Giftige Verbrennungsgase können
aus dem Kamin oder Abzugs-
schacht in die Wohnräume gezogen
werden. Es besteht Lebensgefahr!

Das Steuermodul bietet folgende Mög-
lichkeiten:

Er dient zum Steuern eines anderen
Gerätes in Abhängigkeit vom Schaltzu-
stand des Gebläses der Dunstabzugs-
haube.
1. Anschluss eines Fensterkontakt-
schalters
Kann die nötige Zuluftversorgung nur
über ein geöffnetes Fenster sicherge-
tellt werden, bietet das Steuermodul die
Möglichkeit, einen Fensterkontaktschal-
ter anzuschließen.
So lässt sich z.B., um eine ausreichen-
de Frischluftzufuhr zu gewährleisten,
ein Zuluftgebläse zuschalten oder eine
motorisch betriebene Zuluftklappe öff-
nen, sobald das Gebläse der Dunstab-
zugshaube eingeschaltet wird. Es ist
dabei auf eine ausreichende Gebläse-
leistung bzw. auf einen ausreichenden
Querschnitt der Zuluftleitung zu achten.
Er ermöglicht, dass die Dunstabzugs-
haube nur bei ausreichend geöffnetem
Fenster betrieben werden kann.
Achten Sie bei Zuluft durch ein geöffne-
tes Fenster darauf, dass im Bedarfsfall
die Zuströmung nicht durch herabge-
lassene Rollläden beeinträchtigt wird.
3. Anschluss eines Lichttasters
Darüber hinaus bietet das Steuermodul
die Möglichkeit, über einen in die Haus-
installation integrierten Lichttaster die
Beleuchtung der Dunstabzugshaube zu
schalten.
Wird das Steuermodul deinstalliert,
ist zu beachten, dass die geänderte
Funktionalität der Dunstabzugshau-
be erhalten bleibt. Ein Deaktivieren
ist nur durch den Kundendienst
möglich.

Zur Montage des Steuermoduls ist ein
Trägerblech erforderlich. Es ist als
nachkaufbares Zubehör erhältlich
(M.-Nr. 8363350).
^ Die Dunstabzugshaube vom Strom-
netz trennen.
^ Schwadenschirm, Kamin und Tele-
skop demontieren. Beachten Sie
dazu die Montageanweisung der
Dunstabzugshaube.
^ Das Trägerblech an die Motoreinheit
montieren.
^ Das Steuermodul am Trägerblech
befestigen. Das Anschlusskabel in
die Anschlussbuchse auf der Motor-
einheit stecken.
^ Die vorgesehenen Komponenten an-
schließen (siehe Kapitel "Elektrischer
Anschluss" und "Schaltplan").
^ Abschließend die Dunstabzugshaube
wieder an das Stromnetz anschließen
und das Teleskop und den Kamin
wieder montieren.

Flachschirmhaube
^ Den Deckel am Anschlusssockel mit
einem Schraubendreher öffnen.

Der Deckel kann dazu seitlich mit ei-
nem Messer eingeschnitten werden.
^ Die Dunstabzugshaube vom Elektro-
netz trennen.
^ Die vorgesehenen Komponenten am
Steuermodul anschließen (siehe Ka-
pitel "Elektrischer Anschluss" und
"Schaltplan").
An der Oberseite der Dunstabzugshau-
be befindet sich der Anschlusssockel
für das Steuermodul.
^ Das Anschlusskabel des Steuermo-
duls auf die Platine in der Dunstab-
zugshaube stecken.
^ Das Kabel durch die Öffnung des
Deckels verlegen und den Deckel
wieder schließen.
^ Den Netzanschluss wieder herstellen.
^ Das Steuermodul auf den Sockel
schrauben.

Fensterkontaktschalter
Bei geschlossenem Fenster (Fenster-
kontaktschalter geöffnet) lässt sich das
Gebläse nicht einschalten. Die Kontroll-
leuchte der Ein/Aus-Taste der Dunstab-
zugshaube blinkt.
An den Anschluss a des Steuermoduls
lässt sich ein Fensterkontaktschalter
anschließen.
Das Gebläse der Dunstabzugshaube
lässt sich nur einschalten, wenn das
Fenster geöffnet ist (Fensterkontakt-
schalter ist geschlossen) und ausrei-
chend Zuluft nachströmen kann.
Dies gilt auch bei Betrieb mit einem ex-
ternem Gebläse.

Die Beleuchtung der Dunstabzugshau-
be ist davon nicht betroffen.
Die Verbindungsleitung zum Fenster-
kontaktschalter darf nicht länger als
25 m sein.
Die Funktionssicherheit des ange-
schlossenen Fensterkontaktschal-
ters muss sichergestellt sein.

Zusatzlichttaster
^ Zum Anschließen ist der Deckel des
Steuermoduls abzunehmen und
nachher wieder zu montieren.
(Anschluss nur durch eine Elek-
tro-Fachkraft)
^ Am mittleren Anschluss b des Steu-
ermoduls lässt sich ein in der Ge-
bäudeinstallation integrierter Lichttas-
ter anschließen.
Damit kann die Beleuchtung der Dunst-
abzugshaube ein- und ausgeschaltet
bzw. gedimmt werden (abhängig von
der Geräteausstattung).
^ Falls kein Fensterkontaktschalter an-
geschlossen wird, muss der An-
schluss a gebrückt werden.
Die Beleuchtung lässt sich weiterhin
auch an der Dunstabzugshaube schal-
ten.

Nach der Installation aller Bauteile
hat eine Sicherheitsprüfung gemäß
der örtlichen Vorschriften zu erfol-
gen (z.B. VDE 0701-1).
Die Erdungsleitung zwischen Steuer-
modul und Gerätegehäuse ist anzu-
schließen.

Potentialfreier Kontakt.
Falls kein Fensterkontaktschalter ange-
schlossen wird, muss der Anschluss a
gebrückt werden.
(Anschluss nur durch eine Elek-
tro-Fachkraft)
Der Kontakt c liefert keine definierte
Spannung (potentialfrei). Damit ist er
universell einsetzbar.
Im abgebildeten Beispiel dient der po-
tentialfreie Kontakt dazu, ein Zuluftge-
bläse einzuschalten, sobald die Dunst-
abzugshaube eingeschaltet wird, und
somit für ausreichend Zuluft gesorgt
wird.
^ Zum Anschließen ist der Deckel des
Steuermoduls abzunehmen und
nachher wieder zu montieren.
Der Anschluss c des Steuermoduls
bietet einen potentialfreien Kontakt. Er
kann z.B. dazu genutzt werden, andere
Geräte in Abhängigkeit vom Schaltzu-
stand des Gebläses der Dunstabzugs-
haube zu steuern.
Die Funktionssicherheit der ange-
schlossenen Komponenten muss si-
chergestellt sein.

Using a cooker hood at the same
time as another heating appliance
that depends on the air from the
room
In order to ensure safe operation, and
to prevent gases given off by the
heating appliances from being drawn
back into the room when the extractor
and the heater are in operation

Ensure current is not supplied to the
appliance until after maintenance or
repair work has been carried out.

The control module connects to the top
of the cooker hood.
^ Connect the control module cable to
the circuit board in the cooker hood.
^ Feed the cable through the opening
in the lid and then close the lid.
^ Then reconnect the cooker hood to
the mains electricity supply.
^ Screw the control module onto the
two pillars as shown.
^ Open the lid to the connection box
using a screwdriver.
If necessary a knife can be used to
cut into the side of the lid.

When the window is closed (window
contact switch open) the cooker hood
fan cannot be switched on. The

tested for safety after it has been
connected.
