig is
voor de magneten in de luidsprekers.
Als u een ander TV-toestel opstelt in de buurt van het
luidsprekersysteem, kan de kleurweergave worden
gestoord.
De KL-50W TV
Installeer de KL-50W TV op het luidsprekersysteem en
bevestig de TV op de luidspreker met de gordel en de
klem.
Als de kleurweergave is gestoord...
n Zet de TV verder van het luidsprekersysteem af,
schakel de TV uit en schakel hem na 15 tot 30 minuten
weer aan.
Installatie
•
Installeer het luidsprekersysteem niet te dicht bij een
warmtebron, zoals een radiator of heteluchtblazer, of op
een plaats waar het is blootgesteld aan directe
zonnestraling, stof, mechanische trillingen of schokken.
Een goede ventilatie is van essentieel belang om
oververhitting van vitale onderdelen te voorkomen. Kies
een plaats met voldoende luchtcirculatie. Zet de
luidspreker niet te dicht tegen een wand, waardoor de
ventilatie-openingen achteraan geblokkeerd kunnen
worden.

Reinigen van de behuizing
Maak de behuizing schoon met een zachte doek, licht
bevochtigd met water. Gebruik nooit een schuursponsje,
schuurpoeder of oplosmiddelen zoals alcohol of wasbenzine.
Mocht u na het lezen nog vragen of problemen hebben
met betrekking tot het apparaat, aarzel dan niet contact
op te nemen met de dichtstbijzijnde Sony handelaar.

van het luidsprekersysteem wanneer u de KL-50W TV
of versterker aansluit.

• Bij aansluiting op de KL-50W TV moet u de LOW
LEVEL aansluiting van de luidspreker met behulp
van het meegeleverde audio-aansluitsnoer verbinden
met de audio-lijnuitgangen van de KL-50W.
• Als uw versterker is uitgerust met één van de
volgende uitgangen, moet u de LOW LEVEL
aansluiting van de luidspreker met behulp van het
meegeleverde audio-aansluitsnoer verbinden met de
versterkeraansluitingen.
Gebruik niet tegelijk LOW LEVEL of HIGH LEVEL
voor de aansluiting.
Voor u begint aan te sluiten
• Zet de KL-50W TV, de versterker en het
luidsprekersysteem af alvorens de aansluitingen uit
te voeren.
• Gebruik de meegeleverde aansluitsnoeren.
Desgevallend kunt u extra aansluitsnoeren
verkrijgen in de audiohandel.
• Zorg voor een stevige aansluiting om ruis te
voorkomen.
• Sluit het netsnoer van het luidsprekersysteem aan op
een stopcontact.

Als de luidspreker een enkele uitgang heeft (b.v.
MONO OUT of MIX OUT), sluit u het andere
uiteinde van het snoer aan op L INPUT van de LOW
LEVEL aansluiting van het luidsprekersysteem.
• Als uw versterker niet is uitgerust met
bovenvermelde uitgangen, moet u de
luidsprekeraansluitingen van de versterker verbinden
met de HIGH LEVEL aansluiting van de luidspreker.
• Als uw versterker is uitgerust met het Dolby Pro
Logic Surround systeem, moet u de CENTER
aansluiting van de versterker ook verbinden met de
CENTER SPEAKER aansluiting van het
luidsprekersysteem.

Sluit het luidsprekersysteem aan op de versterker en
sluit vervolgens de voorluidsprekers aan op het
luidsprekersysteem.

Wat is Dolby Pro Logic Surround?
Versterker
Dolby Pro Logic Surround is een systeem dat de extra
kanalen van videofilms en TV-programma’s decodeert en
geluidseffecten en echo’s produceert waardoor het lijkt of u
midden in de actie zit. Het geluidsbeeld wordt verbeterd
door middel van vier aparte kanalen: off-screen

geluidseffecten, on-screen dialogen, links-rechts panning en
muziek. Deze kanalen bewerken het geluid en zetten de actie
op het scherm extra in de verf.

