find out that this product has many applications, some that we may not
even have mentioned. The following instruction manual will go over your
products, its features, and how to install it. Please read over all of the
instructions and maintenance information so you can extend the life of
this great product.

Product Features (see diagrams below)
The camera uses a 4 pin DIN connection in the back.
This connection, using one plug, contains the power,
audio, video and the power ground for the camera.
The power is sent through the monitor.
The mounting bracket for the camera should be
able to move freely. Do not force the bracket to go
to a particular position as the bracket may break.
You can also remount the bracket on top of the
camera so you can mount it to a ceiling.

Installation Procedures (see diagram below)
Installation
1. Locate the area you would like to place your camera. Please note
that you have a maximum distance of 60ft supplied with this
unit.
2. You will have to rotate the camera bracket to uncover the
screw insertion areas. Install the camera accordingly.
Note: the camera can operate standing alone but
screws will provide more support. (Picture on right)
3. Plug the correct end of the supplied cable to the
back of the camera.
4. Locate the area where you will place your monitor
and plug it in. Make sure that the power is turned off before you
proceed. To turn off the monitor press the power button in the front
of the monitor.
5. Plug the cable into the audio/video input jacks. Make sure that the
white and yellow plugs on the cable correspond with the white and
yellow jacks on the monitor.
6. Turn the monitor on. The feed from the camera should be on the
monitor. If not, press the function switcher button to change the
channel.
7. If you would like to record on your VCR, plug RCA cables into the
audio/video output jacks on the monitor and match them into the
corresponding jacks on your VCR input jack. Switch to your VCR’s
input channel and you can now record.

Troubleshooting
Please read this manual carefully before using the wired line. If you have
any difficulties using this unit, please consult the following checklist.
No picture or sound
1. Check and make sure that the power adapters are properly
attached to the units.
2. Make sure that all cables are connected to the proper colours and
are snug with the jacks.
3. Make sure that the camera and the monitor are both on the same
channel.
The Image is fuzzy
1. Rotate the lens with your fingers either clockwise or counter-clockwise
until the image is where you want it to be.
Care and maintenance
• Keep all parts and accessories out of reach of young children.
• Do not attempt to open the case. Non-expert handling of the device
may damage it.
• Do not use or store in dusty, dirty or moist areas. This is an indoor unit.
• Do not store in hot areas. High temperatures can shorten the life of
electronic devices and warp or melt certain plastics.
• Do not store in very cold areas. When the system warms up
(to its normal temperature), moisture can form inside the case, which
may damage electronic circuit boards.
• Do not drop, knock, or shake it. Rough handling can break internal
circuit boards.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents
when cleaning.
• Operate this product using only the power supply included with it or
provided as an accessory.

Warranty Terms
1. SVAT products are guaranteed for a period of one year from the date of purchase against defects in
workmanship and materials. This warranty is limited to the repair, replacement or refund of the purchase price
at SVAT's option.
2. When service is required, the warranty is validated by the submission of a fully completed warranty card.
3. This warranty becomes void if the product shows evidence of having been misused, mishandled or tampered
with contrary to the applicable instruction manual.
4. Routine cleaning, normal cosmetic and mechanical wear and tear are not covered under the terms of this
warranty.
5. The warranty expressly provided for herein is the sole warranty provided in connection with the product itself
and no other warranty, expressed or implied is provided. SVAT assumes no responsibilities for any other
claims not specifically mentioned in this warranty.
6. This warranty does not cover the shipping cost, insurance or any other incidental charges.
7. You MUST call SVAT before sending any product back for repair. You will be given a Return Authorization
number. When returning the product for warranty service, please pack it carefully in the original box with all
supplied accessories, and enclose your original receipt or copy, and a brief explanation of the problem
(include RA #).
8. This warranty is valid only in Canada and the U.S.A.
9. This warranty card cannot be re-issued.

Graphic Symbol Explanation:

Caractéristiques du produit (voir des diagrammes ci-dessous)
L'appareil-photo utilise 4 une goupille raccordement
DIN dans le dos. Ce raccordement, à l'aide d'une
prise, contient la puissance, l'acoustique, la vidéo et
la puissance rectifiée pour l'appareil-photo. La puis-
sance est envoyée par le moniteur.
Le support pour l'appareil-photo devrait pouvoir se
bouger librement. Ne forcez pas la parenthèse pour
aller dans une position particulière comme la paren-
thèse peut se casser. Vous pouvez également
remount la parenthèse sur l'appareil-photo ainsi vous
pouvez le monter à un plafond.

Installation
1. Localisez le secteur que vous voudriez placer votre appareil-photo.
Veuillez noter que vous avez une distance maximum de 60ft fournis
avec cette unité.
2. Vous devrez tourner la parenthèse d'appareil-photo
pour découvrir les secteurs d'insertion de vis. Installez
l'appareil-photo en conséquence.
Note : l'appareil-photo peut actionner seul debout
mais les vis fourniront plus d'appui. Droite image.
3. Branchez le raccordement DIN sur l'appareil-photo au
raccordement correspondant sur le câble fourni.
4. Localisez le secteur où vous placerez votre moniteur et le
brancherez. Assurez-vous que le courant est coupé avant que vous
procédiez. Pour arrêter le moniteur appuyez sur le bouton de puis
sance dans l'avant du moniteur.
5. Branchez le câble aux crics d'entrée d'audio/video. Assurez-vous
que les prises blanches et jaunes sur le câble correspondent aux
crics blancs et jaunes sur le moniteur
6. Allumez le moniteur. L'alimentation de l'appareil-photo devrait être
sur le moniteur. Si pas, appuyez sur le bouton de commutateur de
fonction pour changer le canal.
7. Si vous voudriez enregistrer sur votre magnétoscope, la prise RCA
câble dans les crics de rendement d'audio/video sur le moniteur et
les assortit dans les crics correspondants sur votre cric d'entrée de
magnétoscope. Le commutateur à votre canal et vous d'entrée de
VCR's peut maintenant enregistrer.

Dépannage
Veuillez lire ce manuel soigneusement avant d'employer la ligne de câble. Si

Aucune image ou bruit
1. Vérifiez et assurez-vous que les adapteurs de puissance sont
correctement attachés aux unités

le même canal.
L'image est brouillée
1. Tournez l'objectif avec vos doigts dans le sens des aiguilles d'une
montre ou dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à ce
que l'image soit où vous voulez qu'elle soit.
Soin et entretien
• Maintenez tous les pièces et accessoires hors de portée des enfants en bas
âge.
• N'essayez pas d'ouvrir la valise. la manipulation d'Non-expert du dispositif
peut l'endommager.
• N'employez pas ou pas entreposé dans des secteurs poussiéreux et sales.
• Pas entreposé dans des secteurs chauds. Les températures élevées peuvent
raccourcir la vie des dispositifs électroniques et déformer ou fondre certains
plastiques.
• Pas entreposé dans des secteurs très froids. Quand le système réchauffe
(à sa température normale), l'humidité peut former à l'intérieur du cas, qui
peut endommager les cartes électroniques.
• Ne le laissez pas tomber, ne frappez pas, ou ne secouez pas. Une
manipulation peu soigneuse peut casser les cartes internes.
• N'employez pas les produits chimiques durs, les dissolvants de nettoy age, ou
les détergents forts en nettoyant.
• Actionnez ce produit en utilisant seulement l'alimentation d'énergie incluse
avec elle ou si comme accessoire.
