IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Your MaxTower is made of a very durable polymer composite material. However, extra care should be
taken to protect the finish and speakers. These simple tips will help reduce wear and tear on your
MaxTower.
1. Read all instructions before using.
2. Avoid direct contact with the speaker. Care should be taken to avoid damage to speakers.
3. Do not use or store around excessive moisture.
4. At very high volume this product may be capable of producing sound levels that could cause hearing
damage. Do not operate at uncomfortable levels for prolonged periods. If hearing loss or ringing in ears
in experienced, consult a physician.
5. The MaxTower should be positioned so that proper ventilation is maintained.
6. Keep away from heat sources such as radiators, heat vents, and other devices (including amplifiers)
that produce heat.
7. The MaxTower should be connected to a power supply described in the operating instructions or as
marked. Replace fuse with correct type, size, and rating.
8. The power supply cord should: (1) be undamaged, (2) never share an outlet or extension cord with
other devices so that the outlet has exceeded the maximum rating, and (3) never be left plugged into the
outlet when not being used for a long period of time.
9. This product should be serviced by qualified service personnel if:
• The power supply cord or the plug has been damaged.
• One of the speakers has been damaged.
• There has been excessive exposure to rain.
• The MaxTower does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a change in performance.
• The unit has been dropped, or the enclosure damaged.
• Do not attempt to service the product beyond what is described in these instructions. All other repairs
should be referred to qualified service personnel.
• Clean only with damp cloth.
• Use only with the supplied Nady stand.
• Units designed with Class-I construction (like the MaxTower) must be connected to an outlet with a
grounded connection.
STATEMENT OF RoHS COMPLIANCE
The included electronic parts and components are covered by the European Union Removal of Hazardous
Substances directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS). This directive seeks to eliminate the toxic substances released
during manufacturing processes to ensure that disposed of materials do not pose health risks. Considered
toxic substances are lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)
and polybrominated diphenylethers (PBDE). Lead is used together with tin in solder connections to reduce
the melting point of solder. Lead-free solder requires higher soldering temperatures which in turn places
greater thermal stress on components.
The MaxTower complies with RoHS directives and uses components that are certified RoHS compliant.

INSTALLATION & OPERATION
Please read this manual thoroughly before using.
Your MaxTower was carefully packed at the factory in packaging designed to
protect the unit in shipment. Before installing and using your unit, carefully
examine the packaging and all contents for any signs of physical damage
that may have occurred in transit.
• Instruction manual
• MaxTower PAS-250 (verify unit’s serial number is same as shown on
shipping carton)
• AC power cord
Tripod speaker stand
• Nylon carrying bag
The MaxTower and stand fit securely in the supplied padded bag.
• Open the bag and remove the stand.
• Loosen the knobs, set up the stand, select height.
• Insert the metal pin through the stand.
• Tighten the knobs to secure.
• Remove MaxTower from the padded bag.
• Place MaxTower on stand securely through bottom mounting hole.
• Plug the AC power cord into the rear panel jack (11), then power cord
into a nearby power outlet. The MaxTower has an internal power
supply and is designed to operate from an external AC source (Power
Range: AC l00~240V, 50/6OHz (+/— 10%). Make sure that the unit is
turned off before connecting to the AC power source to avoid possible
loud transients that can damage your speakers or your ears, especially
when monitoring with headphones.
Turn on unit with Power ON/OFF Switch (13) on rear panel. The
Power On LED (1) will light.
• Plug in mic or instrument, make any necessary adjustments, setting
channel gain, EQ, and reverb.

Master volume (2) controls the level of the main power amplifier.
NOTE: The MaxTower can be set to very high sound levels. To protect
the system from damage, included is an active protection circuit. At high
sound levels this active protection will lower the output until the volume is
adjusted.
• The front panel has 2x combo XLR-¼ (8) input jacks for the following
inputs: ¼” instrument level, ¼” line level, XLR dynamic microphone, XLR
condenser microphone, & XLR line level
10dB attenuation pad button (7) next to each input jack to best
match the level of each input source.
Phantom power button (9) switches on and off 48VDC phantom
power to both channels simultaneously for using a condenser microphone
with an XLR plug. NOTE: Sending 48VDC phantom power to the XLR plug
of a dynamic microphone will not typically harm the microphone. However
to avoid possible damage, we recommend that you verify this for any
specific dynamic microphone prior to using phantom power.
Gain adjustment knob (6) adjusts the input sensitivity. NOTE: The
gain knob can be used to avoid distortion and feedback with high level
signals. It is best to begin with the gain lower to avoid damaging the
power amplifier section.
Reverb knob (5) is used to control the level of reverb for each channel.
EQ knob (4) adjusts the low & high frequencies. Top center (detent
position) enables flat operation (no EQ effect). Turning the knob to the
right increases the level of treble and reduces the bass level. Turning the
knob to the left increases the bass level and reduces the treble.
Mute button (3) mutes both channels. A small red LED is on when the
mute is active. The mute button shuts off the signal to both the internal
power amplifier and to the rear line output, so that inputs can be swapped
or instrument or mic adjustments can be made without unwanted noise.
