Installation Procedure  
1. To prevent short circuits, remove the key from  
the ignition and disconnect the - terminal of  
the battery.

Mounting and wiring this product requires skills and  
experience. For safety’s sake, leave the mounting and  
wiring work to professionals.  
2. Make the proper input and output cable  
connections for each unit.  
Do not install the unit in a spot exposed to direct  
sunlight or excessive heat or humidity. Also avoid places  
with too much dust or the possibility of water splashing.  
Do not use your own screws. Use only the screws  
provided. If you use the wrong screws, you could  
damage the unit.  
If the fuse blows, first make sure that the wires have not  
caused a short circuit, then replace the old fuse with one  
with the same rating.  
Do not let unconnected wires or terminals touch metal  
on the car or anything else conducting electricity. To  
prevent short circuits do not remove the caps from  
unused terminals or from the ends of the unconnected  
wires.  
3. Connect the wiring harness connector to the  
unit.  
4. Install the unit in your car.  
5. Reconnect the - terminal of the battery.  
6. Press the reset button. (page 2)

To prevent shorting, disconnect the battery cable from  
the negative terminal of the battery during installation.  
Be sure to firmly stabilise this product. Do not install it in  
a location which is not stable.  
Follow the installation and wiring procedures described  
in this manual. Improper wiring or modified installation  
can not only result in malfunction or damage to the unit  
but may also result in an accident.

After the unit is installed, check whether the brake lamps,  
blinkers, wipers, etc. on the car are working properly.  
Insulate unconnected wires with vinyl tape or other  
similar material.  
Thoroughly wipe away oil and other dirt from the  
installation surface.

Do not install the unit in the following locations.  
• A location which interferes with the operation of the air  
bag system.  
• A location which is not made of plastic.  
\Installing on leather, wood or cloth may damage the  
surface.  
Please avoid installation on uneven surfaces.  
• A location subject to direct sunlight, subject to the air  
from the air conditioner, or subject to moisture or high  
temperature.  
\This may cause deformation of the monitor unit.  
If you are not going to install the unit using the supplied  
monitor stand, be sure to use a commercially available  
monitor stand. (Mounting holes for such a stand are  
located on the bottom of the monitor unit.)

Installation  
Installation using the frame (Accessory 2) (For Headrest)  
Mounting and wiring this product requires skills and experience. For safety's sake, leave the mounting  
and wiring work to professionals.  
Before mounting the monitor to the headrest:  
• Perform the required external connections first (Accessory 1).  
• Using the supplied paper template (Accessory 5), mark the area to be cut out of the headrest, then  
carefully cut it.  
1 Connect Monitor and system cable (Accessory 1).  
2 Install the monitor unit in the frame (Accessory 2).

Troubleshooting Guide  
What might seem to be a malfunction in your unit  
may just be the result of slight misoperation or  
miswiring. Before calling service, first check the  
following table for possible problems.

Refer to the instruction manual of the connected A/V  
controller for troubleshooting on the operation.  
? The power does not turn ON.

pendant que le véhicule est en mouvement. Pour  
profiter des images vidéo, trouvez un endroit sûr  
où stationner et mettez le frein à main.

(applicable dans les pays de l’Union

• Si vous rencontrez des problèmes pendant

Procédure d’installation  
1. Afin d’empêcher tout court-circuit, retirez la clé  
de contact et déconnectez la borne - de la  
batterie.

Le montage et le câblage de ce produit nécessitent des  
compétences et de l'expérience. Pour des raisons de  
sécurité, laissez un professionnel effectuer le travail de  
montage et de câblage.  
2. Effectuez correctement les connexions de câble  
d’entrée et de sortie pour chaque appareil.  
•
N’installez pas l’appareil dans un endroit exposé  
directement à la lumière du soleil, à une chaleur  
excessive ou à l’humidité. Evitez également les endroits  
trop poussiéreux ou exposés aux éclaboussures.  
N'utilisez pas vos propres vis. N'utilisez que les vis  
fournies. L’utilisation de vis incorrectes pourrait  
endommager l’appareil.  
Si le fusible grille, assurez-vous d’abord que les fils n’ont  
pas causé de court-circuit, puis remplacez le fusible  
usagé par un autre du même calibre.  
Ne laissez pas de fils ou de bornes non-connectés  
toucher le métal de la voiture ou tout autre élément  
conducteur d’électricité. Afin d’empêcher tout court-  
circuit, ne retirez pas les capuchons des bornes non-  
utilisées ou de l’extrémité des câbles non-connectés.  
Après avoir installé l’appareil, vérifiez si les lampes de  
frein, les indicateurs, les clignotants, etc. de la voiture  
fonctionnent correctement.  
3. Connectez le connecteur du faisceau de câbles à  
l’appareil.  
4. Installez l’appareil dans votre voiture.  
5. Reconnectez la borne - la batterie.

