MAINTENANCE
1.Keep the radio dry. If it does get wet, wipe it
immediately. Liquids may contain chemicals that
can corrode electronic circuitry.
2.Use and store your radio only in normal
temperature environments. High temperature
can shorten the life of electronic devices,
damage batteries and melt plastic parts.
3.Handle the radio gently and carefully. Dropping
it can damage circuit boards and cases and
render it defective.
4.Keep the radio away from dust and dirt.
5.Wipe the radio with a damp cloth to keep it look-
ing new. Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents
or strong detergents.
6.Use only fresh batteries of the recommended
size and type. Always remove old or weak bat-
teries as they can leak and destroy electronic
components and circuitry.
7.Modifying or tampering with the radio 's internal
components can cause a malfunction, and will
void the product's warranty.
