OPTIONS
BATTERY PACK: CD-BP-12 12v Battery pack for portable use of handheld lights.
This 12 volt, 4 amp-hour Ni-cad battery pack allows 40-60 minute run time. Good for
500 to 1,000 cycles. Recharges in 14 hours. Convenient 6.25" x 7.25" x 1.75" size.
Includes belt loop, shoulder strap, 120 volt charger & shock resistant case. It weighs 3.7
lb.
MOUNTING BRACKET: CD-DMB-CL Black powder coated wire basket for
mounting the CL-12, MAGNUM & PULSAR 750 handheld lights to dash. Use of rubber
ring recommended.
RUBBER RINGS: CD-RR-1 for CD-CL-12 or CD-RR-MAG comes standard with CD-
MAGNUM
BULBS: CD-H1100W Replacement bulb for CD-MAGNUM. CD-H2100W spot or
CD-H255W12 flood replacement bulbs for CD-CL-12

BULB REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the rear cap by twisting counter
clockwise.

1. Remove the rear cap by twisting counter
clockwise.
2. Withdraw bulb mount assembly from reflector 2. Grasp bulb mount assembly and withdraw from
housing.
head. Separate sections
3. Unscrew rear bulb mount section, remove old
bulb.
4. Insert new bulb into bulb mount. Use cloth.
Screw sections back together.
5. Install assembled bulb mount into housing
reflector alignment hole.
3. Remove bulb to be replaced. Use cloth. Insert new
bulb and check for proper alignment.
4. Connect bulb mount sections and slide into head.
Note alignment slots.
5. Check alignment in reflector. Two dowel pins
must protrude through reflector for proper
alignment.
6. Replace cap, mate spring with bulb mount and
tighten clockwise.
6. Replace cap onto head, twist clockwise to lock.
TROUBLESHOOTING Q & A
Q: If my searchlight does not operate, what are likely problems?
A: 1. Check for proper connection in cigarette lighter outlet. Rotate plug to help clean
and make a connection.
2. Check to see if bulb is discolored. Bulb may be burned out.
3. Check vehicle fuse box. Fuse may be weak and has blown.
Q: Is damage likely if the light is operated for extended periods?
A: Your searchlight is constructed of the finest materials available. Although it may
become warm to the touch, it is designed to withstand continuous operation.
Q: Is my searchlight waterproof?
A: Your searchlight is NOT designed to be submerged, although its design is highly
weather resistant and may be used with confidence in inclement weather.
Q: Are replacement bulbs, accessories and parts available?
A: Yes. You may order items from your dealer or call Havis, Inc. toll free at 1-800-524-9900.
WARRANTY
Havis, Inc. will warrant all furnished equipment against parts failure or malfunction due to design,
construction, assembly errors, and/or defective workmanship for a period of two years from date of
purchase excluding bulbs. Proof of purchase is required for lights manufactured more than 24 months prior
to the date of the warranty claim. Customer must request factory Return Authorization Form and receive
authorization number prior to submitting goods.
