Installation  
Installing the Battery:

1. Remove the battery cover from the speaker-  
phone.  
2. Insert the battery into the speaker phone pay-  
ing particular attention to the - and + indica-  
tors on the battery.  
3. Reinstall the battery cover on the speaker-  
phone.  
Battery Cover  
Charging the Speakerphone:  
Insert the charger into a vehicle power outlet  
and the charging plug into speakerphone’s  
charging socket. Charge the battery fully before  
using for the first time. Normal charging time is  
approximately 3 hours. The LED indicator will  
flash red when charging and will be off when  
charging is completed. Remove the charger  
from speakerphone and the vehicle power outlet  
when charging is completed.  
Notes:  
1. Low power indication: The LED will flash red  
every 3 seconds when the speakerphone is  
running low on power. Charge the speaker-  
phone immediately. If battery is not charged  
the speakerphone will automatically shut off.  
2. Charging indication may be delayed for a few  
minutes if the speakerphone has not been  
used for a long time or the battery is drained.  
PLEASE READ PRIOR TO INSTALLATION  
CAUTION: Majority of vehicles manufactured today include air bag systems that inflates with great force dur-  
ing an accident. If necessary, contact the vehicle’s manufacturer for air bag information specific to the vehicle.  
DO NOT place an object, including all components in the area over the air bag or in the air bag deployment  
area. If the components are improperly installed, serious injury could occur during inflation of the air bag.  
• Mount components securely to prevent shifting that could cause injury or interfere with the vehicle  
being operated safely.  
• This hands-free kit is intended for 12 Volt DC operation only.  
Mounting Speakerphone:  
Insert the mounting clip into the speaker phone.  
The mounting clip can be inserted from the top  
or bottom to accommodate different mounting  
locations.

Operation Instructions  
Turning On/Off the Speakerphone  
Turning On: When speakerphone is in off mode:  
Press and hold the multi-function button for 3 seconds until you hear a short beep. The LED will flash  
blue for 3 seconds.  
Turning Off: When speakerphone is in standby mode:  
Press and hold the multi-function button for 3 seconds until you hear a long beep. The LED will flash red.  
IMPORTANT: Press the multi-function button each time you turn the speakerphone on to reconnect the  
paring so that the connection with the speakerphone and paired mobile handset is resumed. For pair-  
ing, please refer to procedures under “Pairing”.  
Pairing to a Mobile Handset  
Prior to using the speakerphone for the first time, you must pair it with a Bluetooth-enabled mobile hand-  
set. The following steps describes pairing instruction for a typical Bluetooth-enabled mobile handset.  
1. Place the speakerphone and mobile handset no more than 3 feet apart.  
2. Ensure the speakerphone is in the OFF mode.  
3. Press and hold the multi-function button for 6 seconds until you hear a long beep. The LED will  
flash red and blue alternatively. It’s now ready for pairing.  
4. Activate your mobile handset’s Bluetooth accessing function by referring to your mobile handset  
user guide for details. Mean while, the handset will search for accessible Bluetooth devices.  
5. Select “BT-HFKP10” from the list.  
6. Enter the pre-programmed passkey “0000” and press “OK” to pair the speakerphone and the  
handset. When pairing is completed, you may hear a long beep and LED will flash blue 3 times.  
The speakerphone is in standby mode when LED flashes blue every 3 seconds.  
7. Press “Return” to go back to your handset’s main menu. (For most of the mobile handset models,  
a headset icon will be shown on the screen.) You should now be able to make and receive calls  
through the speakerphone. Please place the mobile handset to the speakerphone no more than 30  
feet. (Obstruction could cause shorter sensing distance.)  
IMPORTANT: Under the pairing mode, if the pairing cannot be completed within 2 minutes, the  
speakerphone’s LED will flash off and speakerphone will be in off mode. Please repeat step 3 to 7 to  
pair the speakerphone and mobile handset again.

