OSCILLATING CERAMIC HEATER
OPERATION
Control Panel: (Figure 1)
with REMOTE CONTROL
1. When the heater is plugged in there will be a “beep”
to indicate that there is power to the unit.

2. ON/FUNCTION button. When this button is pushed,
HIGH indicator light comes on and heater is in the
high heat mode. (1500 watts)
3. Press the ON/FUNCTION button again the HIGH
indicator light goes off and the LOW indicator light
comes on and the heater is now in the low heat
mode. (900 watts)
4. Press the ON/FUNCTION button again and the LOW
indicator light goes off and the FAN indicator light
comes on and the heater is in fan only mode.
5. OFF button – Press this button will shut the
heater off.
6. “TIMER” button. Press it once and the light comes
on indicating 1/2 hour of time. Press it again and the
light indicates 1 hour. Press it a third time and it indi-
cates 1.5 hours.The total time that can be indicated
at one time is 7.5 hours.Continuing to press the timer
button will cycle through the settings until all timer
lights are off. When the time indicator lights are off,
the heater will run continuously.
7. The “SWING” button.Press this button and the swing
light comes on and the heater will oscillate back and
fourth a full 120 degrees. Press it again and the light
will go out and the oscillation will stop.

SAFETY FEATURES
1. ATip-Over Switch is built into the unit to prevent opera-
tion if the Heater is tipped over.
2. AThermal Overload Protector and a Thermal Fuse are
built into the unit to prevent overheating.
3. A In-Line Fuse is built into the unit to prevent operation
in the event of an overload.
WARNING: USE OF A THREE-PRONG TO TWO-PRONG
ADAPTER IS NOT RECOMMENDED. IMPROPER CONNEC-
TION MAY CREATE THE RISK OF ELECTROCUTION. USE
OF SUCH ADAPTERS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN CANADA.
6. Where possible, avoid the use of extension cords because
the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire. If
they must be used, minimize the risk of overheating by en-
suring that they are CUL/UL listed, a minimum No.14 AWG,
rated not less than 1875 watts and of proper length. Never
use a single extension cord to operate more than one Heater.
7. Do not operate any Heater with a damaged cord or plug or

CLEANING: Clean the filter net at least once a month, more
often if dirty. A dirty filter could restrict the air flow and
cause the Heater to function improperly or shut down.

DESCRIPTION
The AirKing Oscillating Ceramic Heater features 2 heat settings
and a fan only setting.The heater oscillates 120° and comes with
a remote control for convenience.This unit also features a built in
timer to allow up to 7.5 hours of operation before automatic shut-
down and comes with a 6ft. (1.82m) 16/3 grounded cordset.
Do Not Attempt To Remove Inlet Grill From The Heater.
1. Unplug the Heater from power source.
2. Vacuum Rear Grill area of Heater with Vacuum Brush
Attachment to remove lint and dirt from internal filter.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE HEATER APART (Figure
3). Do not remove grill guard or allow Heater to be oper-
ated without grill guard in place.
8. Unplug power cord before servicing or moving the Heater.
Always unplug Heater when not in use.
WARNING: DO NOT DEPEND ONTHE ON/OFF SWITCH AS
THE SOLE MEANS OF DISCONNECTING POWER WHEN
SERVICING OR MOVINGTHE HEATER. ALWAYS UNPLUG
THE POWER CORD.
8. The heater must be placed flat on the floor or the tip-
over switch will shut it off automatically.
9. To disconnect Heater, press “ON/OFF” button, then
remove plug from outlet

9. Do not insert or allow fingers or foreign objects to enter any
ventilation or exhaust opening as it may cause an electric
shock or fire, or damage the Heater. Do not block or tamper
with the Heater in any manner while it is in operation.
10. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or ex-
haust in any manner. Do not place on soft surfaces, like a
bed, where openings may become blocked.
3. Clean the body with a soft cloth. (NEVER USE ALCO-
HOL OR SOLVENTS.)

