This quartz halogen floodlight disperses light over a wide area, at-
taches to a standard junction box and is for use with 120 VAC.
PACKAGE CONTENTS
1. Thread aiming arm into the enclosed canopy and tighten. Apply
silicon caulk to joint for a raintight seal. Seal the remaining holes
with the enclosed canopy plugs.

2. Connect the fixture wires to the power source wiring. Secure
with wire connectors.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE
BEGINNING INSTALLATION.
NOTE: All wiring must be run in accordance with the National
Electrical Code through conduit or another acceptable
means. Contact a qualified electrician if there is any ques-
tion as to the suitability of the system.
3. Attach the canopy to the junction box (Apply silicon caulk be-
tween canopy and junction box for a raintight seal). Keep the
fixture horizontal (within +/- 4º) so the bulb inside is horizontal.
If the bulb is not horizontal, the bulb may darken or shatter
and fail prematurely.
FIXTURE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Estimated Installation Time: 30 minutes
CAUTION to avoid fire or burn hazards:
• Allow fixture to cool before touching. The bulbs and fixture
operate at high temperatures.
• Keep fixture at least 2" (51 mm) from combustible materials.
Do not aim at objects closer than 3 feet (1 m).
• Replace bulb with up to 150W (max.) T3 halogen 120 VAC bulb
only.
Items needed for installation (not included):
• Phillips and flathead screwdrivers
• Pliers
• Safety glasses
• Ladder
• Wire strippers/cutters
• Silicone caulk
• Black tape
To avoid Electrical Shock:
4. Loosen the side bolt connected to the arm to aim the fixture up
and down.
WARNING:Turn power off at the circuit breaker or
fuse.
5. To avoid water entering fixture, do not aim the fixture above the
horizon.
BULB INSTALLATION AND REPLACEMENT
IMPORTANT: Use a clean glove or cloth when handling the
new bulb. Oil from your hand may cause the bulb to crack when
the fixture heats up and result in premature failure. Use isopro-
pyl (rubbing) alcohol to clean the bulb if it is touched with your
bare hands.

Canopy
1. When replacing bulb, turn power off and let the fixture cool.
2. Remove glass cover and remove the old bulb by pushing the
bulb towards the right until the left side of the bulb is clear of
the left socket.
3. To insert the new bulb push the bulb into the right socket so the
bulb is properly seated in the sockets.

4. Re-install the glass cover.
5. Reconnect the power.

NOTE : Tous les fils doivent être installés conformément au code
national de l’électricité en vigueur au moyen de conduits
ou d’autres dispositifs appropriés. Contactez un électri-
cien qualifié pour toute question quant à l’adaptabilité du
système.
ATTENTION – Pour éviter les risques d’incendie ou de
brûlure :
• Laissez refroidir le luminaire avant d’y toucher. L’ampoule et
le luminaire deviennent extrêmement chaud pendant le fonc-
tionnement.
•
Laissez au moins 51 mm entre le luminaire et tout matériau in-
flammable. Ne pas orienter sur des objets situés à moins de 1 m.
MODE D’INSTALLATION DU PROJECTEUR
Temps estimatif d’installation : 30 minutes.
• Remplacez seulement la lampe par une lampe halogène de type
T3 de 1500 W maximum, tension de 120 V c.a.
Articles nécessaires à l’installation (non fournis) :
• Tournevis à lame droite et cruciforme (Phillips)
• Pinces
• Lunettes de protection • Échelle
• Produit de calfeutrage à base de silicone
• Pinces à dénuder ou à couper
4. Desserrez le boulon latéral du bras de manière à orienter le
luminaire vers le bas et vers le haut.

5. Pour éviter que l’eau ne pénètre dans l’appareil, ne le pointez
pas au-delà de l’horizon.

AVERTISSEMENT: Coupez l'alimentation au dis-
joncteur ou au fusible.
IMPORTANT : Utilisez un gant ou un chiffon propre pour rem-
placer les ampoules. L’huile de la peau pourrait faire se fendiller
l’ampoule lorsque celle-ci se réchauffe et entraîner sa défaillance
prématurée. Utilisez de l’alcool isopropylique (à friction) pour
nettoyer l’ampoule si celle-ci a été touchée à mains nues.
• Suivez tous les avertissements figurant sur l'appareil d'éclai-
rage.
• La mise à la terre et l’installation doivent être conformes aux
exigences du Code canadien de l’électricité.
• Ce luminaire doit être installé sur une boîte de connexion mise
à la terre et doit être utilisé avec la monture fournie.
• Montez le luminaire en permanence sur un bâtiment ou
un poteau.
1. Lors du remplacement de la lampe, coupez l’alimentation et
attendez que le luminaire refroidisse.
2. Enlevez la lentille de verre et la vieille ampoule en poussant
celle-ci vers la droite jusqu'à ce que le côté gauche de l'ampoule
soit dégagé de la douille gauche.

3. Pour insérer une nouvelle ampoule, poussez celle-ci dans la
douille de droite de manière que l’ampoule soit correctement
assise dans les douilles.
4. Replacez la lentille de verre.
