1 Set the power switch to AUTO.

2 Set the camcorder to standby mode.
The video light turns on automatically when using the camcorder in a
dark place.
• Never look directly at the lamp while the video light is on.
• Avoid placing the video light near combustible or volatile solvents such
as alcohol or benzine.

To turn off the video light when the light is on, switch the camcorder to

To turn off the video light, switch the camcorder to OFF (CHG), or
switch the video light to OFF.
On cleaning
Clean the video light with a dry soft cloth. You can remove stubborn stains
with a cloth lightly dampered with a mild detergent solution, then dry the
unit with a soft cloth.