Reinigung des Geräts  
Falls die Frontblende dieses Gerätes verschmutzt sein sollte,  
wischen Sie sie bitte mit einem trockenen und sauberen  
Tuch wie beispielsweise einem Silikontuch ab.  
Falls die Frontblende extrem verschmutzt sein sollte,  
wischen Sie sie bitte mit einem mit Neutralreiniger  
befeuchteten Tuch ab und anschließend mit einem  
sauberen und trockenen Tuch trocken.

Das Auftragen von Spray direkt auf dem Gerät kann zu  
einer Beeinträchtigung der mechanischen Teile führen.

Hinweise zur Installation  
1. Ziehen Sie den Zündschlüssel ab und trennen  
Sie den Minuspol von der Batterie - ab, um

Installieren Sie das Gerät an keiner Stelle mit direktem  
Sonnenlicht, extremer Wärme oder Luftfeuchtigkeit.  
Schützen Sie beides darüber hinaus vor Staub und  
Spritzwasser.  
Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall Ihre eigenen Schrauben.  
Verwenden Sie ausschließlich die im Lieferumfang  
enthaltenen Schrauben. Zu lange oder zu dicke  
Schrauben könnten das Gerät beschädigen.  
Wenn die Sicherung durchbrennt, stellen Sie bitte zuerst  
sicher, dass die Kabel keinen Kurzschluss verursacht  
haben. Tauschen Sie anschließend die alte Sicherung  
gegen eine neue Sicherung gleichen Werts aus.  
Achten Sie darauf, dass keine nicht angeschlossenen  
Kabel oder Anschlüsse mit Metallteilen am Fahrzeug oder  
mit anderen Elektrizität leitenden Teilen in Berührung  
kommen. Um Kurzschlüsse zu vermeiden, entfernen  
Sie bitte die Schutzkappen von nicht verwendeten  
Anschlüssen oder Kabelenden nicht.  
2. Führen Sie die ordnungsgemäßen Ein- und  
Ausgangskabel-Anschlüsse für die einzelnen  
Geräte durch.  
3. Schließen Sie den Kabelbaum-Anschluss am  
Gerät an.  
4. Bauen Sie das Gerät in Ihrem Fahrzeug ein.  
5. Schließen Sie den Minuspol der Batterie -  
erneut an.  
6. Drücken Sie die Rückstelltaste. (Seite 18)

Trennen Sie zur Vermeidung eines Kurzschlusses  
während der Installation das Batteriekabel vom Minuspol  
der Batterie ab.  
Stellen Sie sicher, dass dieses Gerät sicher stabilisiert  
wird. Installieren Sie es an keinem Ort, der nicht die  
erforderliche Stabilität aufweist.  
Folgen Sie den in dieser Bedienungsanleitung  
beschriebenen Installations- und

1. Voorkom kortsluiting door de sleutel uit het  
contact te halen en de minkabel - van de accu  
los te koppelen.

De bevestiging en bedrading van dit product vereist  
vakbekwaamheid en ervaring. Laat de bevestiging en  
bedrading om veiligheidsredenen door vaklui uitvoeren.  
Installeer het toestel niet op plaatsen die aan direct  
zonlicht, hitte of extreme vochtigheid blootstaan. Vermijd  
ook zeer stoffige plaatsen of plaatsen die blootstaan aan  
waterspatten.  
2. Maak de juiste ingangs- en  
uitgangskabelaansluitingen voor elke eenheid.

3. Neem de bedradingsbundel en verbind deze  
met het toestel.  
4. Installeer het toestel in de auto.  
5. Sluit de minpool - van de accu weer aan.  
6. Druk op de resettoets. (blz. 26)

Gebruik geen eigen schroeven. Gebruik uitsluitend de  
bij het toestel geleverde schroeven. Het toestel wordt  
mogelijk beschadigd door gebruik van andere schroeven.  
Controleer bij een doorgebrande zekering eerst of de  
kabels geen kortsluiting hebben veroorzaakt en vervang  
u vervolgens de oude zekering door een nieuwe met  
dezelfde stroomsterkte.  
Zorg dat de niet aangesloten kabels of aansluitingen niet  
in contact komen met het metaal van uw auto of ander  
elektrisch geleidend materiaal. Voorkom kortsluitingen  
door de kapjes van ongebruikte aansluitingen of niet-  
aangesloten kabeluiteinden niet te verwijderen.  
Controleer na installatie van het toestel of de remlichten,  
knipperlichten, ruitenwissers, enz. op de auto naar  
behoren werken.  
2 WAARSCHUWING

Voorkom kortsluiting door de accukabel aan de  
negatieve pool van de accu los te maken tijdens de  
installatie.

Zorg voor een goede stabiliteit van dit product. Installeer  
het niet op een plaats die niet stabiel is.  
Volg de installatie- en bedradingsprocedures die in  
deze gebruiksaanwijzing worden beschreven. Onjuiste  
bedrading of wijziging van de installatie kan niet alleen  
een defect of beschadiging van het toestel tot gevolg  
hebben, maar ook een ongeluk veroorzaken.  
Installeer het toestel in geen geval op de volgende  
plaatsen.