Connection/Link to a Mobile Handset  
After pairing is completed, speakerphone is always in standby mode. Before you place or answer a call,  
if the headset ICON is not shown on phone screen, please follow the simple steps to activate the  
Bluetooth connection/link through your handset or speakerphone until the headset ICON is on the screen.  
1. On Handset: Select “BT-HFKP10” from the paired list on your handset screen.  
2. On Speakerphone: Short press multi-function button and select “Accept” on handset screen to  
accept connection.  
IMPORTANT: Whenever Bluetooth connection/link is removed and you cannot see the headset ICON  
on phone screen, for example: power off on speakerphone/mobile handset or out of 30 feet sensing  
distance, please activate connection/link as suggested.  
Disconnecting from the Mobile Handset  
You may connect your speakerphone to another Bluetooth handset. Please follow the steps to discon-  
nect the speakerphone with the pre-paired handset.  
1. Power off the speakerphone.  
2. Select “disconnecting” to remove previous connection from your handset list.  
IMPORTANT: Once mobile handset and speakerphone had been disconnected, for example: when the  
connecting range is over 30 feet or mobile headset is power off, the speakerphone will emits 2 short  
beeps per minute and LED will flash blue per 3 seconds. If mobile headset enters connecting range 30  
feet with speakerphone within 10 minutes, the speakerphone will activate connection automatically and it  
is not necessary to push multi-function button for to reconnect. If mobile headset doesn’t enter connect-  
ing range 30 feet with speakerphone within 10 minutes, the speakerphone will power off automatically.  
Using the Speakerphone  
Once pairing is completed and battery is fully charged, you may access the following functions. Some  
of the below-mentioned functions are only accessible for handset's supported with Hands-Free Profile.  
Answering a Call:  
To answer a call, wait for the ringing tone from speakerphone, then quickly press the multi-function  
button to accept the call or answer the call via your mobile handset in the normal way.  
Ending a Call:  
Short press the multi-function button, to end your call or end the call via your mobile handset in the  
normal way. You will hear a short beep from the speaker.  
Reject a Call:  
When you hear the ringing tone, press and hold the multi-function button for 3 seconds until you  
hear a short beep.  
Voice Dialing:  
If your mobile handset is voice dialing enabled, under standby mode, press the multi-function button  
and when you hear a beep, say the voice tag.  
IMPORTANT: Please make sure to record voice tag into the mobile handset before using voice dialing  
function. This function is only applicable to mobile handset with Bluetooth Hands-Free Profile. Due  
to variation of phones, you may not hear the beep. Please refer to your mobile handset user guide  
for additional information.  
Last Number Re-Dialing:  
Under standby mode, quickly press multi-function button twice for last number redial.  
Adjusting the Volume:

Mute:  
a. To mute the speakerphone, quickly press the “MODE” button. Meanwhile, the speakerphone will  
beep 1 time every 15 seconds and the LED flashes red.  
b. To un-mute the speakerphone, quickly press the “MODE” button.  
Call Inter-Changing:  
Speakerphone to Handset: During a conversation press and hold the + and  
-
buttons simultaneous-  
ly to switch operation from the speakerphone to the handset.  
Handset to Speakerphone: Press the multi-function button to switch operation from the handset to  
the speakerphone.  
Restore to Default-Remove Previous Pairing & Connection  
You may want to reset the speakerphone to its original settings and clear the previous pairing. Please  
follow these simple steps.  
1. Ensure the speakerphone is under standby mode.  
2. Press and hold the volume + and  
and red alternatively. Release the buttons.  
3. Again, press and hold the + and buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds until speakerphone emits

2 short beeps. The speakerphone will be powered off and back to default setting.  
4. After defaulting, if speakerphone is powered on again, the LED will flash red every 3 seconds and  
speakerphone will emit 3 beeps every 1 minute. Then, the speakerphone will be powered off with-  
in 2 minutes. The speakerphone will be back to normal when LED flashes blue every 3 seconds  
after completion of pairing with Bluetooth devices.

Care and Maintenance  
• Do not expose the speakerphone to liquid, moisture or humidity, as it is not waterproof.  
• Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the speakerphone.  
• Do not expose the speakerphone to high temperatures.  
• Do not attempt to disassemble the speakerphone, as it does not contain serviceable components.  
• If you do not use the speakerphone for long periods, be sure to store it in a dry place, free from extreme  
temperature, humidity and dust.  
• Only use the MobileVision supplied charger when charging the speakerphone.  
• Only charge the speakerphone’s built-in battery in accordance with the instructions of this user guide.  
• Avoid charging the speakerphone in extreme high or low temperatures.

If all the above steps do not resolve your problem, remove the battery  
for 10 minutes.  
The Bluetooth speakerphone is compliant with and adopts the Bluetooth Specification V1.2. However,  
interoperability between the device and other Bluetooth-enable products is not guaranteed because it  
depends on compatibility. For more information on the compatibility between the device with other  
Bluetooth-enabled products, please check with the manufacturer/importer.

to you, repair, replace or refund the retail sales price of said product or any part thereof, at  
the option of the Magnadyne Corporation or its authorized agents, if said product or part  
is found defective in materials or workmanship, when properly connected and operating on  
the correct power requirements designated for the specific product. This warranty and  
Magnadyne Corporation or its authorized agent’s obligations hereunder do not apply where  
the product was; damaged while in the possession of the consumer, subjected to unrea-  
sonable or unintended use, not reasonably maintained, utilized in commercial or industrial  
operations, or serviced by anyone other than Magnadyne Corporation or its authorized  
agents, or where the warning seal on the product is broken or the power and/or plugs are  
detached from the unit. Magnadyne Corporation or any of its authorized agents will not  
assume any labor costs for the removal and reinstallation of any product found to be defec-  
tive, or the cost of transportation to Magnadyne Corporation or its authorized agents. Such
