RADIO REPLACEMENT FOR SELECT VOLKSWAGEN VEHICLES 2002-UP

Please read the entire manual before installing this interface.

prior to removing the factory radio.

USING A RELAY  
INSTALLATION TIPS  
The module has been rated for up to 2A max of output.  
For applications demanding a continuous output of 3A or more,  
we recommend using a standard BOSCH (SPDT) relay.  
See your local car audio specialist.  
1. Test the radio for power, turn the key to the “ON” position and  
confirm that the new radio is getting power. If no power, please  
revise your wiring connections with multi-meter, available at your  
local car audio dealer.  
Below is a diagram on how to install the BOSCH relay.

2. Test the installation by turning the vehicle to the “ON” position,  
then back to the “OFF” position. Remove the key and confirm that  
the radio shuts off.

IMPORTANT NOTES:  
1. Driver information display will show the  
last information that was shown prior to  
removing the factory radio.  
2. This interface does not retain the factory  
Bluetooth or Sirius SAT radio.  
3. The radio is designed to shut off when  
the key is removed.  
2010 and Up vehicles with a premium  
sound  
system do not retain the RAP feature