Het toestel beschikt over een PROLOGIC mode voor deze
systemen als één van de geluidsvelden. Bij videofilms of
beeldplaten van het type Dolby Pro Logic Surround staat dit
vermeld op de verpakking. (Sommige videofilms en
beeldplaten kunnen van het Dolby Surround type zijn, ook
al staat dat niet vermeld op de verpakking.)

Wanneer het luidsprekersysteem een signaal ontvangt, licht de
POWER indicator groen op.
Regel het volume van de KL-50W TV of de versterker zodat het
geluid van de voorluidsprekers niet is vervormd.
Opmerking
De luidsprekers kunnen in de
volgende omstandigheden worden
beschadigd: wanneer de
toonregeling van de versterker of
het uitgangssignaal van de
equalizer te hoog is ingesteld of bij
sinusgolven van 20 Hz tot 50 Hz
van een in de handel verkrijgbare

Standby mode
Wanneer geen signaal wordt ontvangen, schakelt het luidsprekersysteem over
naar de standby mode en licht de POWER indicator na enkele minuten rood
op. Wanneer het luidsprekersysteem een nieuw signaal ontvangt, wordt het
weer aangeschakeld en licht de POWER indicator groen op.

U kunt het luidsprekersysteem instellen om het geluid van de voorluidsprekers
te ondersteunen. Een krachtiger bass-geluid geeft meer sfeer.

Mannelijk stemgeluid is het meest geschikt voor
afstellingsdoeleinden. Regel het volume van de voorluidsprekers op
hetzelfde niveau zoals gewoonlijk.
Regel het volume van het luidsprekersysteem.
Stel het VOLUME zo in dat u iets meer bass-geluid kunt horen dan
voordien.
Draai de VOLUME regelaar rechtsom om het bass-geluid te versterken.
Draai de VOLUME regelaar linksom om het bass-geluid te
verzwakken.
Regel de afsnijfrequentie.

Draai aan de CROSSOVER regelaar afhankelijk van de
weergavefrequenties van uw voorluidsprekers.
Draai de regelaar naar 150 Hz als u kleine voorluidsprekers hebt.
Draai de regelaar naar 50 Hz als u grote voorluidsprekers hebt.
Bij aansluiting van de KL-50W TV zet u de CROSSOVER regelaar in
de gemarkeerde stand (KL-50W).
Kies de fasepolariteit.
Druk op de PHASE toets om de fasepolariteit te kiezen. Kies de
normale fasepolariteit (+) bij aansluiting van een KL-50W series TV.
Door de PHASE toets in te drukken, wordt de polariteit omgekeerd
wat een betere bass-weergave in bepaalde luisteromgevingen tot
gevolg heeft (De bass-weergave is afhankelijk van het type
voorluidsprekers, de positie van het luidsprekersysteem en de
instelling van de afsnijfrequentie). Dit kan ook een invloed hebben op
het geluidseffect en het geluidsveld. Kies de instelling die uw
favoriete weergave oplevert in uw normale luisterpositie.
Opmerking
Als het geluid is vervormd
wanneer u de bass-
versterkingsfunctie van de
luidspreker (zoals DBFB, GROOVE
of de grafische equalizer)
inschakelt, moet u die uitschakelen

Controllare di aver ricevuto i seguenti articoli:

Prima di far funzionare il sistema degli altoparlanti,
accertarsi che la tensione operativa sia identica a quella di
alimentazione locale.

Nel caso in cui l’apparecchio non venga utilizzato per un
periodo prolungato di tempo scollegare il sistema degli
altoparlanti dalla presa di rete. Scollegare il cavo di
alimentazione prendendolo dalla spina. Non tirare mai il
cavo direttamente.