11. Always place the Heater on a stable, flat, level surface when op-
erating, to avoid the chance of the Heater overturning. Locate
the Power Cord so the Heater or other objects are not resting on
it. Do not run Power Cord under carpeting. Do not cover Power
Cord with throw rugs, runners, or the like. Arrange Power Cord
away from room traffic and where it will not be tripped over.
12. This Heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let
bare skin touch hot surfaces. Always use handle when
moving this Heater. Keep combustible materials, such as
furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains at
least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the Heater and keep
them at least 1 foot (0.3 m) from the sides and rear.
13. A Heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. It
must NOT be used in potentially dangerous locations such
as flammable, explosive, chemical-laden or wet atmo-
spheres. Heater is intended for general use ONLY.
14.This Heater is not intended for use in wet or damp locations.
Never locate a Heater where it may fall into a bathtub or
other water container.

1. Press the ON-HIGH or ON-LOW button will start the
heater on either HIGH or LOW heat.
2. The OFF, TIMER and SWING buttons function in the
exact same manner as listed in steps 5 through 7 of
the operating instructions listed above.
3. The remote control is powered by two AAA batteries
supplied. There is a cover on the back of the remote
control that can be removed for replacement of the
batteries as required.
1. Use this Heater only as described in this manual. Any
other use not recommended by the manufacturer may
cause fire, electrical shock, or injury to persons.
2. This Heater is intended for GENERAL USE ONLY.
3. Make certain that the power source conforms to the elec-
trical requirements of the Heater.
4. Extreme caution is necessary when any Heater is used
by or near children or invalids and whenever the Heater is
left operating unattended.
5. The power cord is equipped with a three-prong grounded
plug that must be inserted into a matching receptacle.Un-
der no circumstances must the grounding prong be cut
off the plug. Where a two-prong wall receptacle is en-
countered, it must be replaced with a properly grounded

DISPOSITIFS DE SÉCURITÉ
1. Un interrupteur de protection contre le basculement est
intégré à l’appareil de chauffage pour empêcher le
fonctionnement s’il bascule.
UTILISATION
Panneau de commande: (Figure 1)
1. Lors du branchement de l’appareil de chauffage, un bip
retentit pour indiquer qu’il reçoit l’alimentation électrique.
2. Bouton MARCHE/FONCTION (ON/FUNCTION). Avec une
pressionsurcebouton,levoyantlumineuxHAUT(HIGH)s’allume
et l’appareil est au mode de chauffage haut (1500 watts).
3. Une nouvelle pression sur le bouton MARCHE/
FONCTION (ON/FUNCTION) éteint le voyant lumineux
HAUT (HIGH) et allume le voyant lumineux BAS (LOW);
l’appareil est alors au mode de chauffage bas (900 watts).
4. Une nouvelle pression sur le bouton MARCHE/FONCTION
(ON/FUNCTION) éteint le voyant lumineux BAS (LOW) et
allume le voyant lumineuxVENTILATEUR (FAN);l’appareil
est alors au mode de ventilateur sans chaleur.
2. Un dispositif et un fusible de protection thermique
contre la surchauffe sont intégrés à l’appareil pour
éviter la surchauffe.
3. Un fusible en ligne est intégré à l’appareil pour empêcher
le fonctionnement en cas de surcharge.

L’APPAREIL DE CHAUFFAGE. (Figure 3) Ne pas retirer
la protection grillagée et ne pas faire fonctionner l’appareil
sans cette protection.
L’appareil de chauffage céramique à oscillation AirKing dis-
pose de 2 réglages de chaleur et d’un réglage de ventilateur
sans chaleur. Il oscille sur 120˚ et est fourni avec une
télécommande pour plus de commodité. Il comporte également
une minuterie intégrée, permettant jusqu’à 7 heures et demie
de fonctionnement avant l’arrêt automatique et un cordon
la longueur appropriée. Ne jamais se servir d’un seul cordon
prolongateurpourfairefonctionnerplusieursappareilsdechauffage.
7. Ne pas utiliser un appareil de chauffage dont le cordon ou la fiche
est endommagé(e), après un dysfonctionnement, après qu’il soit
tombé ou ait été endommagé d’une manière quelle qu’elle soit.
Renvoyer l’appareil à un centre de service autorisé pour son exa-
men, un réglage électrique ou mécanique ou une réparation.
8. Débrancher le cordon électrique avant de faire l’entretien ou
de déplacer l’appareil de chauffage. Toujours débrancher
l’appareil de chauffage lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé.

