The LED indicator on the front of the interface will light to indicate “IR data” when a  
button on the remote is pressed.  
The IR sensor is located on the front of the interface; however, the IR sensor may be  
relocated by using the IR Ext. port on the back of the interface (not included).  
The Xpress™ 512-Plus will only play back scenes AFTER they have been successfully  
uploaded into the interface with the Upload screen.  
The Xpress™ 512-Plus interface features wireless triggering of up to 18 scenes in  
standalone operation. These are accessed using the CHAUVET® proprietary remote  
shown below.  
The scenes will only be available after they have been programmed with ShowXpress™  
and uploaded into the interface. Please see the ShowXpress™ User Manual for details  
on this operation.  
The model number for a replacement battery is CR2025 (standard) or CR2032 (high  
capacity).

The “Normal Speed” button will cause the speed to revert back to the original  
programmed speed.  
Playback speed modification affects ALL of the programs proportionally. It is NOT  
possible to modify individual scenes.
