Condensation  
When the car is air-conditioned, moisture may collect  
on the laser lens. This may cause disc read errors. In  
this case, remove the disc and wait for the moisture  
to evaporate.  
Make sure all important data has been backed  
up. We shall bear no responsibility for any loss of  
recorded data.  
Never put or leave any metallic objects (such as  
coins or metal tools) inside the unit, to prevent a  
short circuit.  
If a disc error occurs due to condensation on the  
laser lens, eject the disc and wait for the moisture to  
evaporate.  
Remote control (RC-406):  
Do not leave the remote control in hot places such  
as on the dashboard.  
The Lithium battery is in danger of explosion if  
replaced incorrectly. Replace it only with the same  
or equivalent type.  
The battery pack or batteries shall not be exposed  
to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

2. GETTING STARTED  
SONG: The source is CD, USB, iPod, Pandora.  
When displaying song information in the  
Music Search mode.  
Canceling the demonstration mode  
The display demonstration is always turned on unless  
you cancel it.

DIGITAL: HD Radio digital broadcast is tuned in.  
Blinks when changed to analog broadcast.  
When you turn on the power (or after you reset the  
unit), the display shows:  
TAG: The song information can be registered.  
+: Indicates that the Replay function is ON.  
“CANCEL DEMO” X“PRESS” X“VOLUME KNOB”  
LOUD: “LOUDNESS” is set to “LV1” or “LV2. See

or “the” in the alphabet search mode, it is searched for in  
defiance of the article.  
Selecting Random Play  
Press [3 9] repeatedly to make a selection.