9. Ne pas mettre les doigts ni des objets étrangers dans les ouvertures
de ventilation et de sortie d’air sous risque de s’exposer à des
secousses électriques, de provoquer un incendie et d’endommager
l’appareil. Pendant son fonctionnement, ne bloquer d’aucune
manière les ouvertures d’entrée et de sortie d’air et ne pas modi-
fier l’appareil de chauffage.
5. Bouton ARRÊT (OFF) – Appuyer sur ce bouton pour
arrêter l’appareil de chauffage.
6. Bouton de MINUTERIE (“TIMER”). Appuyer dessus une
fois et le voyant lumineux s’allume, indiquant une durée
d’une demi-heure. Appuyer de nouveau et le voyant
lumineux indique 1 heure. Appuyer dessus une troisième
fois et le voyant indique 1 heure et demie. La durée totale
pouvant être programmée d’une seule fois est de 7 heures
et demie. Des pressions successives sur le bouton de
minuterie font avancer le réglage jusqu’à ce que tous les
voyants de minuterie soient éteints. Lorsque les voyants
lumineux de durée sont éteints, l’appareil de chauffage
fonctionne continuellement.
7. Bouton d’OSCILLATION (“SWING”).Une pression sur ce
bouton allume le voyant lumineux d’oscillation et l’appareil
de chauffage oscille d’un côté à l’autre, sur 120 degrés.
Une nouvelle pression sur ce bouton éteint le voyant
lumineux et l’oscillation s’arrête.

10. Pour éviter le risque d’incendie, ne bloquer d’aucune manière
les ouvertures d’entrée et de sortie d’air. Ne pas poser
l’appareil sur des surfaces molles, comme sur un lit, où les
ouvertures risquent de se boucher.
INFORMATION GÉNÉRALE SUR LA SÉCURITÉ
1. Utiliser cet appareil de chauffage uniquement de la manière
décrite dans ce manuel. Toute autre utilisation déconseillée
par le fabricant risque de provoquer un incendie, des
secousses électriques et des blessures.
11. Pour éviter qu’il ne bascule, toujours placer l’appareil de
chauffage sur une surface stable, plate et horizontale durant
son utilisation. Disposer le cordon électrique de façon qu’il ne
soit pas sous l’appareil ni sous d’autres objets. Ne pas faire
passer le cordon sous une moquette. Ne pas recouvrir le cor-
don de carpettes, tapis et objets similaires. Disposer le cor-
don hors du passage et là où il ne risque pas de faire trébucher.
12. Cet appareil de chauffage est brûlant pendant son utilisation.
Pour éviter les brûlures, ne pas toucher les surfaces brûlantes.
Toujours saisir l’appareil par sa poignée pour le déplacer.
Maintenir les matériaux combustibles tels que meubles,
oreillers, literie, papiers, vêtements et rideaux à au moins 0.9
m (3 pi) de la face avant de l’appareil de chauffage et à au
moins 0.3 m (1 pi) des côtés et de la face arrière.

which proves to be defective within limited warranty. For any product believed to be defective within limited warranty, first write or call
dealer from whom product was purchased. Dealer will give additional directions.

AirKing determine que está defectuosa en material o mano de obra y sea enviada a un centro de serviclo autorizado, designado por
AirKing, con los costos de envío prepagados, será, como remedio exclusivo, reparada o reemplazada a opción de AirKing. Para
procedimientos de reclamación de garantía, véase el párrafo de RÁPIDA DISPOSICIÓN a continuación.Esta garantía limitada otorga
