Installation Instructions

FEATURES  
Attwood’s 3-Way Bilge Pump Switch is the perfect switch to use with  
Attwood automatic bilge pumps.  
RECOMMENDED TOOLS FOR INSTALLATION  
1. Saw or drill for mounting hole  
2. Crimp connector pliers  
3. Screwdriver  
WARNINGS  
1. Must be fused – see pump instructions for correct fuse size.  
2. Do not use switch on 115 volt AC.  
3. Do not cut pump wires shorter.  
4. Secure all wires against movement.  
5. Run the pump wires to a point above the highest possible  
water level.  
FAILURE TO PROPERLY FUSE AND MAKE THE APPROPRIATE  
WATER RESISTANT CONNECTIONS MAY CAUSE PUMP  
DAMAGE AND WILL VOID THE PRODUCT WARRANTY.  
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS  
Remove boat from water.

1. Select a mounting location which is flat and has sufficient depth  
behind it for switch and wires.  
2. Cut hole 1-5/8" wide x 7/8" high.  
3. Clean mounting surface with detergent and/or rubbing alcohol to  
remove dirt and wax.  
4. Wire as shown in Figure 1 thru trim plate. Press trim plate onto  
switch, verify correct operation. Peel paper backing from trim  
plate, push plate firmly against mounting surface.
