Note: Timer-Link works by using the timer function of  
most Cable/Satellite Boxes. Please check

1.When your Cable/Satellite Box is powered on by the timer function, DR-MV79B  
is also powered on and starts to record (It takes about 1 seconds) automatically.  
2.When your Cable/Satellite Box is powered off using the timer function, DR-MV79B  
also stops recording (It takes about 3 seconds) and then powers off automatically.  
Timer-Link mode: Deactivate  
This operation makes "Timer-  
Link" been off after finishing  
Timer-Link record. If you keep  
"Timer-Link" on, you don't need  
this step.

Dubbing from VCR to DVD

You can copy the contents of a VHS tape to a DVD using the DUBBING  
button. This allows you to archive your old VHS tapes to DVD.  
Preparation : Press VCR button to set the VCR mode.  
Insert Blank Disc  
and Cassette  
Select the desired  
Record Mode.

Find the place  
on the VHS tape  
from which you  
want to start  
dubbing.

Select XP, SP, LP or EP  
5Select [Dubbing].  
6Start Dubbing.  
7Stop Dubbing.  
Access the  
Dubbing  
menu screen.

To playback the recorded disc with other DVD players, it is necessary to finalize the disc.
