1 If the car does not have an on-board drive  
or navigation computer, disconnect the  
negative terminal of the car battery.  
If you disconnect the car battery in  
a car that has an on-board drive or  
navigation computer, the computer  
may lose its memory.

You can use the system to amplify the audio  
input from an external device, for example,  
MP3 player.

If the CarStudio application is not installed on  
your iPhone or iPod touch, follow the steps

Listen to the playlist on the iPhone or iPod

1 Turn on the car audio system.  
Listen to audio that is transferred through  
the MP3-LINK socket.  
Use the phone call.  
2 Switch the source to [iPHONE].

Note  
To enjoy the latest features, update the application on

different from the description in this section. Follow the  
actual operations.  
To switch between portrait mode and landscape  
mode smoothly, make sure that the auto-orientation  
feature on your iPhone or iPod touch is set to  
[Portrait Orientation Unlocked] (Portrait Orientation  
Unlocked).

sure that the dock bracket is in portrait position.

In portrait mode, swipe the screen to use one  
of the following features.
