Install battery  
Caution  
Risk of explosion! Keep batteries away from heat, sunshine or fire.  
Never discard batteries in fire.  
Risk of product damage! When the apparatus is not used for long  
periods, remove the battery.  
Batteries contain chemical substances, so they should be disposed  
of properly.

Open the battery compartment.  
Insert 3 AA batteries (not supplied) with correct polarity (+/-)  
as indicated.

You can place the unit on a flat surface or hang it in your bathroom  
through the strap.

The strap is detachable.

Note  
You can program a maximum of 20 preset FM radio stations and  
20 preset MW radio stations.

Press and hold for 2 seconds.

All available stations are programmed in the order of waveband  
reception strength.

You can set the clock radio to turn off automatically after a certain  
period of time.

6 Troubleshooting

If you encounter problems when using this apparatus, check the  
following points before requesting service. If the problem remains  
unsolved, go to the Philips web site (www.philips.com/welcome).When  
you contact Philips, ensure that the apparatus is nearby and the model  
number and serial number are available.  
No power  
Ensure that the battery is installed properly.  
Replace the exhausted battery.  
Timer does not work  
Set the clock correctly.  
Switch on the timer.  
No sound  
Adjust the volume.  
Clock/timer setting erased  
Replace the exhausted battery.  
Reset the clock/timer.  
No response from the unit  
Take out the batteries and turn on the unit again.