Nel caso in cui dovesse cadere del liquido o un oggetto
solido nel sistema degli altoparlanti, scollegare
l’apparecchiatura e prima di farla funzionare nuovamente
farla controllare da personale qualificato.
Il cavo di alimentazione deve essere sostituito
esclusivamente da personale qualificato.
Il sistema degli altoparlanti
Per ottenere una riproduzione migliore dei toni bassi,
raccomandiamo di installare il sistema degli
altoparlanti su un pavimento solido dove è poco
probabile che si abbia una risonanza.
Quando si accende o si spegne il televisore della serie
KL-50W, un amplificatore o un altro apparecchio

In caso di irregolarità del colore sullo schermo di un
televisore vicino
Il sistema degli altoparlanti non è del tipo con schermo
magnetico, tuttavia, è possibile installare il televisore della
serie KL-50W sul sistema degli altoparlanti.
Poichè il televisore della serie KL-50W utilizza un LCD
(display a cristalli liquidi), i magneti degli altoparlanti non
hanno alcun effetto su di questo.
Nel caso in cui si installi un altro televisore vicino al sistema
degli altoparlanti, è possibile che sullo schermo del
televisore si noti una irregolarità del colore.
Il televisore della serie KL-50W
Installare il televisore della serie KL-50W sopra il
sistema degli altoparlanti e fissare il televisore al
sistema degli altoparlanti utilizzando la cinghia di
stabilizzazione del mobile di supporto del televisore ed
il fermaglio della cinghia.
In caso di irregolarità del colore....
n Allontanare il televisore dal sistema degli altoparlanti,
spegnere una volta il televisore, poi riaccenderlo dopo
15 o 30 minuti.
Installazione
•
Non collocare il sistema degli altoparlanti vicino a
sorgenti di calore quali radiatori o tubature dell’aria, o in
un punto soggetto alla luce diretta del sole, polvere
eccessiva, vibrazione o oscillazione meccanica.
Per prevenire un surriscaldamento interno nel sistema
degli altoparlanti è fondamentale mantenere una buona
ventilazione. Collocare il sistema degli altoparlanti in un
punto con una circolazione d’aria appropriata. Non
collocare il sistema degli altoparlanti troppo vicino alla
parete ostruendo le prese di ventilazione collocate nel
pannello posteriore.

Pulitura delle parti esterne degli altoparlanti
Pulire la parte esterna con un panno morbido inumidito con
acqua. Non utilizzare alcun tipo di spugna abrasiva, polvere
di sgrassaggio o solvente quale alcool o benzene.
Nel caso in cui rilevaste dei problemi o questioni
inerenti al sistema degli altoparlanti che non siano
contemplate in questo manuale, vi invitiamo a
contattare il rivenditore Sony più vicino.

• Per evitare fastidiosi rumori accertarsi che i
collegamenti siano ben fissi e che siano stati effettuati

Nel caso in cui l’amplificatore disponga di una delle
seguenti prese di uscita (per esempio della presa
MONO OUT o MIX OUT), collegare l’altra estremità
del cavo alla presa L INPUT del terminale LOW

• Nel caso in cui l’amplificatore non disponga di una
delle prese di uscita sopra indicata, collegare i
terminali degli altoparlanti dell’amplificatore al
terminale HIGH LEVEL del sistema degli altoparlanti.
• Nel caso in cui l’amplificatore disponga del sistema
ad effetto Surround Dolby Pro Logic, collegare

Cosa è l’effetto surround Dolby Pro Logic.

L’effetto surround Dolby Pro Logic è un sistema che
decodifica i canali extra nei film e nei programmi televisivi, e
produce effetti ed echi sonori che fanno sembrare che
l’azione sia proprio intorno a chi ascolta. L’immagine sonora
viene migliorata utilizzando quattro canali separati: effetti
audio fuori campo, dialogo in campo, panoramica da sinistra
a destra, e musica. Questi canali agiscono sul suono e
migliorano l’effetto dell’azione in corso sullo schermo.
Per questi sistemi l’apparecchio offre il modo PROLOGIC
come uno dei campi sonori. Si può stabilire se una
videocassetta o un laser disc utilizza il software Dolby Pro
Logic Surround esaminando semplicemente la confezione. È
possibile che alcune videocassette e laser disc utilizzino
Dolby Pro Logic Surround anche se non è indicato sulla
confezione).

