INTRODUCTION
BATTERY INSTALLATION (requires 4 AAA alkaline batteries, included)
Thank you for purchasing our BébéSounds® Digital Baby Scale. As you know, it is important to moni-
tor the progress of your baby's physical development. Our Digital Baby Scale will enable you to track
your baby's growth by accurately measuring her weight and length.
Use only AAA alkaline batteries. Always replace all batteries at the
same time. Do not mix new and old batteries. For long periods of
non-use, remove batteries from the compartment.
1. Remove the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the scale.
We have included two growth charts published by the National Center for Health Statistics one for
girls and one for boys. After weighing your baby you can use these charts to determine what per-
centile she or he is in based on the national average. For example, if your baby is in the 90th per-
centile for weight, that means 90% of babies of the same sex and age group in the United States
weigh the same or less than she does and 10% weigh more. However, please keep in mind that
these are only averages and should only be used as a general guide. Each baby develops at her
own individual pace. Please consult your physician if you have any concerns.
2. Insert four (4) AAA alkaline batteries matching positive (+) to
positive (+) and negative (-) to negative (-).
3. Replace the battery cover.
4. Replace the batteries when the low battery indicator appears
(see Fig. 1).

Without a Blanket
1. Lay the scale on a flat, firm surface.
• Memory stores and recalls last weight measurement

• Accurately measures weight in increments of 0.02 pounds/ 0.5 ounces/0.01 kilograms

2. Turn the scale on by pressing the Power button ( ).
3. The last weight measurement saved in the memory is displayed in
pounds. To see this weight in ounces or kilograms, press the Weight

4. After a few seconds, the LCD will display 0.00 and “Ready” will
appear (see Fig. 2). Press the Weight Unit (lb/oz/kg) button if a
different measurement unit is desired.

measurement is complete (see Fig. 3).

With a Blanket
LCD Display
Our special Tare feature allows you to weigh your baby with a blanket if
desired. It will deduct the extra weight (if any) from the blanket. To
weigh your baby with a blanket or any other additional item, please
follow these instructions:
1. Follow steps 1 through 4 as listed above.

2. Put the blanket on the scale. When “Hold” flashes, the weight
measurement is complete. Press the Tare button.

WARNING: Never leave your baby unattended during the weighing process.
Unisar Inc., the distributor of the BébéSounds® Digital Baby Scale, warrants to the original owner of
this product that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one
(1) year from the date of the original purchase. If this product fails to function properly when used
as directed under normal conditions within the one-year period, Unisar Inc. will either repair or
replace the product, at its option, free of charge, when it is returned in its original packaging,
postage prepaid, with proof of purchase. Unisar Inc. will bear the cost of repairing or replacing the
product and shipping it back to you within the United States. Repair or replacement of the defective
item is subject to verification of the malfunction or defect when delivered to:
CARE AND CLEANING
1. To clean the scale, simply wipe with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth. Only use a mild soap,
never abrasives.
2. Do not submerge in water or any other liquid.
3. Store in a cool dry place.

INSTALACIÓN DE BATERÍAS (requiere 4 AAA baterías alcalinas, incluidas)
INTRODUCCIÓN
Gracias por comprar nuestra Balanza Digital para Bebé BébéSounds®. Como usted sabe, es impor-
tante monitorear el progreso del desarrollo físico de su bebé. Nuestra Balanza Digital para Bebé le
permitirá a usted seguir el crecimiento de su bebé a través de la medición precisa de su peso y
talla.
Use solamente baterías alcalinas AAA. Siempre reemplace todas las
baterías al mismo tiempo. No mezcle baterías nuevas y viejas. Para lar-
gos períodos sin uso, retire las baterías del compartimiento.
1. Retire la cubierta del compartimiento de baterías en la parte inferior
de la balanza.
Hemos incluido dos tablas de crecimiento publicadas por el Centro Nacional de Estadísticas de la
Salud - uno para niñas y otro para varones. Después de pesar a su bebé, usted puede usar estas
tablas para determinar en qué percentilo está basado él o ella de acuerdo con el promedio
nacional. Por ejemplo, si su bebé está en el percentilo 90 para peso, eso significa que el 90% de
los bebés del mismo sexo y grupo de edad en los Estados Unidos pesa lo mismo o menos que su
bebé, y que el 10% pesa más. Sin embargo, por favor tenga en cuenta que estos son solamente
