14. To avoid fire or shock hazard, plug the unit directly into a 120 V AC electrical outlet.  
15. To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet. Pull firmly on the plug, DO NOT unplug by  
pulling on the cord.  
16. Always unplug the unit before moving or cleaning, or whenever the heater is not in use.  
17. Use only for intended household use as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer  
may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by unauthorized  
dealers may cause hazards.  
18. Always use on a dry, level surface. Use on floor only.  
19. W ARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, DO NOT use this unit with any solid-state speed control  
device.

BUTTON FUNCTIONS:  
1. POW ER: Powers the unit ON and OFF (located in the middle of the bottom row of buttons)  
2. HEAT SETTING: Cycles through LOW and HIGH heat settings  
3. OSCILLATION: Turns Oscillation on and off  
4. TIM ER: Activates the Auto Shut-off Timer  
5. UP & DOW N: Changes the thermostat temperature

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS  
Place the heater on a firm, level surface and plug into a grounded 120V 60Hz power outlet.  
Only operate the heater when it is in the upright position.  
Use the instructions below to operate the heater using the control panel or the included remote  
control.  
1. Turn on the power switch on the back of the unit. W hen this switch is turned on, the red  
POW ER INDICATION LIGHT will light up indicating there is power to the unit.  
2. Press the POW ER button on the control panel or remote control to turn on the unit.  
3. Press the HEAT SETTING button on the control panel or remote control to choose your  
desired heat setting. You may choose between High and Low. The heat setting icon on the  
display will changed depending on the setting you have selected. W hen High is selected, all  
six bars on the heat setting icon will all light up. W hen Low is selected only two of the bars  
will light up.  
4. To change the desired thermostat temperature, press the UP and DOW N buttons on the  
control panel or remote control. These buttons will cycle through the different temperature  
settings.  
5. To active oscillation, press the OSCILLATION button on the control panel or remote con-  
trol. Once the OSCILLATION button is press, the heater will rotate side-to-side spreading  
warm air throughout the room. The Oscillation icon will light up on the display panel when  
Oscillation is selected.  
6. To activate the Auto-off timer, press the TIM ER button on the control panel or remote con-  
trol. The timer icon will light up on the display once this button is pressed. Continue to  
press the timer until the desired shut-off time is selected. The timer can be programmed  
from 1 to 12 hours. Each press of the timer button will increase the timer for one hour. To  
deactivate the timer, press the timer once after the number —12“ is visible on the display.  
The number —12“ will disappear and the time will be deactivated.

MAINTENANCE  
W ARNING: ALW AYS UNPLUG THE CORD BEFORE M OVING OR SERVICING.  
CLEANING: IMPORTANT! DO NOT IMMERSE HEATER IN W ATER! Clean the heater grills using the  
vacuum brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner. This will remove lint and dirt from the inside of the heater.  
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE HEATER APART. Clean the body of heater with a soft cloth.  
CAUTION: Do not use gasoline, benzine, thinner, harsh cleaners, etc. as they will damage the heater.  
NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR SOLVENTS.  
SAFETY FEATURES  
1. A thermal overload protector is built in to prevent overheating.  
2. W hen an overheat temperature is reached, the heater will be automatically shut off. It can only resume  
operation when the user resets the unit. (See RESET INSTRUCTION below)  
RESET INSTRUCTION  
Unplug the heater and wait 10 minutes for the unit to cool down.  
After the 10 minutes, plug the unit in again and operate normally.  
STORAGE  
If the heater will not be used for a long period of time, store it in a cool, dry location when not in use. To  
prevent dust and dirt build-up, use the original packaging to repack the unit.  
TROUBLESHOOTING  
If your heater shuts off unexpectedly or fails to operate, one of the above-mentioned safety features may have  
activated to prevent overheating.  
1. Be sure the power cord is plugged into a working electrical outlet.  
2. Check your thermostat setting. The heater may be off because it has reached the desired temperature  
setting.

WARRANTY  
One Year Limited W arranty  
Soleus International Inc. warrants the accompanying Soleus Air HC6-15R-01 Ceramic Tower Heater to be free of  
defects in material and workmanship for the applications specified in its operation instruction for a period of ONE (1)  
year from the date of original retail purchase in the United States.  
If the unit exhibits a defect in normal use, Soleus International Inc. will, at its option, either repair or replace it, free of  
charge within a reasonable time after the unit is returned during the warranty period.  
As a condition to any warranty service obligation, the consumer must present this W arranty Certificate along with a  
copy of the original purchase invoice.  
THIS W ARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

Damage, accidental or otherwise, to the unit while in the possession of a consumer not caused by a defect in  
material or workmanship.  
ñ
Damage caused by consumer misuse, tampering, or failure to follow the care and special handling provisions  
in the instructions. This includes dents, accidental or otherwise, to the base and head of the unit.

Damage to the finish of the case, or other appearance parts caused by wear.  
Damage caused by repairs or alterations of the unit by anyone other than those authorized by Soleus  
International Inc.

Freight and Insurance cost for the warranty service.  
ALL W ARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED W ARRANTY OF MERCHANT ABILITY ARE LIMITED TO  
ONE-YEAR DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED W ARRANTY. SOLEUS INTERNATIONAL INC.  
DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES AND IN NO EVENT  
SHALL SOLEUS INTERNATIONAL INC‘S LIABILITY EXCEED THE RETAIL VALUE OF THE UNIT FOR  
BREACH OF ANY W RITTEN OR IMPLIED W ARRANTY W ITH RESPECT TO THIS UNIT.  
This warranty covers only new products purchased from our authorized dealers or retailers. It does not cover used, sal-  
vaged, or refurbished products.  
As some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, or do not allow  
limitation on implied warranties, the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you  
specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