Quando nel sistema degli altoparlanti entra un nuovo segnale, il sistema degli
altoparlanti ritorna al modo attivo e l’indicatore POWER diventa color verde.

normale (+).
Abbassando il tasto PHASE si inverte la polarità e si ottiene una
migliore riproduzione dei toni bassi in determinati ambienti di
ascolto. (La riproduzione dei toni bassi dipende dal tipo di
altoparlante anteriore, dalla posizione del sistema degli altoparlanti e
della regolazione della frequenza limite). Si può cambiare anche
l’espansione e la tenuta del suono, e provare il campo sonoro.
Selezionare l’impostazione che fornisce il suono preferito di ascolto
nella posizione di ascolto normale.

distorto quando si accende il

utilizzare questa guida di soluzione dei problemi per
cercare di risolvere il problema. Nel caso in cui il

Desembalar o sistema

Se não utilizar o sistema durante longos períodos,
desligue a ficha da tomada de parede. Desligue o cabo

Se deixar cair algum objecto líquido ou sólido no interior
deste sistema, desligue-o e solicite a assistência de um
técnico qualificado antes de voltar a utilizá-lo.
O cabo de ligação à rede de corrente eléctrica só pode ser
substituído numa loja com um serviço de assistência
qualificado.
Instalação
Sistema de altifalantes
Para obter uma melhor reprodução dos graves, coloque
os altifalantes sobre uma base sólida, o que ajuda a
eliminar as ressonâncias indesejáveis.
Quando ligar ou desligar o televisor KL-50W, um
amplificador ou outro equipamento
Reduza o volume de som do sistema para o mínimo.

Se detectar irregularidades da cor no ecrã de um
televisor que se encontre próximo
Apesar de não dispor de protecção anti-magnetismo, pode
instalar o televisor da série KL-50W em cima do sistema.
Uma vez que o televisor da série KL-50W está equipado com
a tecnologia de projecção LCD, este não é afectado pelos
ímans dos altifalantes.
Se instalar outro televisor próximo do sistema, pode
provocar irregularidades de cor no ecrã do televisor.
Televisor da série KL-50W
Instale o televisor KL-50W em cima do sistema e
prenda-o com a correia de estabilização da base do
televisor e o gancho respectivo.
Neste caso, proceda da seguinte forma:
n Afaste o televisor dos altifalantes, desligue e ligue-o
novamente decorridos 15 a 30 minutos.
Instalação

Não instale os altifalantes perto de fontes de calor como
radiadores e condutas de ar, ou em locais expostos à
incidência directa dos raios solares, a poeiras excessivas, a
vibrações ou a choques mecânicos.

Uma boa ventilação é essencial para evitar o
sobreaquecimento interno dos altifalantes. Instale o
sistema num local com uma circulação de ar adequada.
Não instale os altifalantes demasiado perto de uma parede
pois, se o fizer, pode obstruir o orifício de ventilação,
localizado na parte posterior do sistema.
Limpeza da caixa
Limpe a caixa dos altifalantes com um pano macio
ligeiramente humedecido em água. Não utilize panos
abrasivos, pó de limpeza ou solventes como álcool ou
benzina.

Nota
Utilize apenas um dos terminais LOW LEVEL ou HIGH
LEVEL para fazer a ligação. A utilização dos dois terminais

sistema quando ligar o televisor KL-50W ou um
amplificador separado.

O que é o sistema Dolby Pro Logic Surround?
Dolby Pro Logic Surround é um sistema que descodifica os
canais suplementares dos filmes de video e dos programas
de televisão produzindo efeitos de som e ecos que fazem
com que se sinta envolvido pela acção. O som é intensificado
através da utilização de quatro canais separados: efeitos de
som fora do ecrã, diálogo no ecrã, deslocação horizontal do
som da esquerda para a direita e música. Estes canais tratam
o som e intensificam a acção à medida que esta se vai
desenrolando no ecrã.

