How to weigh  
1) Make sure your scale is at normal room  
temperature.  
2) Press the “ON/TARE” key. All display segments  
will appear for approximately 3 seconds before  
resetting to zero.  
3) Press the “UNIT” key to select unit mode.  
4) Place item slowly on the platform.

Please Note: This scale is a precision instrument.  
The read-out may go up or down slightly. This can  
be caused by air currents or vibrations. Stable  
weighing is achieved when the display remains fixed  
for 3 seconds.  
Liberta Pocket Scales  
If the scale does not return to “0.0” after removing  
the item from the platform, simply press the “ON”  
key. This will reset the scale to “0.0”.  
How to use the “Tare” feature  
This feature allows you to obtain the exact weight of  
an item in a container on the scale platform  
1) Press the “ON/TARE” key.  
2) Press the “UNIT” key to select the unit mode.  
3) Place the container, without the item, slowly on  
the platform.  
4) Press the “ON/TARE” key again. The weight of  
the container will be removed.  
5) Slowly add the item to the container. The display  
will show the weight of the item only.

How to clear the “Tare” feature  
1) Remove all items from the platform.  
2) Press the “OFF” key.  
3) Press the “ON” key.  
Now the scale is reset to “0.0” and the weight of all  
items on the platform will be displayed.

PR50: 50 gr / 1.8 oz PR120: 120 gr / 4.3 oz  
PR200: 200 gr / 7.0 oz PR300: 300 gr / 11 oz  
PR500: 500 gr / 18 oz

Calibration  
For best results, calibrate the scale at regular  
intervals. Use the following calibration weight: 50  
gram for PR50. 100 gram for PR120, PR200 and  
PR300. 200 gram for PR500  
Auto Shut Off: Turns off after 2 minutes of non-use  
Additional Information  
1) Weighing items over the maximum weight capacity will  
cause an “E” error to display. Immediately remove  
overweight items to avoid causing damage to your scale  
2) Reset the scale if it fails to weigh items placed on the  
platform, or when a series of dotted lines appears on the  
display; Turn the scale off, and than turn it on again.  
3) This scale is not waterproof. Do not expose to moisture.  
4) As this scale is a precision instrument, it must be handled  
with extreme care. Avoid rough treatment, shaking and  
vibration.  
5) Do not disassemble this scale or the warranty will be  
void.  
6) The display value may be affected by electromagnetic  
disturbances. If this occurs, move the device that is causing  
the disturbance and turn the scale off and restart.  
7) Replace the battery when the display reads “LO”.  
1) Allow the scale to warm up and stabilize for two  
minutes before starting the calibration procedure.  
2) When the scale is turned off, press and hold the  
“ON/TARE” key for several seconds until the LCD  
shows the random value.  
3) Press the “ON/TARE” key again, the LCD will  
show “ZEro” and then the calibration weight.  
4) Gently place the weight on the scale and wait 3  
seconds. Press the “ON/TARE” key, the LCD will  
show “CAL” and then “PASS”.  
5) Remove the calibration weight and turn the scale  
off. Calibration is now complete.  
Weight Modes: gram, ounces, pennyweight and  
troy ounces  
Escali’s liability is limited to two (2) times the cost of the  
product  
Increments: PR50: 0.01 gr, 0.001 oz, 0.01 dwt and  
0.001 ozt. Other PR models: 0.1 gr, 0.01oz, 0.1 dwt  
and 0.01 ozt (troy ounces)
