To avoid hearing impairment, pick up the call before holding your phone to your ear.Also move the handset away from your ear while using the

“hands-free” option because the amplified volume might cause hearing damage.

Do not let small children use your cellphone without supervision.

When replacing the cover please note that your phone may contain substances that could create an allergic reaction.

Always handle your phone with care and keep it in a clean and dust-free place.

Do not allow your phone to be exposed to adverse weather or environmental conditions (moisture, humidity, rain, infiltration of liquids, dust,

sea air, etc.).The manufacturer’s recommended operating temperature range is -10°C to +55°C. Over 55°C the legibility of the phone’s display

may be impaired, though this is temporary and not serious.

6.5 Assigning a ringtone to a directory

Multimedia messages are messages whereby you can send video clips, images, photos, animations, sounds,

voice messages (or “Voice/Vox MMS” that allows you to send a voice memo as a message) to other

compatible mobiles and e-mail addresses.

Select a file from the product directory, press the “Options” softkey and select “Dir. ringtone”.This ring

tone can be one of your video tones.

The multimedia/MMS function can only be used if the service is provided by your operator, and if

your contract includes the MMS option and if all the parameters for MMS have been entered (see

page 40).

When you receive a call from a contact classified in the product directory, the ringtone will be the one

assigned to that directory.

6.6 Assigning an image, an animation or a video to a file

To write a digit or a number in an SMS, hold down the corresponding key ; to exit the SMS mode,

All received messages (read and unread) are stored in the same Inbox.

When viewing your messages, you will find the following status icons, depending on the type of message:

From the main screen, enter the amount in euros to be converted into the programmed currency,

Do not forget to delete or store on miniSD Card large items

clips..., in order to free up memory space, otherwise the

12.8 Memory card (miniSD Card)

Access the memory card folders from the “Media Album”,“Music player”,“Photo/Video” or “Games

& Apps”. Move files from the product memory to the memory card using the “->Memory card” option.

Your telephone is fitted with a camera for taking photos or shooting videos that you can use in different

ways:

- store them in your “Media Album”,

To comply with photo industry standards, your photos stored in the memory card will be located

in ”DCIM” folder.

- send them in a multimedia message (MMS) to a mobile phone or an e-mail address,

- customise your main screen (see page 43),

- assign them to a contact in your directory (see page 32),

The telephone cannot read the memory card when you are connected to your PC.