Carregue no botão PHASE para seleccionar a polaridade da fase. Se
ligar um televisor KL-50W, seleccione a polaridade de fase normal (+).
Se carregar no botão PHASE inverte a polaridade e pode obter uma
melhor reprodução dos graves em determinados ambientes de
audição. (A reprodução dos graves depende do tipo das colunas
centrais, da posição do sistema de colunas e da regulação da
frequência de corte). Este procedimento também pode alterar a
extensão e a profundidade do som e afectar o campo do som. Efectue
a regulação que melhor se adapta à posição de audição normal.

altavoces y fije el TV a éste con la correa de
estabilización de soporte de TV y con el clip de dicha
correa.
Si se produce irregularidad de color....
n Aleje el TV del sistema de altavoces, apague el TV y
vuelva a encenderlo transcurridos 15 o 30 minutos.
Instalación
•
No instale el sistema de altavoces cerca de fuentes
térmicas, como radiadores o conductos de aire caliente, ni
expuesto a la luz solar directa, polvo excesivo ni
vibraciones o golpes mecánicos.
•
Una buena ventilación es esencial para evitar el
recalentamiento interno del sistema. Sitúe éste en un lugar
donde reciba una circulación adecuada de aire. No
coloque el sistema demasiado cerca de una pared, ya que
si lo hace puede obstruirse el orificio de ventilación de la
parte trasera.
Limpieza del exterior
Limpie el exterior con un paño suave ligeramente
humedecido con agua. No utilice estropajos abrasivos,
detergente en polvo ni disolventes, como alcohol o bencina.

amplificador por separado.

Descripción del sistema Dolby Pro Logic Surround
Este sistema decodifica los canales adicionales de las
películas y de programas de TV, y produce efectos sonoros y
ecos que proporcionan mayor realismo a la acción. La
imagen de sonido se mejora mediante el uso de cuatro
canales independientes: efectos de audio “off-screen”,
diálogo “on-screen”, ampliación de izquierda a derecha y
música. Estos canales tratan el sonido y potencian la acción
de forma que ésta parezca desarrollarse en la pantalla.
La unidad dispone del modo PROLOGIC de estos sistemas
como uno de los campos sonoros. Si una cinta de vídeo o un
disco láser emplea software codificado Dolby Pro Logic

Pulse el botón PHASE para seleccionar la polaridad de fase.
Seleccione la polaridad normal (+) si conecta un TV de la serie
KL-50W. Al pulsar el botón PHASE, la polaridad se invierte y puede
obtenerse una mejor reproducción de graves en determinados
entornos de escucha. (La reproducción de graves depende del tipo de
altavoz frontal, de la posición del sistema de altavoces y del ajuste de
la frecuencia de corte). También puede cambiar la amplitud y la
consistencia del sonido, e influir en la sensación del campo sonoro.
Seleccione el ajuste que ofrezca el sonido preferido cuando escuche
desde su posición de escucha normal.

rekommenderas att högtalarsystemet placeras på ett
fast golv där resonans normalt inte uppstår.

Sänk högtalarvolymen till minimum.

Undvik att skada högtalarsystemet
Placera alltid högtalarna några centimeter ut från väggen.
Placera inga andra föremål än KL-50W TV-n på
högtalarsystemet. Sitt inte på högtalarsystemet.
Om högtalarsystemet placeras mitt i rummet kan basljudet
försvagas avsevärt. Detta beror uppkomsten av en
stående våg som påverkar basljudet. Om detta inträffar,
flyttar du högtalarsystemet ut från mitten av rummet eller
eliminerar orsaken till den stående vågen genom att
placera något vid väggen på den motsatta sidan,
exempelvis en bokhylla.

Var försiktig när du justerar volymen på KL-50W TVn

eller förstärkaren för att undvika för hög ineffekt.

Försök inte att öppna eller bygga om högtalarenheterna.

Högtalarsystemet är inte magnetiskt skärmat, men du kan
ändå installera KL-50W TVn till högtalarsystemet.
Eftersom KL-50W TVn har en LCD påverkas den inte av
högtalarmagneterna.
Om du placerar en annan TV i närheten av högtalarsystemet
kan färgstörningar förekomma på TV-skärmen.

