Abocom Switch GS400 User Manual

4-Port Gigabit Switch
In today’s enterprise environments that require more advanced
processing, the GS400 4-port gigabit switch is the best
switching hub solution for the backbone of networks handling
high capacity data and multimedia data.
FEATURES
Four 10/100/1000Mbps auto-sensing Ethernet ports
Complies with IEEE 802.3 10Base-T, IEEE 802.3u
100Base-TX and IEEE 802.3ab 1000Base-T standards
“Store and Forward” architecture
IEEE 802.3x or Back Pressure (HDX) Flow Control
Full Aggregate Bandwidth up to 8 Gbps.
8K MAC Address table supported
Four Classes of Service (CoS) selectable per port basis
and/or checked via IP header and 802.1Q VLAN Tag
Support 4 port-based VLANs
Configurable to 10 full/half duplex, 100 full/half
duplex and 1000 full duplex for each port
Broadcast throttling
The GS400 complies with IEEE 802.3 10Base-T, IEEE 802.3u
100Base-TX, IEEE 802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE 802.3x
flow control, providing users four ports with auto-negotiation
function, which can automatically adjust device speeds at
10/100/1000Mbps for optimum operation; “Store-and-
Forward” architecture filters to eliminate error packets and
improve efficiency. Plus, based on Auto-MDI/MDIX
technology, just use either a straight through or a crossover
Ethernet cable, and you can get connected with any other
devices.
Equipped with Classes of Service (CoS) and 4 port-based
VLAN that enables control over packet transfers thorough
prioritization of data traffic, the GS400 enables flexible
network configuration and raises network application
availabilities of groupware, databases and so on. All of these
expand the range of possibilities on network.
Port Mirroring for debugging network problems
Support on a RS-232C console port for switch
configuration change.
Built in Universal Power Supply: 100~240V
Emission certification: FCC Class A, CE
