IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS FOR  
ALL ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES  
Unwind the cord before use.  
Do not let the cord hand over the edge of  
a table or counter, touch hot surfaces or  
become knotted.  
This appliance is not intended for use by  
young children or infirm persons unless  
they have been adequately supervised by a  
responsible person to ensure that they  
can use the appliance safely.Young children  
should be supervised to ensure that they  
do not play with the appliance.  
It is recommended to regularly inspect the  
appliance. Do not use the appliance if  
power supply cord, plug or appliance  
becomes damaged in any way. Return the  
entire appliance to the nearest authorised  
Kambrook Service Centre for examination  
and/or repair.  
Any maintenance other than cleaning  
should be performed at an authorised  
Kambrook Service Centre.  
This appliance is for household use only.  
Do not use this appliance for anything  
other than its intended use. Do not use in  
moving vehicles or boats. Do not use  
outdoors.  
The installation of a residual current  
device (safety switch) is recommended to  
provide additional safety protection when  
using electrical appliances. It is advisable  
that a safety switch with a rated residual  
operating current not exceeding 30mA be  
installed in the electrical circuit supplying  
the appliance. See your electrician for  
professional advice.

When ice shaving is complete, unplug the  
Frost Factory and clean. Please see  
Disassembling/Cleaning your Frost Factory  
for directions.  
Before first use  
Remove all packaging material and  
promotional labels. Wash the ice chamber  
and base in warm, soapy water, rinse and  
dry thoroughly.  
NOTE! Please handle the ice chamber carefully  
as the shaving blade is sharp. Mis-handling of the  
blade may cause injury.  
Wipe the motor body with a damp cloth.  
Assembling/Operating the  
Frost Factory  
Place water in the freezer container  
leaving 1cm from the top to place the lid  
on.Then place the container in the freezer  
for 24 hours.  
Tips for the best use of your  
Kambrook Frost Factory  
Do  
Ensure all removable parts have been  
thoroughly washed and dried before  
assembly (except motor body).  
Place the motor body on a flat, dry  
surface. Ensure the power plug is  
unplugged from the power outlet.  
Ensure the Frost Factory is correctly  
assembled before operating.  
Ensure the Frost Factory is used on  
a clean, dry surface.  
Place a deep bowl or container onto the  
base platform to hold shaved ice.  
Don’t  
Place the ice chamber into the base by  
lining up the flat sides and pushing the  
chamber down.  
Do not use ice cubes in the ice chamber.  
Do not use the ice chamber to store ice.  
Once the water in the freezer container  
has set and formed into ice, remove the  
freezer container from the freezer.  
Do not immerse the motor body, cord or  
power plug in water or any other liquid.  
Do not use harsh abrasives or cleaners.  
Remove the block of ice from the freezer  
container.  
Do not place any of the removable parts  
in the dishwasher.  
Place the ice in the ice chamber.  
Cleaning your Frost Factory  
Ensure the Frost Factory has been  
unplugged from the power outlet.  
Place the motor body on top of the ice  
chamber. Plug the cord into a 230/240v  
power outlet and switch on at the power  
outlet.  
Remove the bowl of shaved ice from  
the base platform.  
Push the top of the motor housing to  
start shaving. Release the motor housing  
to stop shaving.  
Remove the motor body by lifting it in  
an upward position. Do not immerse  
in water.

Carefully remove the ice chamber by  
lifting it in an upward position.  
Some small ice pieces may remain in the  
ice chamber; simply run the ice chamber  
under warm water so that all excess ice  
dissolves.  
If extra cleaning is necessary, wash with  
warm soapy water and dry thoroughly  
with a clean cloth.  
Do not use harsh abrasives or cleaners.  
Dry all parts thoroughly.  
Warning! Ice cubes must not be used  
in the ice chamber. Only use the ice which  
is formed in the freezer container.  
NOTE! Do not place any of the removable parts  
in the dishwasher.  
NOTE! Do not immerse the motor base, cord  
or power plug in water or any other liquid.  
Cleaning the Motor Body  
The Motor body can be cleaned with  
a soft, damp cloth (do not use abrasive  
agents or cloths which can damage the  
surface). Dry and polish with a soft,  
lint-free cloth.  
Storage  
Before storing, thoroughly wash and dry  
all removable parts.  
Assemble the Frost Factory and store on  
the kitchen bench or in an easy to access  
cupboard.  
Store out of reach of children.  
Store the appliance upright.  
Do not store anything on top of  
the appliance.

Place all ingredients except ice into  
cocktail shaker and shake it well. Place  
shaved ice into glass. Pour cocktail mixture  
over the shaved ice and serve garnished  
with pineapple leaves.  
RECIPES:  
FOR KIDS  
Juicy treats  
Add your favourite juice such as orange,  
apple, pineapple or tropical to the shaved  
ice.  
Fluffy duck  
15ml white rum  
Cordial treats  
15ml advocaat  
60ml orange juice  
15ml cream  
Add your favourite cordial to shaved ice  
and enjoy the icy treat.You can also add  
the cordial to the water before it is frozen  
to create a coloured snow effect.  
Shaved ice  
Soft drink flavourings:  
Place all ingredients except ice into  
cocktail shaker and shake it well. Place  
shaved ice into glass. Pour cocktail mixture  
over the shaved ice and serve garnished  
with a twisted orange slice.  
Use soft drinks to enjoy a different  
delicious icy flavour.  
FOR ADULTS  
Margarita  
30ml Tequila  
Splice  
30ml Midori  
15ml fresh lime juice  
30ml Triple sec or Cointreau  
Shaved ice  
30ml Malibu  
60ml pineapple juice  
40ml cream  
Place all ingredients except ice into  
cocktail shaker and shake it well. Place  
shaved ice into glass with a salted rim.  
Pour cocktail mixture over the shaved ice  
and serve garnished with a lime slice.

Place all ingredients except ice into  
cocktail shaker and shake it well. Place  
shaved ice into glass. Pour cocktail mixture  
over the shaved ice and serve garnished  
with a slice of pineapple and a cocktail  
cherry.  
Pina Colada  
60ml pineapple juice  
30ml coconut cream  
30ml dark rum

Tip! Always refill the empty freezer containers with  
water and place in freezer, ready for next use.

KAMBROOK warrants the purchaser  
against defects in workmanship and  
material, for a period of 12 months from  
the date of purchase (3 months  
commercial use).  
In the event of KAMBROOK choosing to  
replace the appliance, the guarantee will  
expire at the original date, ie. 12 months  
from the original purchase date.  
In Australia, this KAMBROOK Guarantee  
is additional to the conditions and  
guarantees which are mandatory as  
implied by the Trade Practices Act 1974  
and State and Territory legislation.  
Guarantee and purchase receipt for this  
product are to be retained as proof of  
purchase and must be presented if making  
a claim under the terms of the  
KAMBROOK guarantee.