Placera KL-50W TVn på högtalarsystemet och fixera
den vid högtalarsystemet med hjälp av
stabiliseringsremmen och remklämman.
Om färgstörningar förekommer...
n Flytta TVn bort från högtalarsystemet, stäng av TVn
och slå sedan på den efter 15 eller 30 minuter.
Angående installation
•
Placera inte högtalarsystemet nära värmekällor som t ex
element eller varmluftsventiler eller där den utsätts för
direkt solljus, damm, mekaniska vibrationer eller stötar.
God ventilation är mycket viktigt för att undvika inre
överhettning i högtalarsystemet. Placera högtalarsystemet
vid en plats med tillräcklig ventilation. Placera inte
högtalarsystemet för nära en vägg då detta kan blockera
ventilationsöppningen på baksidan.
•
Angående rengöring av höljet
Rengör höljet med en mjuk duk som är lätt fuktad med
vatten. Använd inte slipmedel, skurpulver eller
lösningsmedel såsom alkohol eller bensin.

högtalarkablarna. Var noga med att ansluta både
L-och R-kanalen.
Observera
När strömmen till förstärkaren slås av måste volymen
sänkas eller strömmen till högtalarsystemet slås av. Annars
kan ljudstörningar uppstå.

Vad är Dolby Pro Logic Surround?

Dolby Surround är ett system som avkodar de extra kanaler
på de ljudspår i filmer och TV-program som är Dolby
Surround-kodade och skapar ljudeffekter och ekon som
skapar en känsla av att du befinner dig mitt i händelsernas
centrum. Ljudbilden förbättras genom att fyra olika kanaler
används: bakgrundsljudeffekter, dialog, panorering från
vänster till höger och musik. Dessa kanaler manipulerar
ljudet och framhäver handlingen på skärmen.

subwooferns HIGH LEVEL-pol.
Som ett av ljudfälten har enheten PROLOGIC-läge för dessa
system. På dess förpackning ser du om en videokassett eller
laserskiva innehåller programvara som är Dolby Surround-
eller Dolby Pro Logic Surround-kodad. (Vissa videokassetter
och laserskivor kan ha Dolby Pro Logic Surround även om
det inte anges på förpackningen.)

Justera volymen på TV-n eller förstärkaren i KL-50W-serien så att
ljudet från de främre högtalarna inte förvrängs.

Följ anvisningarna nedan för att
undvika att högtalarna skadas:
Ställ aldrig tonklangsreglagen på
förstärkaren eller på
tonkontrollsutgången till en hög
nivå och sänd aldrig sinusvågor på
20 Hz-50 Hz från testskivor som
finns att köpa i handeln. Sänd inte
heller speciella ljud (basljud från
elektroniska musikinstrument,
ljudstörningar på analoga
Standby-läge
När ingen signal tas emot ställs högtalarsystemet i vänteläge och
strömindikatorn (POWER) lyser röd. När en ny signal tas emot av
högtalarsystemet ställs systemet åter i aktivt läge och strömindikatorn
(POWER) lyser grön.

högtalaren eller slå av KL-50W TVn eller förstärkaren innan högtalarsystemet
slås av.

passande för justering. Justera volymen för de främre högtalarna till
normal nivå.
Justera volymen för detta högtalarsystem.
Vrid volymreglaget till ett läge där basljudet hörs något tydligare än
tidigare.
Vrid VOLUME-kontrollen medurs för att öka basljudet.
Vrid VOLUME-kontrollen motsols för att minska basljudet.
Ställ in övergångsfrekvensen.

Vrid CROSSOVER-kontrollen för att kontrollera de främre
högtalarnas frekvenser för ljudåtergivning.
Vrid kontrollen till 150 Hz om de främre högtalarna är små.
Vrid kontrollen till 50 Hz om de främre högtalarna är stora.
Justera reglaget CROSSOVER till det märkta (KL-50W) läget när du
ansluter KL-50W TVn.
Välj fasriktning.
Tryck på PHASE-knappen för att välja fasriktning. Välj normal (+)
fasriktning om du ansluter en TV i KL-50W-serien.
När du trycker ned PHASE-knappen kastas fasriktningen om, vilket
kan ge bättre basljudsåtergivning vissa miljöer.
(Basljudsåterginingen är beroende av vilken typ av främre högtalare
som används, högtalarsystemets läge och inställningen av
gränsfrekvensen).
Detta kan också ändra ljudets omfång och fasthet samt påverka
känslan i ljudfältet. Välj det läge som ger önskad effekt vid det
normala lyssningsläget

Slå av basförstärkningen och
