Operated using an infrared remote control, Digitemp provides a very
flexible approach to air temperature control with the facility to automatically
cool, dehumidify and heat air by means of efficient air-to-air reverse heat
technology. For added flexibility, the stylish "slimline" wall mounted units
can be installed at high or low level to maximise floor space.

Designed for low cost installation, Digitemp is easy to fit by an installer
requiring only two holes to an external wall. A patented folding grille
system means it can be installed entirely from inside the property making
it ideal for use in private dwellings, apartments and multi-storey locations.
* kW ratings are for cooling mode
only. Heating capacity for the 2.1kW
and 2.45kW are 1.9kW and
2.03kW respectively.
environmental benefits
Water and space heating account for more than 60 percent
of a home’s energy cost so, when looking for savings, this is
a great place to start!
total comfort at
your fingertips
The automatic control system
provides precise climate control at
the press of a button. All operational
modes are programmable using the
infrared handset - no need to move
to adjust the room temperature.
Digitemp will deliver up to 260% more heating or 200% more cooling
energy than it consumes. Using optimum heat pump efficiency, Digitemp
can give you 2.6kW of heating or 2.2kW of cooling, using less than
1kW of electricity.
All units benefit from R410a refrigerant, which as well as being the highest
performing gas available, has an Ozone Depletion Power (ODP) rating of
"0". All these factors combine to give Digitemp a capacity over absorption
energy efficiency rating of up to A.
For peace of mind, Digitemp uses an
automatic inbuilt diagnostic system
which displays the condition of the
unit through a series of LED's. The
self-diagnostic programme indicates
when maintenance is required.
Digitemp is sound insulated resulting in a quiet operation at only 37
decibels. The air quality is improved too; Digitemp uses a fine filter to
clean the air, removing irritants like dust and pollen.
Digitemp has a night function with
reduced fan speed for quiet operation
to help ensure a restful night’s sleep.
Eco-friendly Digitemp creates an indoor environment that is healthy
and brings comfort to life.

maximise floor space. The refrigerant
system is factory sealed so installation
does not involve opening the system
or connection of any hoses.
Key points to remember.
There are some essential issues relating to the application and installation
of the equipment which must be observed for problem free operation:
n
n
n
The maximum length of ducting is one metre
The modular approach means that
maintenance only affects one unit /
room at a time, the remainder of the
building is unaffected.
The unit must be mounted against an outside wall
Where possible the unit should be positioned towards the centre of
the selected wall and check weight specification
The diameter of the supplied ducting must not be reduced or restricted
The insulated duct must be used on the right hand side the product
(viewed from the outside) and with the insulation adjacent to the
rear of the unit
n
n
n
n
It is essential that the units are installed perfectly level, failure to do
so can lead to malfunction of the drip tray float valve causing
water damage
The units with reverse heat pumps must be provided with a means
of drainage since the ice that forms on the coil is melted off every
30 minutes - this cannot be evaporated in the way the other
condensate is discharged
n
n
n
Care must be taken to ensure that the inlet and outlets are not
obstructed in any way, such as by plants and bushes
Only the inlet and outlet grilles supplied with the equipment must
be used
Air flow in heating mode
(shown on high level installation)
When the unit is mounted at high level, it is necessary to activate the
room temperature differentiation function, this compensates for the
stratification of heat
n
The cored holes must be angled slightly downwards towards the
outside to prevent any condensate running back into the unit
Air flow in cooling mode
Superior Climate Control
(shown on low level installation)
...it couldn’t be simpler!
Installing Digitemp from within the room at high or low levels
requires only a standard 13 amp electrical supply.
Designed for low cost installation, Digitemp is simple to fit requiring only
two discreet holes to an external wall. Using a patented folding grille
system, Digitemp can be installed entirely from inside the property making
it ideal for apartments and multi-storey locations - eliminating the cost of
erecting scaffolding.

Select the position of the unit
(see diagram for optimum
positioning). Where possible
the unit should be positioned
towards the centre of the
selected external wall
When operating in cooling only mode, condensate is removed through
water evaporation on the condenser therefore a drainage pipe is not
necessary. In models with a heating function, the unit requires condensate
to be removed through a small drainage pipe.
Drill holes for vents at a
sloping angle to the external
wall to allow for drainage in
heating mode
Only external evidence is
two discreet grilles

Fix the bracket
From within the room, feed
the discreet folding grilles
through the inlet and
outlet vents

Hard wire the unit to a
ring main spur