Isoleer niet-aangesloten kabels met isolatieband of ander  
geschikt materiaal.  
Veeg het installatievlak grondig schoon en verwijder olie  
en ander vuil.

• Een plaats die de werking van het airbagsysteem stoort.  
• Een plaats die niet van kunststof is gemaakt.  
\Installatie op leder, hout of stof kan het oppervlak  
beschadigen.  
Vermijd installatie op oneffen oppervlakken.  
• Een plaats die blootstaat aan direct zonlicht, lucht van  
de airconditioning, vocht of hoge temperatuur.  
\Dit kan vervorming van de monitoreenheid tot  
gevolg hebben.

Als u voor de installatie van het toestel de bijgeleverde

Non installate l’apparecchio in un luogo esposto a luce

viti in dotazione. Se si utilizzano viti errate, è possibile  
danneggiare l'unità.  
Se un fusibile salta, assicuratevi innanzitutto che i cavi  
non abbiano provocato un cortocircuito, quindi sostituite  
il vecchio fusibile con uno nuovo della stessa potenza.  
Non lasciate che cavi o terminali non collegati tocchino  
le parti metalliche sul veicolo o qualsiasi altro conduttore  
di elettricità. Per prevenire cortocircuiti, non rimuovete le  
protezioni dai terminali non utilizzati o dalle estremità di  
cavi non collegati.  
Dopo avere installato l'unità, controllate che le luci dei  
freni, gli indicatori, il tergicristallo ecc. dell'automobile  
funzionino correttamente.  
Isolate i cavi non collegati con del nastro isolante in vinile  
o un altro materiale simile.  
Eliminate con cura eventuali tracce di olio e sporcizia  
dalla superficie di installazione.  
Evitate l’installazione su superfici irregolari.  
3. Collegate il connettore del fascio di cavi  
all’apparecchio.  
4. Installate l’apparecchio nell’automobile.  
5. Ricollegate il terminale negativo - della batteria.

Procedimiento de instalación  
1. Para evitar cortocircuitos, retire la llave del  
encendido y desconecte el terminal - de la  
batería.

2. Realice las conexiones correctas para el cable de  
entrada y salida para cada unidad.

No instale la unidad en un sitio expuesto a la luz directa  
del sol, o excesivamente húmedo o caluroso. Además  
deberá evitar sitios con mucho polvo o la posibilidad de  
que se derrame agua sobre ella.  
3. Conecte el conector del mazo de conductores a  
la unidad.  
4. Instale la unidad en su automóvil.

No utilice sus propios tornillos. Utilice sólo los tornillos  
incluidos. El uso de tornillos diferentes podría causar  
daños en la unidad principal.  
5. Vuelva a conectar el terminal - de la batería.

Si se funde el fusible, en primer lugar asegúrese de que  
los cables no hayan causado un cortocircuito, y luego  
reemplace el fusible usado por uno del mismo régimen.  
No permita que cables o terminales sin conectar, toquen  
piezas metálicas en el vehículo o cualquier otro material  
conductor de electricidad. Para evitar cortocircuitos,  
no retire las tapas de los terminales sin utilizar o de los  
extremos de los cables sin conectar.  
Después de instalar la unidad, compruebe que  
las lámparas de freno, las luces intermitentes, el  
limpiaparabrisas, etc. funcionen satisfactoriamente.  
Enrolle los cables no conectados con una cinta de vinilo  
u otro material similar para que queden aislados.  
Limpie a fondo aceite u otras suciedades de la superficie  
de instalación.

3. 将电线束的连接器连接到装置上。

5. 连接步骤1所卸下的蓄电池 - 极端子。

· 安装时，请务必使用所附的螺丝。请务必使用随机提供  
的螺丝。如使用其他的螺丝，可能会造成装置的故障。  
· 保险丝烧断时，应检查导线等有无短路，然后更换规定  
容量相同的保险丝。  
2 警告  
· 为防止触电，连接时先拆下蓄电池负极端的电缆。  
· 务必稳固地安装本产品。不要将本产品安装在不稳固原  
地方。  
· 请勿将未连接的导线和端子触碰已连接电源的汽车金属  
部位等。另外，为了防止短路事故，请不要拆卸附在未  
连接的导线和端子上的外罩。  
· 请按说明书中描述的步骤安装和接线。不适当的接线或  
改动安装不仅会引起本装置的故障或损坏，而且可能导  
致危险。  
· 在完成安装后，检查汽车的制动灯、转向灯、雨刷等是  
否工作正常。  
· 不要将本装置安装在下列位置。  
· 请用乙烯带等绝缘物包覆未连接的导线。  
· 仔细擦净安装表面的油污和尘土等。  
·妨碍气囊系统操作的位置。  
·不是由塑料制成的位置。  
不得安装在不平的表面。  
\ 安装在皮革、木材或织物上可能会损坏其表面。  
· 受阳光直射的位置，受空调器空气影响的位置，或受  
潮气或高温影响的位置。
